We were on the highway side, although a nice view of mountains I would have preferred the other side view. It was nice with a really good gym and two hot tubs was very nice and heated pool for the children. The only draw back was being on the highway side because of the noise of the traffic.

Parking garage way too narrow. Our car was damaged. Limited parking in area. The overall feel of the hotel felt "outdated." Carpets in the suits were dirty and run down looking. The location is good for walking to town centre area. Suites are spacious.

Loved this resort, beautiful room, views, pool, and hot tub. Two families shared a two bedroom suit and price was at par with other hotels. Plus there was a free car wash station in the underground parking.

Mountain view was the best part even though it overlooks the highway. I think I would’ve used the pool and hot tub if it was indoors or covered. The resort was missing a cafe, restaurant, or dining option for breakfast. One of the elevators wasn’t working so that was inconvenient to get to top floor.

This property was awesome! Super clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful! They had underground parking which is great because parking is hard to find in Canmore. You could easily walk 15 minutes to get to shopping, restaurants and convenience store. The center of Canmore is closer to 25 minute walk. The only downfall of the whole place is that you can hear highway traffic from the pool/hot tub area.

The service from staff was excellent, as well as the cleanliness and amenities There were a few maintenance issues that should be tended to in unit # 315, such as the kitchen spout, upper tray in dishwasher and the toilet seat could be tightened, but this did not diminish our overall satisfaction on the 5 days we spent here.

I’ve been staying at The Blackstone yearly for 15 years. Pricing of accommodations have gone up exponentially in the last few years so instead of our usual suite we got a normal room with two queen beds. The room was a decent size but it was a huge bummer to have an old TV in the room. We had planned to watch a movie we had rented on a streaming service but were unable to watch due to the TV not having the function. All in all, we’d still go back though.

Great stay! The hotel has two outdoor hot tubs and a heated pool, which were perfect for relaxing. Underground parking was a big bonus. Our room was very nice and had a fully equipped kitchen, making the stay even more comfortable. The location is excellent—walking distance to lots of restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

Beds were a good size and bedding was very comfortable. The kitchenette and bathroom were dated and need updating. Everything was fine but the family in the adjoining room had a crying baby and it sounded like they were in our room. The walls are very thin.

From the time we checked in all the way until our checkout, everything was amazing. Check in was a breeze and room was really nice with a nice view from ground floor. Room was clean although we did have a hiccup with one of the beds and the bedding which was handled immediately after calling the front desk. Housekeeping manager did call the next day to address our concerns and the situation was handled very well. We would not hesitate to book a stay again.

This is our third stay at Blackstone Lodge. We like the location with easy access to the main highway, yet walkable to the restaurants. The hotel is very comfortable especially if you get a room with full kitchen facilities.

Great property. Two bedroom suites were great for a family. Living space with pull out made for a pretty tight fitting space though, really had to put the pull out back daily. No food or convenience store on-site meant we had to drive a bit, but was reasonable. Biggest negative was the fitness room, small and crowded with even two people in there. Minimal open space for moving around or doing dumbbell exercises. Also, fitness cleaning options were hand sanitizer and thin paper towels, very difficult to clean well. No fitness towels only beach towel size towels. Pool was good, kids enjoyed it. We also used the grill and it worked great.

I stayed at this property as my friend was getting married at the cornerstone theatre. This is a great place to stay as it’s 3 min walk from the theatre, has underground parking, spacious room, hot tub etc. one thing to note is there is no food on site or room service so bring your own snacks or have something ordered to the hotel. I would stay here again.
