Cambria Hotel Columbus - Polaris

We were very disappointed with our stay at Cambria hotel. First, the description and photos were very deceiving on the website. The rooming and entire facility was mediocre. The hotel was out of towels, and we went to take showers and the soap dispenser was empty. We then went to turn up the thermostat to 70 because it was a bit cool that night and it smelled like a fire so we got scared and turned it completely off. My children wanted ti use the pool ( one of the reasons we chose this location) and it was very nasty. The water was so murky and cloudy and had white foam suds on top. The girl at the desk told us they had no towels and were just OUT. Proceeded to use the gym then and two machines were broken… and rest were old and dirty. We heard so many others complaining in the hallways and common area. They said food was offered and breakfast.. nothing. Everything was closed the entire time we were there. DO NOT recommend. We could not wait to leave. They had no staff working it seems. One guy at the desk and he kept taking smoking breaks outside.

The room hadn't even been swept, the room was beyond dusty, and the shower had mold in it. Then the hot tub was concreted in and no one told us about it being under construction. My kids were devastated, and the pool was freezing cold. Then the last straw was that the breakfast from all the pictures wasn't even real, in fact breakfast wasn't included at all.

For the price we paid for this stay we were immensely disappointed! Our room smelled awful upon checking into the room, the toilet & sink in the bathroom were broken, as well as tiny ants all over the bathroom floor., the hot tub was roped off even though we called multiple times prior to our stay to confirm it was in working order & we’re told it was. The swimming pool water was a greenish tint which reaked of chlorine chemicals. Woke up to more tiny ants crawling all over the bathroom & bedroom area. Breakfast which was also one of the amenities we booked at the Cambria for said they were no longer serving breakfast in the mornings. Awful awful experience for paying $300 for one night! Notified the front desk of all of this & he handed me. business card with the managers email address to contact them with complaint.

Pull out couch had old bedding on it, nowhere to plug in a type-c charger, entryway light to the room was out, advertised restaurant? Closed. Bar? Also closed. The only saving grace was the pool. Took my girls down in the morning before checkout and it was also closed. I booked this hotel as a mother's day night away with my 2 small children because it had a restaurant, a bar, and a pool. Those were my 3 main reasons for booking. Looks were definitely deceiving, as it is a nice looking facility.

We booked this hotel because it stated it had an indoor pool and hot tub. When we arrived, the pool was closed. It did open the next night, but the hot tub was filled in and permanently closed. There were no towels in the pool area. After we unpacked, the air conditioner in our room quit working. They did move us to another room. The laundry room was closed as well. Our stay wasn’t completely terrible, but we won’t stay here again.
