It's an older Quality Inn. No elevator. And no signage on the 2nd floor showing where stairs and room numbers are. The bathrooms need some TLC. No stopper in the sink. The kleenex cover was rusty and the showerhead goes from a stinging waterspray to blobs of water. The parking lot needs to be resurfaced.

The room itself wad clean and bed comfortable. The owner needs to take a look at things that can easily be remedied and it could possibly gain more stars. Safety hazard - old round doorknobs on doors to stairwell - even when hands are full with bags etc you can not open.it easily. The vent in bathroom and vents in hallways completely covered with dust, doors with large portions of paint peeled off, dirty stairwell and dirty entry mat with debris collected in corners. Invest in maintenance staff and exterior cleaning asap. Can't see how you could pass official inspections!

Hotel is in desperate need of renovation. Paint peeling, dirty floors and tile, no elevator, old bathroom fixtures. Shower was nearly unusable is poor water flow. Lobby floor was very dirty and worn. Paint peeling on doors. Breakfast was poorly stocked. Bed was clean and comfortable at least. Room had a fridge.

The hotel is right next a bar which wouldn't be bad, except they played drunk cornhole, loudly until midnight. Oh and the heater/AC didn't work, luckily it only got down into the forties that night. Quite cold in the morning. And finally got to love rusty brown water to brush your teeth with. Thank you and good luck!!!

Our 1st room had a bath tub that wouldn't drain. So we asked for another room. The front desk was helpful and she gave us a different room. When we opened the door the smell was overwhelming. Instead of asking for another room and maybe getting a worse situation, we went to a local store and purchased air fresheners. It helped a little bit. Enough to make it through the night. Also while talking to some of the workers I discovered that they don't even have a maintenance person on staff. And not sure why they did not have an elevator? And no signs in the hallways with directions to the rooms. Surely this place needs to be shut down or at least renovated.

At the time of the visit, the hotel internet was not functional. There is no elevator to the second floor so be prepared for stairs. The room air conditioner was slightly moldy smelling but competent for the job, but it did leave the room slightly moist feeling (vs. crisp). The room and bathroom were clean, the housekeeping staff did an excellent job. No bedbug sign in the room and that is a traveller's win! If you are looking for a bed, shower, peace and quiet, safe parking, and kind staff, QI is a good stopover on the way to wherever you are going or avoiding staying with relatives.

The hotel staff was friendly. The accommodations were ok. I was placed in an ADA room and the condition of the room surprised me. There is a sliding wood door for the bathroom - it is either broken or off track - it only closed halfway and then wouldn't budge when I tried to open it. There was something black on the walls next to the tub - looks like mold to me. The shower head had a piece of plastic tied around it...not sure what the purpose of that is. And as I'm in the middle of my shower, I noticed these little black hairs all over the shower surround wall. It looked like little beard hairs. I also noticed another type of hair on the surround wall...so gross! There was some kind of food or sauce on top of the fridge. There were 3 facial tissues in the box.

The hallway carpet had what appeared to be parts of cookies scattered on it in several places. The toilet in the room ran every several minutes. The freezer in the fridge had quite a bit of frost in it but worked. The bedspread on one of the two beds appeared to be soiled.

When we pulled up to check in, the front desk lady was outside smoking with her friends and made us wait while she finished her cigarette. The hallway had a horrible odor due to a gentlemen cooking his dinner on a hot plate in his room with the door wide open. Our room had a moldy smell. I ended up having an allergic reaction to the smell. The pillows were so smooshed, you couldn't sleep with just 1. Then the bathroom had long hairs all over the tub and towels.

Hotel breakfast was great - room was fine and bed slept great- but the best perk of this stay is the restaurant /bar next door. Amazing smash burger (fresh hamburger and homemade sauces) and house salad was fantastic. Great to just walk a few steps to it.

Hotel is ok, not the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in (and we travel for work) When we checked in the gal was pretty busy on her cell phone. The bed and the shower were great! The only positive! Went down to get some breakfast. Nothing hot, had to ask at the front desk. A very young lady came in and put 6pieces of cold sausage in the warmer. When we asked her about eggs, her response was oh we’re out! When asked about the cold sausage she said throw it in the microwave yourself while she played on her phone. It’s a place to sleep that’s it!

There was absolutely no hot water! When I went to the front desk to ask about this issue I was told they already knew and it was due to some sort of leak that has been an issue. No apology, no concern, no alternative solutions to address the problem. It seems very unprofessional and unsanitary to not have hot water for guests. And if they were already aware of the issue why aren't the guests notified when upon checking in. I also didn't feel comfortable eating the breakfast because how are they cleaning utensils and equipment with no hot water and no care. Being charged full price is wildly inappropriate to not have offerings of basic needs, hot water should be included, should it not. The lack of care and treatment for the issue was absolutely unacceptable.

The hotel is located downtown Jackson and looks older but once you walk in, it’s nice, clean and welcoming. The bed was sooooo comfortable - we were excited about that.

We got the last room in the area due to fall festivities all around. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Lots of pillows on the bed to choose from. The hotel was close to the downtown area. Had to leave early in the morning, so can't comment on the free breakfast. Overall nice stay.

It was only an overnight, but the lady receptionist was extremely helpful with her knowledge of the area. The hotel was in good condition, clean and up to date. Cannot recommend the in house Breakfast though.

Our stay was fine. The room was clean, which is most important to me. I felt safe. Breakfast was mostly gone by the time we got there, and no one was around to easily ask. Desk clerk was busy on the phone. It was ok, especially for the price. Check in was easy. I'd stay there again, just go earlier for breakfast!
