Motel 6 Arlington TX Entertainment District

This hotel is right across the street from the AT&T football stadium and is in major need of an upgrade. The elevator barely worked. You could almost see through the towels and because there was a football game while we were there we had to pay $70 to park for one day.

This establishment is old and in desperate need of refurbishment. Its ideally placed to be a cheaper alternative for patrons at the nearby AT&T Stadium but that comes with travel issues. It was impossible to get a taxi to the Motel on game days. There are no 'facilities' apart from a pot of coffee and microwave in reception. Fortunately there is a gas station and a fast food restaurant close by

Stayed for convenience of location across the street from AT&T Stadium for Cowboys-Bucs game. Budget motel…expected price gouging for room…not for a motel parking space: They bend you over for $80 parking..Very excessive! You’d think they would have at least thrown in shampoo/conditioner/lotion in the room for that amount!…Lol. Four Seasons valet parking was only $30….

Didnt have a fridge or microwave for people that stay for the weekend or a couple of days. And for people that come from all over to watch the Dallas cowboy game elevator sound like it was gonna break down every time it came to a stop. It would make a jump. A jerk was scared to ride. It had a walk up and down the stairs just to get to a room. Most ice machines were broke down.

No issue with staff, only had a brief interactions. However its misleading on the property description. In very small print in a different place is where it says parking fee on event days. Doesnt specify how much. When i called to ask abt parking thru told me it's automatic 120.00 on top of what your paying to to stay there. Couldnt cancel rm cause it was non-refundable. Room is one of the worst i ever stayed at. Elevator sounds like it going to break on you everytime you get in. The ONLY, thing good abt this place is the location. DO NOT STAY HERE..... GO READ ALL REVIEWS on google, yelp and whenever else... its worth it staying anywhere else thats more of a distance.

Their was only 1 outlet that worked it was in bathroom. Went to front desk let them know they brought up a extension cord to run from bathroom to the TV. So basically it made it a tripping hazard. No ice machine on property. Change a extra 70.00 dollar for parking. Since their was a football game in town. The elevator was very hot and only could fit 3 people at a time.

For the price i would expect to not have to pay 70 additional dollars for parking just bc of events in the area...400 bucks for friday saturday stay with 70 for parking on Saturday no maid service had to ask for towels no fridge or coffee pot in room very small and has some mold. The only plus was the distance to.event venues

Only stayed here due to the proximity to the stadium. After booking 2 rooms for over 500 we were sent an email that because we were only there for 1 night we had to pay a 50+ $ parking fee. Not cool. Just be upfront or include it in the price of the room. Ice machine on our floor didn’t work.

When we arrived is when we were notified of the $70 parking due to the Cowboys game. We tried to shower and even on the lowest setting the water was too hot. The floors were extremely dirty there was something caked into our carpet. We went downstairs to ask where the ice machine was and was told it was on the 2nd floor. Another customer said “don’t lie to them” and he said oh yeah it’s out of service. The elevator was acting weird the first time we were on it then stopped working completely when we left. When we were leaving there were 3 other people who also decided they couldn’t stay there.

Close to stadium otherwise pretty dumpy WiFi didn't work and they don't disclose a $70 parking fee untill you checkin and have no option that seems a bit extreme to me Disappointed overall!

Dirty, stained, poor service, toilet wouldnt flush. All of the above. The place was just down right dirty. Stains on the towels, sheets, pillow case and the walls. Something sticky on the floor. Bathroom door wouldnt shut. Tub was coming apart. Tiwels were shedding.

Unfortunately the only thing going for this hotel is that it’s located across the street from AT&T Stadium. The smell was horrendous but the condition of the bathroom was even worse. Tub tiles coming up, mold everywhere in there, door has signs of water damage 10” up, missing corner of the door, tub damaged and wouldn’t drain good, and baby roaches on the shower wall. Only one light in bedroom worked, so was very dark as we came in at night. No power outlets near bed to charge phones, etc during the night. Power on dresser would go out if bumped. And the floors are softer than the beds. We were told no room service but someone had obviously entered our room.

Carpet in hallway was very dirty. Then in the room the carpet was black sticky on many spots. Sounds not close on its own which is a huge security issue. There was one light for entire room which was a standing light Bathroom was nasty. Shower had mold and ceiling was stained and dirty. We were not comfortable showering as the tiles were loose and unclean. No fridge no microwave in room. Parking costs $100 which you only find out after date for cancelling.

The room looks nothing like the pictures online. There were water stains on the ceiling, the walls were patched and missing paint, there were finger prints and a film all over the night stand. The beds are hard as a rock. There was no refrigerator, microwave, or coffee pot in the room. The bathroom had moldy grout and bugs in the floor, and the carpets had stains all over them. The room smelled like a weird musty smell too. Also the only plug in to be able to charge your phones were literally 10foot in the air, I didn’t understand that. It worked for the last minute time being, but definitely wish I would have read other reviews before I booked this room. The staff was friendly but I will not be booking here again.

First room stunk , second room roaches 3rd room tolerated only thing good it was across from stadium. Ice machine broke and had to do stairs cause elevator very scarey

The place was disgusting! Mold on the walls, missing pieces of ceiling, water damage, dirty sheets. Not at all worth the price and a total scam. Plus when we left our room we made sure the door latched. Came back and the door was OPEN. When I went to the front desk to talk to someone, no one would come out of the office to talk to me. We just packed our bags and left at 12AM

The elevators were digusting, the hallways smelled and the room smelled moldy. Roomsvwere clean hiwever extremely outdated. They also tried to charge 100 to park for Sunday

Stayed due to proximity to Globe Life Stadium so we could walk to game. Caulking in tub dirty and gross. Rusting areas in tub. Toliet water was seeping up between joints of laminate flooring when you stepped on it. Room had weird smell. I think they shampooed it, but still damp and dirty. Sheets smelled weird also. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable. Staff was not friendly. This is what you get when you go cheap. Lol

The room was not clean, you can see smug marks all over, I personally used Clorox wipes and wiped everything down it was very dirty my wipe was dark brown. The showers barely has pressure, light fixture doesnt work. Power went out in our bathroom this am. My toddler foot was black, the carpets are nasty. There are stains in the room. Outside view from window js not a pretty sight…. Picture shown. This shows how they take pride in cleaniness! I will not be returning. Check in lady was nice. Only positive thing of the hotel. They are next to the att stadium you would expect cleanliness. Based on our experience we would never be refunded using hotel.com so we ate our loss. It was nasty.

Thank god sheets was clean and i only paid for one night Everything in the room was old, Floor wet, smell like piss in the hallway and elevator did not seem safe to me. NOTE: No Microwave, No mini fridge, No iron. I have a TV in my van thats larger then the one in the room.

No outlets by bed (I have a sleep apnea machine). Next room had problems figuring out the t.v. Left after five minutes. They kept one day payment. Hope they use it on repairs & upgrades. Stayed in same place when it was a Days Inn & was awesome. Have stayed In Motel 6 once or twice & was never bad. But after this, never again.

The price was for convenience not comfort. The TV didn't work. The tub was slippery, my relative fell. The hot water was scorching.

For getting it last minute the price wasn’t bad. The shower head didn’t work there was some water that was leaking through the floor.

prime example of you get what you pay for. had insects on shower , bed sheets were stained, IF YOUR STAYING FOR A COWBOYS GAME, they will charge 50$ EXTRA.

AC took a day to cool off the room. There's no ice machine or vending machines. Yet there are signs for them. Cleaning staff tried to get into our room while we were sleeping. They only knocked and used their key. Staff wanted to charge us $100 for parking. Even though we stayed 3 days. 2 towels for 4 people. We had to ask for toilet paper and they only gave us 1 roll. Not too happy with our stay.

Close to stadiums, so you can walk & don’t have to pay for parking. The only plug we could find to charge our phones was in the bathroom. No fridge in room. Toilet was leaking water onto the floor.

Can’t beat the location, it’s right across the street from AT&T Stadium so it was great to just walk over to the hotel after that game and avoid waiting in traffic. Besides location, the hotel is nothing special, the bathrooms were dated and there were minimal amenities. The rooms were ok, there were beds and a TV. No mini fridge. Stay here for an amazing location and a place to sleep after a game.

Broken elevator. Had to walk down from the 4th floor a few times. Not enough towels in the room and when i went to the desk to ask for more, no one was at the front desk. Few broken tiles in the shower. No outlets near the bed

This hotel was so bad. I mean if it had been $60 a night I still would not ever stay here again but it wasn’t, it was over $300 a night. We had 2 rooms-let me start with our single king bed suite- the bed was horrible, and not clean. When they came in the one night to clean the room they did not change the sheets they just pulled the blanket up over the wetness. There were no plugs to plug in chargers for our phones. We unplugged the tv because we couldn’t use it anyway. You had to log in to your own stuff to watch anything on the tv. The floor felt dirty under our feet and we were wearing socks. The bathroom only had soap and horrible towels that were thin and falling apart. The shower dropped all night (ugh) they don’t have hair dryers. None of the lights switches worked, so you’re fumbling to find a light to turn on when you first arrive. You had to leave the curtains closed because there were no privacy curtains. There was no seating in the lobby. 2nd room- doors were broken, bathroom had a hole in the ceiling, the fridge didn’t work, and it was just dirty. This hotel says it’s in the entertainment district, the only entertainment was being across from the stadium which is why we choose this place. The check it lady was not very nice. Just overall horrible place.

Cheap, easy, and dependable. Keep your expectations low and you will won't be disappointed. The staff were very friendly.

The check in clerk was friendly. He was able to get a room prepared earlier than check in time. The room was definitely cold. The cleanliness wasn't the greatest but it was ok

Changed my room 3×s,1st room stunk, Second had roaches. Ice machine was broke elevator very scary and shaky., So ended up having to resort to using the stairs to the third floor, which was the last room given was., Never had any towels and washcloths Was told I would be brought them after they dried them ended up going to ask for them again and was told they were already all given out. the only thing good about this hotel was it was a walk across the street to the stadium. They were supposed to ask the manager for some type of refund and that still hasn’t happened

The staff were rude charged me a security deposit which isn’t in the policy I asked why because I never had to pay that before they replied back it’s up to their discretion. The lady said her name was D she has the worse customer service and hospitality I have ever witness she was very very rude racist and disrespectful would even look me in the eye as if I was inconveniencing her. I just wanted to know where is it stated that a deposit is required if I had already paid. She replied your not going to find it written anywhere. Some thing needs to be done about this because I’m sure I’m not the only one being charged for something that’s not stated in the policy. I would like someone to look into this matter ASAP please and thank you

Just wasn’t comfortable here,I would suggest that if you don’t want hotel staff knocking on your door 15 times in 5 minutes that you check out before 11am. I was gathering the rest of my things and taking them to my car but couldn’t carry everything at once! Hotel staff knocked on the door at 10:55 rushing me to leave room, I came back upstairs to get the rest of my things took me about 7 minutes and hotel staff knocked on door several times in that 7 minutes to rush me out of the room! Ridiculous! For what you pay now days if someone is gathering their things and you can see that leave them alone they are leaving.. smh…

Very noisy and poorly managed. I had to wait 20 minutes for the front desk clerk, who had left to go to a nearby store. He was the only staff member on duty, which is unacceptable for a hotel.

location was the only thing this hotel had going for it, that said I didn't feel safe walking to the baseball stadium so had to take a uber since yellow line transport wouldn't work. the riom really smelled and there was lits if workers and others just hanging out in the small lobby.

I only stayed one night for a concert at Globe Life Field, so it worked out fine for one night. I really liked that it was walking distance to both stadiums so i didnt have to worry about parking or traffic. The place is definitely run down and in need of repairs and improvements. The room was okay, not too terrible but not a place i would want to stay at for too long. Check in was fine but stick to 3pm otherwise theyll want to charge you. But for one night its an okay place stay.

The property is located across from AT&T stadium which makes it easy to get to and from events/games. The rooms are standard and the staff was nice. The area outside did have a few homeless people but it is well lit and I didn’t feel in danger. Great affordable value for an overnight stay for an event. The only issue we encountered was the elevator didn’t seem to work on the 4th floor going down but did seem to work going up. Other than than no issues

My room was not very clean couldn’t wait to leave the next day. The area did not look safe for me. I figure if it was right there across from the Dallas cowboy would’ve been a nice area to stay at, but it wasn’t people are hanging out outside. I just look suspect wouldn’t rent there again.

Place was perfectly located

Quick night in town for a Rangers game. Great location in proximity to Arlington sports complex (walkable if able). Area is a bit sketchy but only interacted with friendly folks. Stinky in the heat of the summer. Literally nothing fancy you get what you pay for.

My stay here at this motel was ok however, they had elevator issues which is a problem when they got 4 floors, of course the bedsheets and room were not properly cleaned, and some of the ice machines were broken which was frustrating because they didn’t have refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms. Carpets in the hallway needs deep cleaning other than that the motel was convenient and close to six flags.

Overall it was pretty dirty but the beds were pretty good. No Bible, no coffee in the room, no microwave or fridge in the room. Mold on the ceiling above the shower. It did have an elevator but the hallway smelled like pot. I’ve stayed in worse but this place could be better if they tried a little.

Fast, friendly check in. Great room for the price. Very clean and very convenient with food, 7-11 and stadiums all within 3 minute walk

5 minute walk to the AT&T stadium. Must purchase a parking pass form Hotel if an event is happening at the stadium. Rooms smell like weed but were clean. No breakfast. Be careful getting into shower as not to slip. Would stay there again if attending an event at the AT&T stadium.

The main reason I booked this motel was due to close proximity (walking) to the ATT stadium and it is very close - across the street. Other than that - room was very stuffy, carpets dirty in need of good shampooing. Furniture - dresser missing side panels (not sure if broken or on purpose). No coffe maker or refrigerator/microwave in rooms (and they did not mention that it would be) but its odd. I have never seen a property to not have one. They do set up a watered down coffee brewer downstairs in the mornings. They have two microwaves downstairs.

This property was ok. Friendly front desk who offered additional toiletries. Other than that it's a basic hotel. Clean enough. No plugs anywhere in the main room to plug in phones other than bathroom. No breakfast, no gym, no pool-that's why I say a basic hotel.

It was way too much money for the room. Shower curtain bar was falling off the wall, elevator was really small and slow, had to pay 100.00 for parking, no breakfast, no fridge in the room, no coffee maker in the room, towels were small and thin, 350.00 per night.

When we checked in, they never asked about identifying our car for the football game. I knew there was a parking fee of $50 for the night of the game, but when I remembered a few hours later, and went back to the desk to inquire about the car, I was told yes there is a parking fee of $80, but he would only charge me $50. Like he was giving me a "special" break. The room was nothing special, but the AC worked and the beds were comfortable. The toilet deceided to overflow on its own just before I went to bed. Clean water, but just overflowed into the bathroom. I called the desk, and was told theres no maintenance so we would have to move rooms. I had to wake my husband and we had to switch rooms. Very inconvenient and the new room was dirty. No vacuuming had been done, and the mirrored feature behind the only lights in the room looked like it hadnt been cleaned. No refrigerator, no microwave, no hair dryer, no shampoo, no coffeemaker, no frills. The only upside was it was within walking distance to the stadium. If I had it to do over, I wouldve stayed in a hotel farther away and fought the stadium traffic. The price woulve been the same.
