Cute place but needs a little TLC The place was hotel Beló and was acquired by Wyndham. I'm guessing not long because there are thinks that still say belo. The rooms were clean. The pools were great. The restaurant hs great food and the service is amazing. It just needs some TLC to be brought up to Wyndham standards

We had a fantastic stay at this resort could not fault it, food was amazing, beautiful location and staff always helpful especially Hugo! Our only concern was the shower it was exposed for everyone to see.

This is, by far, the worst “resort” I have ever stayed at. The food options are terrible – what they call a meal is basically a sample size, so you have to order everything twice just to feel like you ate. Pool and bar service are equally awful; my son asked for a simple mixed drink and they told us they “couldn’t mix them,” then handed him two separate drinks with two plastic straws. At a beach resort. In 2026. Poor turtles, seriously. The “beach” is laughable – it’s tiny, and the water is ankle-deep. There were zero activities or events, nothing going on, and they nickel-and-dime you for every little thing. We were even denied a basic welcome drink and given a single bottle of water instead. The only competent part of the entire stay was housekeeping. I’m a Wyndham Rewards card holder and I am absolutely shocked this is their standard. The “mini bar” was a joke: one bottle of water, no colas, no beer, nothing stocked the way a resort advertises. Walking away from this place, my only real question is how much longer this property can stay in business operating like this. Save your money and your time – go literally anywhere else.
