Sign outside of hotel said "new rooms, indoor pool, jacuzzi tubs, etc." It was nice that we could check in a little early howver the pool was out of service. We had two little girls that wanted to swim, so i asked for a jacuzzi tub room and they graciously did allow for the upgrade. Once we got into our room, it was very HOT inside, windows in the hallways of the hotel were open. The closed pool area was not locked and open doors to maintenance rooms in the hallway were exposed. Unsafe......there was a crack above our ac unit in our room, and even opon turning our air to 56 to cool, our room stayed fairly warm (temps felt above 74) the jacuzzi tub had broken wood pieces that our toddler could easily injure herself on just by walking by. The room felt dirty eith wrinkled top sheet covers, stains on the seated chair. We were a family of 4 and had only 2 bath towels. Breakfast area, the milk smelled sour and there were throws placed iver top of the couch chairs in the room. Definitely needs upgraded to a more clean/safe environment.

The staff person was friendly at check in and out. The pool was not working. You should have a message on Expedia to that affect. Some people book for the pool! I feel sorry for the young boys baseball team that just wanted a pool after their long hot day. The breakfast was Continental, nothing hot except a waffle. The rating may be lots higher than the competitor in their area but this hotel isn’t necessarily worth the extra money. When I’m paying a higher price it better have a working pool and a hot breakfast!! Do better!!

There was Ants in our hotel room,the cable didnt work the 3 days we where there for no microwave in our room had to go to the main lobby for that the pool was closed when we there the whole time paid alot of money for the 3 days and it was very disappointing

Lighting over mirror/sink dressing area was too dark to see well. There was no running hot water at sink and cold trickled out PARKING LOT WAS HAZARDOUS....there was ice and snow from days prior that was not removed; every parking pace had snow and ice and the lot was not cleared.

For $75 a night I already knew I wasn't staying in luxury. Plus the nightly government rate is $110 in Southern Illinois. When I got into the room it was cold as the heater had not been on prior to my arrival. They're also still using the older heaters that aren't thermostat controlled.This was during the snow storm of Jan. '25. Also had to roll my suitcase through the snowy parking lot. The desk in the room was about to fall apart and wasn't going to be very useful for doing work on. However, I fixed the desk or I finished putting it together. Not sure which but I can certainly say I left it better than I found it. My first night there I was starled awake by the sound of some sort of electronic beeping that sounded like it was in my room but I was unfamiliar with the sound. As I got closer to finding the source, the beeping stopped. I forgot my key as I was leaving the room the next morning. When I returned in the evening I explained that I forgot the key to my room, in my room. I was given a new key to use. I tried using the key and it would not unlock my door. However, every time I tried to use that key and it's not working, it's now making the same electronic beeping I heard at the 0400 hour that woke me up. I do not know for certain that someone may have attempted to enter my room. The door(s) at the rear of the building are not secured. You didn't need a room card to enter the building as one was not secured and the other with a sign 'use other door'.

Stayed here for 3 nights while in town for a funeral. Slept amazing as beds were comfy. Staff was friendly at check in. Room was clean. Shower was nice and hot. Did not have a guide for the cable channels anywhere that I could find. Pool was empty and out of order. Main reason I chose this hotel was pool. Even has pool on front sign. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

We booked this hotel approximately two months prior to staying there. We chose this hotel for our family stay because of the nice pool. Was informed when we got there when it’s too late to cancel and find a new hotel that it wasn’t working. No prior notification to alert us of this. Door going into hallway did not close properly, had to be slammed shut or it would not latch, coffee pot did not work, cleaning staff took all opened complimentary toiletries but did not replace them. I could not even wash my hands after going to the bathroom because they took my bar of soap and did not replace it. Cleaning staff left a used towel on the hook behind the door from the previous people. Staff at check in was rude. Breakfast barely had any options. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Exit door downstairs was broken and could not be used.

It was just not clean we arrived to a pile of dirt in front of door including a used q-tip and old food a food wrapper laying in the hallway dirt everywhere and found a burn hole in the comfotor. Top the heating unit broke off.

Our mattress was not just worn, but worn out with Deep sinkholes on both sides. It should be thrown out. Black mold all along back edges of shower bottom. No parking due to an Event. Sign is misleading on breakfast items. Carpet needs cleaning in the room and curtains repaired or replaced. Staff was very cordial and pleasant.

It was a great hotel gor the price. The bathtub was slippery and scared me a bit getting out as i am elderly. Thank God for the grab bars. The bed was too tall a and hard for me to get into, but comfortable once there.

Inside lock mis aligned. Tv would not turn on . Toilet would not flush. Saturday morning attendant was sullen. Two electrical plugs would not work. We were locked out of our room, needed a master to get in. Glitch in the electronic lock system. No access for 24 hrs. Don't know why I am doing this, will never hear from anyone regarding this. Have stayed here many times before, it was never this bad. Wun't stay here again.

room was fairly clean. Hair dryer broken. Carpet wrinkled didn't have another suit to moves us too. No replacement for hair drier. Bed was comfortable and linens were clean.

Very poorly staffed. One person working the front desk customer service, the dining area, the whole place. The free continental breakfast is very very small and not much offered. Most items were very low and running out. Carpet was dirty and gave you the feel that the place is going downhill.

Right next to I-57.... Super Easy to find. The girl at the front desk was very helpful and super sweet even after dealing with the super impatient / irritable customer in front of me. The blackout curtain in my room was jacked up but I was to tired to fiddle with it so I just put a paperclip on it to hold it together but that's my only complaint. Bathroom was very clean. Ample car parking but I didn't notice anywhere to park big trucks with trailers or semi's but I also didn't look that hard. There were semis parked across the street in another lot but I think that was attached to the other hotel. I found a larger spot near the dumpster that was wide enough for my F-550. There is a convenience store and a Applebee's across the street within easy walking distance.

Our stay was to include a continental breakfast, but they were out of everything. Nothing to drink but coffee, no fruit, no yogurt, very little pastries/bread, and it was not restocked the next day either. The waffles were gross. The pool was cold and smelled like people were smoking in there.

Old hotel with mid 2000's makeover. Read 'continental breakfast' as 'No protein'. I.e., 2 bagels with butter (no cream cheese). Should have taken more photos. Used wash cloth' hanging from the shower head maybe they were trying to wash down the sand left in the tub. All in, I wasn't out much money, but should have stayed elsewhere.
