Been visiting Cox Bay for over a decade and was great to get back after a pandemic year away. Same relaxing vibe and the place has held up very well. Our suite had more recently upgraded appliances. Common areas have always been a highlight and public health measures were allowing them to be booked by one group at a time only... a reasonable measure.

The room was clean and staff friendly. The amenties (hot tub and suana) are in need of refreshing - sauna panel was broken with many buttons missing, locking mechanism to access sauna was broken). Hot tub was luke warm. The location is amazing though, great access to the beach.

Great location on Cox Beach. Well appointed rooms and amenities. Sauna, hot tub, exercise room. Also a nice lounge space. Check in was easy and staff were very friendly. Just a couple things; , bathroom plug ins didn’t work, also lighting was very dim in bathrooms and sofa bed cushions had a couple rips. I would recommend this property to friends and family and would stay there in the future

You can’t beat this location if you surf. The places are nice, comfortable, and I’m probably just going to stay there again because of the surfboard lockers, the level of comfort, and convenience with the surf. Only thing I think they need to change is to find a better system with the hot tub/sauna/gym. Only one person can use at a time snd having to go to the office to sign in and out seems silly. Hope they change that soon. Otherwise it was a great stay.

It was our first holiday in Tofino with our 1 year old. The resort was ideal! One bedroom unit was super cute, and the beach was fabulous for our little guy to run around. Staff were super accommodating and had a crib and highchair all set up. The gym was great to use, and the hottub looked amazing (though we didn't have a chance to use it). Can't wait for our next stay!

Beautiful spot, in a great location. Condos are set up with everything you need. One of our favorite places to stay in Tofino. Only comment is that we were told facilities were first come first serve and could not be booked ahead. But when trying to get access to the lounge we were told it was booked for every night we were there, by the same group which was disappointing.

This was one of the most beautiful stays I have experienced. I enjoyed being just steps away from the beach and hearing the ocean waves as I fell asleep. The property is in an incredible location and has lovely amenities such as a hot tub, game room, and in-unit laundry. The units are modern and cozy, and have everything you need for a relaxing stay, even local coffee from Rhino (it was excellent). The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. As we headed home we talked about making a reservation for next year!

A beautiful property. The location is amazing and so convenient for beach access. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our bed was very comfortable. Wish there was a different system for the hot tub. Almost need one or two more hot tubs to accommodate the number of guests wanting to use it. Would definitely stay here again!

There were cobwebs everywhere. The dryer vent was clogged and it hardly worked. One of the tub drains was clogged and backing up while in use. Worst of all there were silver fish in the bathroom and kitchen sink! All yours for $400 a night. The beach is fantastic. We will be back to Tofino, not to Cox bay beach resort.

Fantastic accomodation for our first vacation with a baby. Rooms were spacious and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. Staff were very helpful in making our stay comfortable, we called head for a high chair and it was ready to go in our room when we arrived. Only negative thing was there was some ants in our room but considering a ground floor unit by the beach this wasnt a surprise.

It’s right at the beach, so it makes it really convenient to just chill at the beach. The cox bay beach is therapeutic. The property was extremely clean and the cottage I booked was well equipped with all the basics. The folks at the reception are really friendly and will give you the right information about anything you need. Only thing to note is that the resort is on the Pacific Rim Highway about 10 mins away from town, so you will either have to drive or take the bc transit shuttle, if you want to go to town for other activities. Also, the resort does have a restaurant on premises, but there are restaurants /cafes available in the adjoining resorts which are 1 min walk away. Overall, I had a wonderful stay, would highly recommend this resort!

This was one of the nicest hotels I have had the pleasure to stay in. The apartment style, modern, high ceilings and luxurious furnishings were such a treat. With direct access to the beach and the sound of the waves in the background, I would recommend staying here 100%. And the bed was so comfortable (very important).

Great place to stay, we stayed in a one bedroom, room was clean and tidy, the mattress was quite sunken on one side, the kitchen has everything you need. Very close to the beach and walkable to downtown Tofino. We will be back!

We have stayed at quite a few resorts in Tofino and Uke over the years, and this was our first time at Cox Bay Resort. It offers a great spot right on Cox Bay, which is beautiful and offers excellent surfing and boogie boarding. Staff was very friendly and did a great job! Some minor annoyances spot me from giving the full 5 stars. All the resort facilities (ping pong table, hot tub, lounge, weight room etc) require getting a key from the front desk, and so we didnt use any of them other than the ping pong for our kids. An upgrade to programmed key cards could solve this. We were in a ground floor suite and our neighbours on the upstairs were quite loud, something I would consider for next time. Other than that it was a great stay.

Cox Bay Beach Resort had direct access to Cox Bay Beach, and is in a convenient location to explore Tofino, the many other beaches nearby, and all the hiking trails on the Wild Pacific Trail. The bedrooms were quite small but the unit was comfortable, in good condition, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The showers were great and there were plenty of nice towels. The luggage carts, that were similar to a wheelbarrow design, made it awkward to take heavy suitcases to the room from the gravel parking lot, and there was no bellboy service. An elevator would have gone a long way to providing easier access to the second floor rooms, particularly for seniors.

Stay was great and the location is superb. We enjoyed our multiple daily walks of the beach and the Privacy and quietness of the resort was enjoyable. The one thing that could be better would be more of the tech side. The wifi was slow and struggled to play movies, as well it didn’t cover the whole apartment. For example our bedroom didn’t have wifi but most of the rest of the apartment did. Also the TVs would be much better if you could atleast cast to them to watch movies, just a standard tv with cable.

Beautiful location, just steps from the beach. We loved our oversized balcony and the units were extra large, accommodating for our family of five. I wish there were more food options on the resort…there isn’t a restaurant so plan to cook, walk to a nearby hotel or drive.

The rooms were fully equipped so we could eat out or make some food in our rooms. The staff was very kind and professional. The view and location to the water is great. Just takes a quick 1 min walk to make it to the beach. Highly recommend!

Estoy aquí en este momento, les estoy pidiendo una cama extra inflable y dicen q no tienen ni una , donde Expedia dice q incluye eso , yo traje un colchón, pero por unas rejillas de el cuarto del hotel q sale la calefacción se me quemó el colchón inflable, por eso estoy pidiendo y bien grosero me dice q no hay

You can’t beat this location if you surf. The places are nice, comfortable, and I’m probably just going to stay there again because of the surfboard lockers, the level of comfort, and convenience with the surf. Only thing I think they need to change is to find a better system with the hot tub/sauna/gym. Only one person can use at a time snd having to go to the office to sign in and out seems silly. Hope they change that soon. Otherwise it was a great stay.

Fantastic accomodation for our first vacation with a baby. Rooms were spacious and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. Staff were very helpful in making our stay comfortable, we called head for a high chair and it was ready to go in our room when we arrived. Only negative thing was there was some ants in our room but considering a ground floor unit by the beach this wasnt a surprise.

A beautiful property with amazing beach view and all the amenities required for a stay. Most of the places for sight seeing are nearby. The staff was extremely welcoming and humble. Will be visiting again for sure.

Great place to stay, we stayed in a one bedroom, room was clean and tidy, the mattress was quite sunken on one side, the kitchen has everything you need. Very close to the beach and walkable to downtown Tofino. We will be back!

Cox Bay Beach Resort had direct access to Cox Bay Beach, and is in a convenient location to explore Tofino, the many other beaches nearby, and all the hiking trails on the Wild Pacific Trail. The bedrooms were quite small but the unit was comfortable, in good condition, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The showers were great and there were plenty of nice towels. The luggage carts, that were similar to a wheelbarrow design, made it awkward to take heavy suitcases to the room from the gravel parking lot, and there was no bellboy service. An elevator would have gone a long way to providing easier access to the second floor rooms, particularly for seniors.

It’s right at the beach, so it makes it really convenient to just chill at the beach. The cox bay beach is therapeutic. The property was extremely clean and the cottage I booked was well equipped with all the basics. The folks at the reception are really friendly and will give you the right information about anything you need. Only thing to note is that the resort is on the Pacific Rim Highway about 10 mins away from town, so you will either have to drive or take the bc transit shuttle, if you want to go to town for other activities. Also, the resort does have a restaurant on premises, but there are restaurants /cafes available in the adjoining resorts which are 1 min walk away. Overall, I had a wonderful stay, would highly recommend this resort!

The rooms were fully equipped so we could eat out or make some food in our rooms. The staff was very kind and professional. The view and location to the water is great. Just takes a quick 1 min walk to make it to the beach. Highly recommend!

I love how this place is right on the beach. We don't have to drive anywhere. We can go explore on the beach go for a dip in the cold ocean and run back into the property for the hot tub or return to our suite for a snack or nap. Next door is a beautiful restaurant and good coffee shop. You can take a surf lesson too. We charged our electric car while parked on the property. The staff are so helpful. We love this place and come back almost every year.

Beautiful location, just steps from the beach. We loved our oversized balcony and the units were extra large, accommodating for our family of five. I wish there were more food options on the resort…there isn’t a restaurant so plan to cook, walk to a nearby hotel or drive.

Such a beautiful property and loved having access to such a fun beach to watch surfers. Kitchens were well stocked plus blenders!! What a treat! I brought tools from home and didn’t really use any of my own except my own coffee press because I’m particular but they had a good one available. I can’t think of one thing I was wanting for except more time to stay longer!

Great location with self contained suites. We enjoyed a family vacation in a comfortable 2 bedroom suite. It costs more than a hotel but you are right on the beach and there are amenities like hot tub and sauna.
