It was Family weekend at SWSM and my daughter lives in the dorms. Had them to the hotel to swim and they charged us $50 for a non guest to use the dinky pool

Check in was quick, it is an older hotel. Some wall paper peeling stuff like that (that didn’t bother me). The chemical smell in the bathroom was awful! It didn’t go away after time. The water in the bathroom was awful made me gag just putting it on my toothbrush. Pool was small and not heated at all. Hot tub wasn’t hot more like what a heated pool would be like. Max capacity is 4 but if they aren’t family that’s a bit too intimate. Breakfast: the eggs were empty and not filled while we were in there the sausage links were cold, biscuits could break a tooth. Gravy was cold and just wasn’t good. Waffles were fine but only two machines and with everything else gone, cold or too hard to chew it was the hot commodity but not worth the wait.

It was a good stay, Not as nice as some I have been in, but it worked. The toilet in our room ran every minute tho and when the heater kicked on, it was loud. Pool also could use more chairs as we sat on the floor while our kids were swimming.

The hotel offers no elevator and does not allow anyone other than hotel guests to use the pool. We Have family in Marshall and might want our grandchildren to use it.

The person who checked us in was rude and unfriendly. We asked for a room on the ground floor and he said he didn't have one. My brother checked in (without a reservation) after us and he got a room on the ground floor. Hauling a large suitcase up the stairs was NOT easy. We have stayed here for several years in a row, but wil look elsewhere next year.

Overall, not a bad stay. Front desk lady was nice, but obviously over the day. Room smelled like mold, and was not in good shape. Besides the smell of mold, pictures say it all.

The staff was very friendly. However, the room was very small. The hotel is badly in need of updating. Carpet was very dirty, paint peeling off bathroom wall. Room did not smell great. Definitely NOT worth what we paid for the room.

I found a bedbug and when I looked at the mattress, there was a huge stain. I was horrified. I went down and approached him. They were very rude and did not want to refund me my money. They wanted to make us stay another night and I told them no I wanted my money back they only refunded partial, stay there again

Front desk staff was on a personal call and I waited 5 minutes for him to finish chatting to check in. Price was very expensive, hotel was dirty and had a horrible smell. Would not stay here again, room was tiny and hotel needs major updates.

Rooms are very clean.. Breakfast is great! Waffles, eggs, sausage, bagels, danishes, hardboiled eggs, cereals, coffee and the list goes on. Perfect location for doing things in Marshall.

Overpriced for what you get. Hotel looks great from the outside. Inside is dated and falling apart. (Literally) Bed was hard, pillows were cheap, it was a disappointment. Definitely not worth the price per night.

We tried to check in and thye said they do not take Expedia Reservations. Left us stranded having to find a hotel in a very small city with extremely limited option on a weekend. Do not book this property via Expedia, you will not be given a room.

Not a terrible property. However, a bit overpriced for it being as outdated as it is. If this room were in $80 range, or if rooms were updated, it could easily be a 5 star. Staff were terrific.

Stayed here for a hockey tournament at Red Baron Arena. Front desk staff were the worst I’ve dealt with in a long time! I heard her yell at kids and then the next day yell at my son telling him this was his second warning today. They were outside my room door with my door propped open. It was 10:30 am and my son and his friend were in the hallway laughing. Up comes the front desk staff the yell at them. First off it’s not 10pm. This was not their second warning. Do not lump everyone in together. Be kind and ask people to keep it down a bit. Found out from another family at the rink they stayed here last year and it was the same experience. There is also very very limited parking. If you are in town for a sporting event save yourself time and money and go elsewhere.

Good location close to SMSU. The cleanliness was just OK. But to many small issues. The coffee machine in my room didn't work, the coffee during breakfast was out and they didn't refill it, the breakfast was cold, the light on the TV lit up the entire room. Like i sad it is an OK place.

Overall, nice and clean for an older hotel building. The breakfast was really good. My ONLY complaint is that my bed seems to have had a spider or something in it, so I had trouble sleeping and woke up w/ itchy 10-15 bites that took days to go away.

This was our first time staying here and it did not disappoint. Beds were comfortable. We got two queens and there was still a good amount of room to move about. Air conditioner worked great. The free breakfast was yummy. Bisquits and gravy. Eggs. Sausage. Homemade waffles and so much more. This is a great place to stay. Staff was very nice. We arrived at 2am and someone was up to check us in. The trip was a smooth as smooth could be.
