The room was fine for an overnight stay. The headboard had a lot of hand smears. Luckily I had cleaning wipes because I was not going to let my pillow touch it. The rest of the room looked clean. The ice machine was not working and they did not supply breakfast.

This was a very good value. The property is bare bones, but we'll maintained. Getting to the hotel is a bit tricky due to the confusing access roads. The lobby is currently under renovation, thus you must deal with the front desk clerk thru a window. That said, we would stay here again if we are traveling thru the area.

Safe location, clean and comfortable room. Only gripe was that there was no luggage storage facilities, however in fairness, it was not advertised that there was. Luggage was safe left in the car while we explored downtown.

The room itself was clean and in order. The lobby was not accessible, you had to check-in through a glass convenient store type window. I suspect that this was because of the properties location. Though not a problem for me, the only access to the second floor rooms were two stair steps.

I’ve stayed here several times. Checking is easy, the rooms are both clean and huge. It’s not fancy, there’s no breakfast, but it’s a great place for a good nights sleep.

Place was super clean and so comfortable. Room was super cold and very roomy. Staff was very nice and we parked right in front of our room. No elevators but I didn’t mind, it was a great price for prime location. *Bonus* Casino right across the street!

When we got there i had to go back to the office several times because the room keys we were given didn't work. So we were given a different room. We right our new room was ok but then we burned up all night because the AC didn't keep the room cool. Then in the morning when we were getting around my niece noticed there was blood splatter in the bathroom on the door, door-stop and walls.....😱

Room 211 dirty,we didn't even stay 1hr when we checked in put the suitcase in the room and left to eat at the casino around 4:15pm got back around 5:30pm pull the cover back on the bed and its hair everywhere and a big pee stain in the middle told the lady at the front desk she tried to give us clean sheets we was so gross out we left and i ask for a refund and she said that's not possible, i took pictures and im going to dispute the charges at my bank

Great stay, such a great value! We liked that the room had an outside entrance, we could park right in front of our room! It smelled like an older hotel room when we walked in, but that smell went away after a little bit. Very large room. Pillows were “meh”, but we always bring our own. 😉 Fridge WITH a freezer (yay!), sink had large vanity counter OUTSIDE of the bathroom which I love! I also liked how the lighting and light switches were set up, and plenty of outlets and USB ports on both nightstands! King size mattress was comfortable. Showerhead was good, with ok water pressure. Overall, we had a pleasant stay!

We were on the last leg of a week long trip and just wanted a bed to sleep on and a hot shower. We opened the door and it was so clean and spacious. The shower was clean and great water pressure. I was so thankful. Located less than 10min from Beale St. and easy to get to. Will definately keep this in mind for our next trip.

Bed was terrible, a concrete pad would have been better. The walls must be very thin because I could hear everyone else in their rooms. The room smelled of smoke and mold. Would NOT recommend.

This is an old building with thin walls, so there was noise from outside and the next room. The person next to us had his TV on all night (not loud but audible) and we heard it every time we woke up. It was not a real noisy area, so outside sounds were not bad. We slept good, but if noise bothers you, you may want something else. The room looked fresh and clean. The staff was helpful and cheerful. Overall they do an excellent job with the older building they have to work with. Great value - a good stay on a low budget. We would definitely stay again.

The price is right and I actually slept well which raaaarely happens in hotel rooms. Back problems, fibromyalgia etc, but here was great! The front desk guy was super nice too. If I ever stay in Memphis again it will definitely be here.

Had a wonderful experience lady who checked us in was very friendly. I had called the day we was going to arrive to reserve another room and I made mistake and got it for more days than what we needed manager had no problem correcting my mistake. Rooms were very clean and fresh. Housekeeping staff was very friendly, made sure we had what we needed. Highly recommend!!

No friendliness here. No elevator nothing. We had one heck of a time getting there because streets are not marked at all. Took us about 30 minutes to realize how to get there. Not recommended at all!

Getting in and out of the entrance to property is unmarked and dangerous. Very dangerous. It is on a hill and a blind spot. It would be of great assistance to add signage.

We chose this because of the great reviews. It was clean and the owner/staff do take care of it. However, the location was questionable. The sign in the parking lot accepting no responsibility for theft and encouraging you to not lock valuables in your car was enough to make us stay on edge the entire time.

Close to downtown but not too close. Walking distance to the Casino if that's your thing. Hint- the turn-off to the road to the hotel is not really obvious if you are coming up the hill and it isn't signposted

Very isolated location. One night, Uber wouldn’t even come out, even though it’s only a 10.00 Uber trip. Only one very dingy restaurant and one gas station close but not even close enough or safe enough to walk to. BED BUGS!!!
