The hotel itself in appearance is old and dirty. The pool is green. The room smelled like mold, had hair on the sheets and blood stain s. It was dirty. The floors were filthy. Will not ever stay here again. And the people working the front did not ever mention the green pool. They didnt want to give extra towels because we only had 2 in the room for 4 people. It was just horrible. Motel 6 used to be good for the price. But id say not anymore.

There were few room conveniences such as refrigerator or coffee maker. Both ice machines were broken and never repaired in the 2 days I stayed. Pool area was locked so noone could swim or relax by the pool. Floors were always damp like they were sweating. Floors were dirty with piles of debis in the corners.

The staff was great. Our biggest complaint was there was not a refrigerator, but we knew that going in. The odd thing was there was not hairdryer! The bed was comfortable, the air conditioner was amazing, the pool and area was clean.

Great location. It's very old and not kept renovated very well. It did its job. Good a/c and a hot shower. The parking lot was well lit. This was important to me because I was hauling a trailer.

Horrible. Disgusting. Pubic hair in the tub. The floor in the entire room was greasy and slick. I used their towels under my feet to walk around the room and they turned black. I took those to the front desk and the girl was not surprised or apologetic. Super sketchy clientele and loud yelling outside my room in the middle of the night. I wanted cheap and clean. I only got cheap.

My family and i did not stay here after checking in. Get to our room and uncover the bed to lay my son down and multiple hairs all over the bed. Front desk gave us another room and those beds had hair all over them. We went to another hotel.

We arrived from out of town around 11pm. The woman at the check in counter was nice, polite, and directed us to our room. The room was clean, but very small for the 2 beds in it. One of the beds was pushed all the way to the side wall in order to fit. Basically, the person sleeping by the wall had to climb over the other person in order to get out of bed. Also, the fitted sheet kept popping off the mattress which was annoying. I ended sleeping on the mattress cover. There are not any microwaves or fridges, but I understand that is to keep roaches and other bugs away. We did not see any bugs, which was AWESOME! Other than that, the room was decent. Had plenty of towels. Now the outside area was a bit worn and showed its age, but we only stayed there 1 night, even though we booked 2. Decided last minute to stay in Austin the next night instead.

I was denied a room because i brought my bicycle in to the room with the vending machines because thats my mode of transportation and thenfront desk lady had an issue with me asking her not to yelk at me after i did what she asked and she said i refuse service and this didnt happen the night before when i booked a room so i didnt think protecting my mode of transportation would warrant her to immediately yell at me and refuse me service when i have had no issues before with anyone except her and im sure it wasnt the bike so i felt like the color of my skin was her issue she is rude and imbnow trying to write rhis in the rain because the refund she said she gave me never happened and refused to answer rhe phone to hotels.com so i can at least get a refund and book somewhere else, its blatant racist evil people like this that think they hold power that im pleading with anyone to not support these people. I knew the way she felt and acted towards me and she had no reason to treat me the way she did and i was prepared and have the audio recording because she did this the other day but refused servixe when i did as she asked and aksed her not to yell at me, apparently you cannot have any respect for the people who make her paycheck little for her and why i was smiling was she did thisbthe other day because i quote said "it was simple" regarding booking a room. I have had no issues and i slepr there and left that morning to return to some woman who needs a hug in her life.

Well I lucked out and got a deal in a room through Expedia for just a little over $40 a night. The room had a neat little table with a booth type seat shaped in a half "U" This made it absolutely perfect to do work on my laptop. Everything worked, AC was cold. The room I was in was clean, stocked with soap and towels l, everything I would expect from a Motel 6. The lobby was open 24 hours, there were plenty of vending machines in there with drinks and snacks. There was a Whataburger right up the street, I guess they were open 24 hours, I don't there at midnight, picked up some breakfast tacos. It's barely off the highway, which is nice since there's no road noise but it's not even a full block off the highway so you're right there if you want to go to San Antonio or Austin. I got there at about 10:00 p.m., the late night worker was extremely kind and helpful. I stayed tonight and upon check out which is at 11:00 a.m., I noticed I was going to be a little bit late but asked the staff working today, the day I left if it would be okay if I was just a little bit late I was loading up my stuff but didn't want to get charged for not being out by 11:00 and they said don't worry about it everything's fine. Great staff. I really liked my room set up with the corner booth half "U" seat with the table, it was really cool. There was a mirror over the table, with a light on a separate switch (two others on either side of the bed) as well.

As soon as i pulled up the manager yelled at me to move my vehicle. The manager Melissa anyway that is what she said yelled and screamed at me. Then when i went on the office to check in, because i reserved a room for 2 days. Melissa said she cancelled my reservation and told me to leave. I asked for the owners name and phone number, Melissa said she's not giving the owners name or number. She kept telling me to leave. That's not how you treat your customers. I will never stay at a hotel 6 again.

This was the most disgusting and horrible motel 6 I’ve ever stayed at. It was very humid due to the rain and they left the AC on at 60 so everything in the room was wet from condensation. The whole floor was wet everywhere and made my white socks black on the bottom from walking on it. The room never dried during the whole three days we were there. There was dead bugs on the floor of our room like some kind of beetle and there where gross stains on the edge of the bathtub the color of blood or rust or something. We had to use our towels on the wet floor so we only had one bath towel. I waited for housekeeping to come by to clean but they never did. I should have requested them to come with how dirty it was. Besides the hotel being disgusting, the area is bad too. We were in the area for a wedding so we came back to the hotel around midnight in an Uber. My husband got out first and it took me a little longer to grab my stuff so I was about 20 feet behind my husband walking to the room. A man pulls his car up to me and asks if I’m staying at this motel. I ask why and then my husband turns around to see who I’m talking to. The guy says “are y’all together?” My husband says yeah and the guy looks me up and down and says “are you trying to make extra money?” I said no and hurried in with my husband then locked all the doors. I literally was trying to be solicited as a lady of the night! This area is not safe. I will NEVER come back. This makes me never want to stay at a motel 6.

Some of the inside of the room needs work. But the front staff is very polite. And it’s a very convenient location for any one that works out of town in between San Antonio and Austin like myself. The river/ restaurants/ bars are all close by. I go back over and over again.

It's close to many dining places & gas stations and the Guadalupe river park. I could have used a micro fridge in the room. I had to collect ice from the ice makers located in the main office to filll my YETI to keep my groceries on ice.

Expedia showed that it was supposed to be $50 a night, and I was charged $125 and so I had assumed that it was for two nights. When I got to the front register I was told that it was for one night and so I was very disappointed. The room was a small room did not have a mini fridge! Did not have a microwave! If I wanted to warm up something I had to go to the front office. If I wanted coffee I had to go to the front office. The cops were only about sixth ounce maybe 8. Overall it was a horrible experience!!! I will never visit San Marcos ever again!

The clerk AJ was courteous and patient. The shower could use some non slip pads. under the beds next to the wall was very dirty. The floors were sticky like they need to be mopped. could use a coffe maker in the room. I went to front desk for coffee and it was water mostly. didn't try it. drove to mcdonalds and got some.

Room wasn’t clean, dirty chair and trash behind toilet. Walls dingy. Outside needs pressure washing everywhere. Cigarette butts thrown on the floor. Only positive was coffee made for breakfast
