Due to renevations I was told only one elevator was working only to find out no elevator was working. Trains are going past the property constantly day and night.

The hotel was really nice! But what set them apart was the staff. She went above and beyond to accommodate my disabled son. And they were so friendly! Clean nice rooms nice facilities! Parking left a little to be desired and had to turn up the hot tub! But really just a good experience with great views and good accommodation! Will definitely be coming back and recommending them to others!

Excellent breakfast, hotel is clean and in good shape. Staff was friendly and helpful However, our room was incredibly hot and the hvac unit in the room wouldn’t cool it down and it was November. The hot tub was also a big disappointment, it was the same temperature as the pool- barely warm(the hot tub was the reason we chose this hotel)

Very friendly staff, nice clean rooms and yummy breakfast. Beautiful hotel. The pool and hot tub are small compared to the number of people using it. We didn't get to use the pool as there were so many people already in it. If you don't care about the pool than this hotel is great.

The cleanliness rating is based on how the room looked after cleaning. We stayed 4 nights and only requested service once, leaving a tip with a note. While the tip was gladly accepted, basic tasks were skipped—surfaces like the nightstand, dresser, and bathroom counter weren’t wiped, leaving drink and toothpaste rings behind. Beds were far too stiff, pillows too soft, and neither of us slept well, waking with sore necks. Staff were polite when approached, but otherwise avoided eye contact and rarely greeted us, which felt unwelcoming. Carpets felt dirty, water ran scalding even on “cold,” and the door appeared previously tampered with. The jacuzzi and slide both showed rust and wear; they need refinishing. The parking area had coffee cups sitting on pillars for days without being cleared. The bathroom wallpaper is peeling and makes the space look dated. Small touches were also missing: complimentary bottled water is standard in most hotels now, and with the rates charged, it should be included. For context, we paid less at the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto for a spacious, elegant room with a king bed, and staff there remembered our names. The positives: parking was included, and the front desk attendant was warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay.

Overpriced for how outdated this place was, the bathroom and corner shower was so tiny and moldy it was disgusting. Thought it would be way nicer with how it looks outside and just being in Canmore in general. Would not recommend. The TV channels are limited with cable as well, no smart TV.

The property is right beside a train track and all night long it sounds like a train going through your room. Very loud noises could constantly be heard from the hallway and other doors slamming. Room smelt bad, toilet would barely flush, hot tub wasn’t hot, mold in the shower, paint in hot tub is peeling off….. Stay away!

Sewer feces came up to the bath tub through the bath tub drainage hole at least 2 times in our room # 237 in one day! We reported to the front desk who asked maintenance guy to come check. We had to ask for room change due to severe health hazard issue. They should close this room immediately. Our room was downgraded from king suite to regular room.

The room was clean, staff were very nice and welcoming. The only issue is that the location was very noisy due to being near the train track. The room itself also have thin walls and doors, so noises from the hallway and neighbors can be heard all day and nights.

We were lucky to get a grey door room, meaning the interior was newly updated in comparison to a bunch of the other rooms that were still OG finishing. The original finished rooms are still solid but the updated rooms are a treat. Be sure to pay the extra to stay on the mountain side vs the train side of the hotel.

So many things were great. The staff, cleanliness, hospitality, food and location. The negatives were a few, but important. The bathrooms very poorly designed, but plenty of hot water. The mattresses and pillows were lumpy, making for poor sleep. The lighting was meager.

Perfect location to banff. The rooms are the size of two hotel rooms with lots of extra room for table/chairs. You end up with two bathrooms!!

Great venue, our only complaint was the bed. It slide away from the wall constantly and didn’t seem to have enough support from below so you constantly rolled into the centre. Breakfast buffet was a great value. Staff were super friendly

Terrible experience at this hotel. I paid $440 for a double twin bed the first night and $320 for a king bed the second night. I asked the front desk if we could be transferred to a king bed for the first night, but they refused unless I paid an extra $14 to move into a different king room — and I’d still have to switch rooms again the next day. We ended up sleeping crammed in one bed because our toddler cried and wanted to sleep between us. Despite explaining our situation, the staff showed no flexibility or consideration. For the price I paid, I expected better service. Other hotels would have waived the small fee, but this place chose greed over guest comfort. Definitely not worth the money.

The staff was great, at the front desk and the cleaners. The room was wonderful, the views amazing. The pool and slide provided hours of entertainment for our granddaughter. Wonderful location. It was easy to get to shops, trails or Hwy 1. We’d love to come back! Canmore Inn made our first trip to Banff National Forest very memorable and relaxing!!

We loved the close proximity to the small shops and restaurants we didn’t have a car and we walked to the store. We loved the small town atmosphere. The breakfast was well done fast and delicious. We loved the idea of the grab n go bags for when you are heading out for excursions. Mountain view was perfect. It took a few nights to get used to the train but I knew before we came it was there. Staff were friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. We are so happy that we stayed in Canmore inn and suites great place to stay.

First of all the staff were quiet rude and discriminating towards us. We stayed 2 nights and there wasn't any drinking water on the second day. Drinking station was out of order. When we asked we were told get the water from washroom very rudely. Next day morning there was a white family with 2 kids asked for water in the feont desk and boom ..they gave them fresh water bottles in front of us. Btw the front desk lady was different this time. But still it was so shocking to see. Secondly the maintenance of the facility is sub par below average .. After the rain , our room started dripping from the ceiling and all our.cloths became wet. Bathroom lock was broken twice in 2 night stay. Climax of all, when I sent the feedback via text to them , the same lady who told us tondrink water feom washroom called ans said she wants to make up for things right and offered food voucher .. she didn't apologize or any vfriendly at all .. she just said she wants to amke things right and offered nreakfast voucher. It was intimidating and I refused and vacated the room that day. Think twice before you book in this below average hotel. Go somewhere but definitely worth staying canmore as the city itself very beautiful equivalent to Banff

The mountain view was simply superb. Breakfast included. Lots of shops nearby. Easily accessible. Plenty of parking. 20-minute drive to Banff downtown.

Everything that this place was fine. The breakfast is mediocre but it's good enough to get going for the day. They do have juice and fruit and cereal options. Just the hot food is kind of whatever. The staff are great, the rooms are clean. Just really nothing to complain about.

Had a fantastic stay in Canmore. It was centrally located for us and has easy access to a food store and a quick walk downtown. Everyone was super friendly and the perk was the breakfast buffet, which for $10 was a perfect breakfast with eggs, sausage & bacon,pancakes & waffles, hash browns, etc..
