This motel felt somewhat run down. Floor lamp in room did not work. No in-room coffee makers here. Mattresses were the Backache brand of saggy support. Breakfast was a spartan carbo-loaded variety of cheap pastries. We havent stayed in Super 8 for quite a few years, and were reminded why we don't. We will not stay here again.

Room was clean and spacious, liked that it had wooden laminate floors instead of carpet. No elevator, and closest ice machine was in the lobby which had the buckets but no liners nearby. (Never asked the front desk). Breakfast was okay considering there was very limited space. It had a lot of bread options, breakfast bars, oatmeal and other sweet snacks. Unfortunately, there was not any options for a low carb diet but I consider a free breakfast to be a bonus not necessity.

The parking area needs repair, the lobby is small and dirty. The bathroom toilet needs repair. The door to the room was hard to lock and did not latch. No hot breakfest only cold bread items. Only steps to second floor. I would not advise anyone to stay there. The staff was good. Just a very old motel but was the only open rooms in town.

The location of the hotel was something along the lines of a toxic waste part of town. There was no carpet in the rooms and the bathtubs were peeling off paint or sealant or something along those lines. And it had a musty smell to it.

Staff was great. The building has seen its better days and shows a lot of wear. The room is very basic with just a mini frig and microwave, but clean and tidy. Bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was minimal continental breakfast:-(. If you’re only looking for a place to sleep and shower at a a decent price, this is your place.

There were ants everywhere! Woke up the second morning and the bathroom floor was completely covered in ants. By the third morning they were in the bedroom and bathroom both. Pictures didn’t match the listing at all!! Spots of the shower wall were stripped down to drywall, the drains didn’t drain. Had there been any other hotels available I would have lost my money and left early.

I was only there a night but the room smelled clean. The shower had chunks missing from the wall and tub portion. The other guests were loud and kept being loud until around midnight. The breakfast was okay. Just prepackaged food but it was quick to grab and go. Check in I did have to wait about 10 minutes to check in. I rang the bell a couple of times with no one in sight.

We attended a graduation ceremony at SMSU 4th. We checked in on 3rd at 3pm. The receptionist was a very unkind person, never wanted us to ask him to clarify anything not even giving instructions on how to get to the room and yet we paid a lot more than what we received. I have never experienced that kind of reception in the USA. I can’t recommend it to someone who I know. Not worth what we paid for.

When registering the "gentleman" gave the appearance of someone keeping the seat warm for the real person it belonged to. Posture, dress, and attitude less than desirable. The morning clerk was very pleasant and affable.
