Nice 2 bedroom suite. The gym is small and lacking options other than free weights and a bike and an elliptical. No front desk service 11pm-7am. No ice machine. Was clean but going through renovations. Pool was adequate for adults wanting to swim but a great option for kids with water park type atmosphere. Close proximity to many lakes and mountains and has a full kitchen and laundry in the suite. Beds were comfortable.

Our unit was nice but the rest of the property and amenities were incredibly inconvenient. The underground parking is insane- too few spots, narrow, poles- surprisingly our car made it out okay. You drive in and out on the wrong side and nearly crash with other cars-an absolute disasterous design. We had to walk soooo far to the elevator, lobby, pool, parking garage- the place is a maze and there isn’t even an ice machine in our building! Restaurant/bar had 1 person waitressing/hosting. The free bikes were 2 rough fat tire bikes - with only 1 available- and we’re a family of 4. Also note, this property is on the other side of the train tracks from town so you get stuck for awhile when the train comes through as they are long.

2 full bathrooms and 2 separate bedrooms for a great price. They need to make the floor of the kids pool smooth. It is very rough. And the water needs to be warm for the kids pool.

Kids enjoyed the pool area with the big slide. There was also a shallow pool area for the younger littles. The pool area was clean and well maintianed. They could use more chairs fro parents on the pool deck though.

The pool was great for families of all ages but the floor was very slippery and quite dangerous.

Staff was great, restaurant was awesome. Parking was a little confusing but we figured it out. Our room got upgraded cause the one that was booked wasn't completed from construction. Booked the hotel for the pool for the kids and got there was told its closed, wish it was mentioned online or with the confirmation email. Price reduction would have been nice but the upgrade of the room was appreciated.

Loved our stay in a clean spacious suite. Only slight difficulties were trying to find a parking space in the underground parking garage and our coffee pot didn’t seem to work properly.

Pool was very busy most of the day. Our view was amazing in our room. Parking is rough to find in the parkade. But overall nice hotel for the family.

Folks at check in were super nice, check in and out was easy and smooth. The suite is showing its age a bit but was clean and well kept. The place was jam packed with hockey teams of kids running up and down the halls, and adults hollering in the corridors after 10 PM. Bed wasn’t super comfortable, and it wasn’t clear that you had to bring your own towels to the pool. Pool has no change room either, which sucks. Adding an explanation about the pool to the info sheet you get at checkin would be a great improvement. Just “there are no change rooms, bring towels from your room,” etc.

There was an out of order elevator, carpet was old and bunching in the hallways. Finding parking in the underground garage was difficult at best. The coffee machine had the incorrect filter for it in the room, difficult to even make any coffee. Stains on the sofa. So all in all a bit disappointing, would stay again or recommend to anyone I know.

Unfortunately nowhere in our booking did it say we were in the Annex building until our check in. With this room we had no access to the property amenities listed, I.e. the pool and hot tub. Despite, in the room itself, there was a sign speaking to the “pool towels”. The bathroom also had red/pink mold in the ceiling and black mold in the shower. At check out the lady was on a personal call and didn’t even end it to help me. She said something to the man and he stopped talking. The phone was on speaker. Very unfortunate and we likely won’t try to stay here again. We had one previous experience that was ok too. The hotel was under renovation so all the halls we a mess. I walked out of my room to go to the main lobby only to find I was walking in wet cement. Spoke to receptionist and she did not care. We paid $654 per night and there was no service. For towels you had to call the front desk and it rang 30 times before someone picked up. There was no garbage collection for the four days we were there. I am surprised they aren’t infested with bugs. The kettle did not work and they asked to wash our own dishes. The dishes ion the cupboard were dirty and I had to wash them before use. Overall we should have been told they were under renovation. Cleanliness was very poor. The floors were flithy, there was dust everywhere, and there was mould and mildew in the shower. It made me wonder if the room had been cleaned at all. The front desk staff were polite and helpful, and provided me a 10% discount as an apology, but I feel like it should have been 30%. Any hotel room should be clean, but especially when the room costs $750 per night.

i walked into my room and it smelled like rotten socks / i called about it but there were no other rooms available for me to switch to. it was very foul. Then when i went to wipe a spill on the floor the cloth was black dirty. imagine i was walking in that disgusting floor the whole time.

Overall the place could use some attention. The carpets in the halls were very dirty, the bed’s box spring was torn and the pool/hot tub area was in need of repairs. Of note we were in the Annex building.

We have a 5 month old baby who needed a nap and a feed, waiting made it stressful for everyone. The room was disgusting. It was sticky and stale, not cleaned very thoroughly. I snapped a few photos if you’d like to understand better. There is grime buildup on every door and frame, the kitchen cabinets and closets. The floor itself was so gross. At one point I spilled some water and used a paper towel to wipe it up, the paper towel came up nearly black with grime. Both showers need a good scrub and re-caulk. There is clearly mildew in each corner. Further, one of the showers barely worked.

Room had a bunch of mold in it. In the corners of the bathroom and literally dripping pink mold from the ceiling when we showered. Asked about moving rooms, was denied. Requested a refund after the fact, denied. Would not recommend.

Linens were clean but the room was fairly dirty. Dust on furniture and dirty fridge. Trash under a desk and floors needed a good vacuum and mop.

Some missed cleaning details such as a robe that was clearly reused and not washed as had coffee stains on it. Property had beautiful views

We loved having a kitchen, fireplace, grill, and washer and dryer in our room. The room was very comfortable and quiet.

Noisy as it backs onto the highway. Also very thin walls amd could clearly hear ppl in room next to us. Lots of children/families. Baseboards had all been ripped off and wallpaper was pealing up the wall. Not what I was expecting, especially for how expensive it was. Wouldnt book here again, but sufficient enough. Walking distance to downtown.

The Good: location, mountain view, fireplace in room. The Bad: bed runner had stains. Mattress needs to be replaced - divots (295). Room wasn’t especially soundproof. Annex building inconvenient when room key stopped working and I had to walk to main building.

Mountain view and balcony were nice. We could not get the shower to work, ie. couldn’t get water. The suite has a dated look. The restaurant service and food were very good.

The ac/air/heat unit in the room did not work.

The room we had was big enough for the two of us to walk around in and not run into each other. The view of the mountains was awesome.

Everybody’s really nice and hotel we stayed at the Annex which are hotel rooms. Overall, I guess they were fine, but they are very small. Didn’t have a lot of room for two people.

The window covering on the patio door was minimal and did not properly block out the rising sun. The bathroom ventilation fan was incredibly loud and disruptive.

The room was very small and not at all what I saw in pictures. When we arived the room was at 27°C and the AC and phone to call the desk didn't work. We went back to the front desk and they had someone come fix it for us. It was very loud and annoying to sleep with. One of the beds was very squeaky and they were both pretty uncomfortable. The parking was very tight and they would not allow us to have a second vehicle parked for free and no option to pay for parking on the grounds either. It was very inconvenient. Overall I would not recommend or stay there again. There are so many other options in Canmore!

Room was ordinary, clean, fairly noisy, could hear other rooms.

Showed up for what we were told was 4:00 pm check in - which I personally feel is already a late check in time…. Showed up at 4:00 and our room was not ready…room was not ready until 4:45.. Front desk super rude and unhelpful-

Blinds make no sense. They don't cover the whole window so lots of light comes in. The fridge isn't level.so it wobbles a lot. Bed was comfy and room clean. Service was ok, only 1 front desk agent, so we had to wait a while. Its defintly overpriced for what you get. No early check in available.

The staff were great but the 3 stars is due to several factors. #1 - the rooms are showing their age (or at least ours was). The bathroom is in need of a renovation, the shower stall was cracked, the door was off the hinges and it was quite grimey (reflection of age, not cleaning). #2 - the pool and hot tub need some repairs. There are lots of cracked, chipped and missing tiles. #3 - the front desk is impossible to get ahold of by phone using the front desk button on the phone in the room, I used Expedia messenger to contact them. #4 - I am not sure I like the direction the resort has taken. It's not really much of a resort now, but a condo apartment complex and guests are not really wanted. Parking is a nightmare. We booked through Expedia for a room owned by the resort (Bellstar) and we could only park in the parkade where we could find a Bellstar sign...which we never found more than one (I'm not saying there isn't more then one, but they were so far and few between we only ever found one). The rest of the stalls have signs all over them saying they are only for Paradise guests or unit ### etc. #5 - the fact that as of Jan 1, 2026 guests staying in the annex won't be able to access resort ammenities like the pool and hot tub just doesn't sit well with me. A steep discount at Elevation place isn't good enough, I think the condo board is being greedy. #6 - front desk staff are gone from 11pm to 7am, so if you need something between those hours you can only reach security.

We had a great stay. Check in was easy and the room was comfortable.

The annex building on this property feels more like a motel. The front desk informed us there was no maid service, and we barely saw any staff around during our stay. Check-in wasn’t until 5 PM, but check-out was at 10 AM, which felt very inconvenient. The rooms were dirty, the beds were old and uncomfortable, and getting fresh towels was almost impossible. The pool area was overcrowded, and the hot tub looked dirty and was only lukewarm. The only positive aspect of our stay was the convenient location. Overall, very disappointing and would not recommend staying here.

Pros: We liked the pool and the on-site restaurant. The location is great and the parking was convenient. Cons: We called for an early check-in at 1 pm. We were told to call back at 3 pm. We called at 3 pm and were told we were not able to check in until 4 pm. We arrived at 4 pm and were then told we could not check in until 5 pm. When we finally checked in, our room appeared clean but smelled awful, like a stale stagnant smell. We had to crack the windows immediately. We were offered no compensation for the total inconvenience of checking in late to our stinky room, or any explanation other than they are short-staffed. A discount on the overpriced room would have gone a long way. Especially since we were staying in a building completely separate from where the pool and restaurant were. I understand things happen, and likely this was out of the staff's direct control. But the rooms here are not cheap. For the irritation, this caused on our holiday, a discount, or restaurant voucher of some sort would have gone a LONG way. We will not be staying here again.

Property is easy to get to, and a easy walk to downtown Canmore.

The location worked great. Easy to get on and off freeway, lots of shops and food in walking distance

Lovely area - a quick drive but longer walk to the downtown area, with mountains visible everywhere. Close to the highway, and many restaurants. Room was nice, but note there is no cleaning or maid service, and we were there for 5 days. Not a big deal to us, but may be to others. We tried the restaurant onsite for both breakfast and dinner and had a good meal both times. My only concern was that the parking spots were tiny, and parking the rental car was a bit nerve-wracking each time.

Nice room, comfortable bed, helpful english guy on reception (sorry forgot his name). Good value when compared to Bannf and Canmore also has plenty to offer.

It’s a minute walk from the famous bagel company and is in very great spot in general. The room was also spacious and very nice.

Staff at desk and restaurant were lovely. Friendly and helpful. The property is clean. Though the rooms need an update.

I was not aware that I would be staying the annex when I booked. It was a building off of the main hotel and had to walk across the parking lot to use the pool abs hot tub. I wish this was more clear. Happy it was not winter as would not have wanted to walk across the parking lot to go swimming. Room was nice.

Mountain view and balcony were nice. We could not get the shower to work, ie. couldn’t get water. The suite has a dated look. The restaurant service and food were very good.

Place was cozy including bed and wonderful fireplace. Shower was acceptable, and laundry was a great feature complete with detergent. Missing a dryer sheet though! Dishwasher was broken which was disappointing but not a game changer. Our biggest complaint was that the tv channels were extremely limited. A smart tv so we could stream our own content would’ve been so good. Also, onsite restaurant food was great and the inclusion of bear spray rental in the hotel fee was perfect too. All in all a great stay. Just do better with tv! 🙂

Rooms were good Beds were soft and comfortable Lots of places around to eat

Room was quite small. Parking was a challenge with a truck with a kayak rack. Spots at the hotel were quite small. The restaurant in the main hotel was delicious. Great location for accessing city amenities.

We stayed in unit 330, and it was absolutely fabulous! However, the couch is SUPER bagged out. It didn't affect our stay, but really needs to be replaced. Everything about this property is awesome though. The hot tub, the location, the restaurant...all GREAT! We had pizza and breaky from the on-site restaurant and both were 10/10. Super fun stay!

The restaurant at the hotel was hands down the highlight of our stay, from the cleanliness, the excellent service; extremely kind and attentive staff to the delicious food- which came fast! The room, although we were warned did not have the best view: still had a mountain view, was clean and comfortable and looked newly renovated. We highly recommend staying here! And definitely try the restaurant!
