We stay in queen suite, this had a ton of room. The hotel was quiet and very clean. They only down side is the pool heater was broken, We booked here for the pool, they were still able to swim but it was rather cold so we did not stay in that area long. The breakfast had many options, and the hotel staff was amazing.

I booked in advance through Expedia. I also was able to check in on line. Check in at the property was a breeze. Our room 320 was very nice and spotless. There was a coffee maker, microwave and small fridge. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and had a variety of items. The coffee was excellent in the breakfast area.

It was just ok, checkin didn’t go well, as it was my fault, the girl at the desk couldn’t be bothered to help because it was booked through Hotels.com. And the room was full of stink bugs, both alive and dead.

First the good: this place is spotlessly clean, staff is very friendly, and is conveniently located right off the highway. It is easy to control air conditioning and heating. Now the not so good: the place needs modernizing. There is nowhere to plug your phone in at the bedside. Typically, older hotels will install lamps that have USB and USB- C ports. Not this place. My biggest complaint is the lack of glassware or coffee cups both in the room and at the breakfast room. I personally can't stand to put a decent cup of coffee in paper, but it's more difficult to put good scotch into a plastic cup. Breakfast is really hard to like. There are scrambled eggs which are either frozen or powdered eggs or both. No fresh eggs. No meat to be found and no real cheese to be found at breakfast. They have prepackaged sweetened yogurts but no plain yogurts. Bagels and English muffins exist, but no fresh breads. Yeah, you'll need to plan to go out to breakfast unless you can stand the low quality food offered. At least it was clean! It seems that American hotel chains have all gone this way. Will I stay again? Perhaps out of convenience if there are no better choices. Actually, I think I'm finished with Marriott properties.

We’ve stayed at this property several times. This time we were in Rm 205, which was pretty good except 2 mechanical issues. The spigot in the tub is loose, and the HVAC unit is quite noisy when it starts, which is frequently throughout the night. Otherwise the property was good as always.

The hotel was right off 81 and very convenient for our trip from Upstate NY to Durham, NC. There were 2 very convenient restaurants within steps from the hotel. The staff was great and the rooms were very clean. Looked like the bathroom had been updated not that long ago. We were not thrilled with the mattress. Very hard and not comfortable. Also, our air condition had a fan that sounded like a jet engine being warmed up before the motor for the air conditioner kicked in very loudly. And the unit kept kicking in every 5-6 minutes. Upside - We were up and out early because neither my husband nor I had a very good night’s sleep but it got us on the road early and home earlier than planned! To be fair, we did not complain to staff about the air conditioner because we did not want to switch rooms after driving all day and settling in. That’s on us.

I had no maid service x 3 days. When I called the front desk they asked me to send someone down for towels. We took out our own garbage. There were 4 of us in a suite. The ceiling had leaked in the past and not repaired. There were dead bugs on the ledge between the bedroom and living room. I had a relative who also had a suite with the same maid service issue. She had a few lady and stink bug issues only they were alive!

Becky the lady at the front desk, is such a breath of fresh air. From her fairy hair so her personality she just sparkles. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and professionally as well as entertained my 4yr olds request to practice balancing in one foot with such ease. It's unusual to find people that love their job and such a pleasure when you do. Dont lose this one she's a gem!

Great location right off interstate. Appreciate the 10% discount at next door restaurant (food was great). Easy check in. Great breakfast. Only issue was HVAC was kind of loud in our room. Only a minor irritant. Definitely would stay there again.

Nice clean, safe hotel with outstanding staff, which is difficult to find in 2023. Utilized the hotel as our base camp while we explored the beautiful area that is the Shenandoah Valley. Some great wineries nearby as well. Rooms were a bit small, fine for just the two of us. Will definitely consider staying here again in the future.
