We booked a hotel room for 3 people a few days before traveling down for my birthday. Had a phone call that morning asking me to call a few hours before I was due to get to the hotel for the code. I called a few hours before to be told there was no longer any 3 person rooms due to third party websites double booking. When questioned was told if I’d have checked in earlier I may have gotten a room but the manager offered us 2 2 person rooms and after asking late check out for the inconvenience. When we got there the front door wasn’t locked and I don’t think it does lock but there was another door to get to the rooms. One room had blood on the bed and the room didn’t lock but staff did come and change the bedding quickly and where very helpful and I managed to fix the lock myself. The other room had dog hair on the bed and dog food on the floor which left an unpleasant smell and the tv wire was missing but we was pre warned about the tv wire prior and offered on property parking which ended up leaving our car covered in poo after 12 hours but this is no fault of the hotel. One room had a radiator the other didn’t but we didn’t feel them on, management say they come on 6-7 but we were surprisingly warm as there was strong winds during our stay coming through our windows. We didn’t try the breakfast but we didn’t see any info on times it was served but did see some plates set out on our way out which looked good.
