Easy access to all the main attractions- parliament/senate, close to Gatineau, etc. Safe facilities with good amenities- close proximity to restaurants, grocery stores, gym and laundry onsite, stove and full size fridge, dishes, and other small appliances, etc. I just wished there was parking in the actual property. We had to park at the other Sonder property (Rideau). It’s close enough, but it would have been more convenient to have parking on the actual property for convenience of luggage drop off, etc. Otherwise, we had a good experience in this well-equipped apartment.

The staff on the reception desk were very friendly. The room had a small kitchen area which we found useful just to have a light breakfast there before going out for the day. There was a quiet room near the lobby we could use if wanted and we sat there while waiting for our Uber to take us to the airport. We would stay there again if ever we were back in Ottawa.

Brilliant for a few days in Ottawa. So central but quiet and relaxed. We lived the kitchen and facilities like laundry. Camt recommend highly enough and i would definitely stay here again!!

Wir hätten uns gewünscht, dass der Müll regelmäßig aus dem Zimmer genommen wird. Bei Selbstverpflegung fällt ja doch etwas an. Ansonsten netter Service (wenn vor Ort), Klimaanlage war etwas laut, man hat die Straße etwas gehört (hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon zur Straße). Ausstattung war vorhanden (Kaffeemaschine, Toaster, Wasserkocher, leider kein Salz und Pfeffer, was wir als Grundausstattung angesehen hätten). Fitnessraum war zweckmäßig ausgestattet).

Rolm was clean and tidy. Bed and pillows very comfortable. In very central location, brilliant for exploring and everything so walkable. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Gteat laundry facilites in the basement and nice lounge, quiet room and games room. Few maintemance issues that we flagged to staff. All in all very good.

Great place to stay downtown Ottawa. I parked at the NCA which was surprisingly affordable. Walkable to all the sites, good shopping and restos nearby. Room was great but the second elevator was out of service. Had to walk down nine flights of stairs after not being able to get on two rides by. Not a big deal for me but not ideal. Still, recommend!

The room was more spacious than i thought from looking at pictures, which was great. Room was clean & comfortable. Lots of room for our bikes in the room.The gym was perfect. Staff was excellent.Although no parking on premises, we had no problem finding parking nearby at reasonable rates. During our stay, we had a medical emergency, and the staff was very helpful, kind and quick to react. Highly recommend.

Very Clean and well stocked. Issues with the TV were a pain. You can't just turn it on and get access to programming. You need to cycle through the HDMI inputs to make it work. Even after the IT dept came to my room and said they had fixed it I still had to do it after they left. This issue needs to be fixed asap as most people don't understand how to get this to happen. I also got locked in the parking garage when my door code stopped working. There is no number to call so luckily i was communicating via text and they gave me a new code. There is no emergency exit which is disturbing. The staff were excellent though.

The staff were excellent!! My issues are other things. The room was mostly clean, just some crumbs under the chairs and whatnot that got missed. The bed didn’t have a top sheet, it was just the bottom sheet and a duvet which is weird. The essentials bar didn’t have any feminine products either and when I asked at the front desk they couldn’t provide one either. The second elevator was also down the entire time I was there, and I got an email the day after I checked out saying it was down. Just a bit behind on the communication.

The room was not clean when I checked in. The bed was not made. It looked like someone just woke up from there and left. The hotel mistakenly charged me again even though I fully paid via Expedia. It then took me another 1.5 hrs to rectify the situation to get the refund of the duplicated charge. I will not return to this hotel.

We got back to the hotel at about 11:30pm and were about to go to sleep when we noticed a ton of blood stains on the blankets and sheets. It was disgusting and I had already gotten into the bed before noticing. It was difficult to get ahold of anyone for help. Eventually they did get us into another room for the night. The whole room seemed like it had not been cleaned as well

A nice property with a kitchenette, balcony, and sitting area which was close to restaurants, attractions, etc. A very walkable area. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. However, the bathroom was not very clean and could use some minor renovations.

Loved the self-service of the complete process from check-in to check-out. Concept is great, but facilities are so so. Quite a bit dodgy and run down, towels had stains everywhere, cleanliness was mediocre - there were old contact lenses (from someone else) glued to the night stand, probably still there, but couldnt be bothered to bring this up as we only stayed for 1 night and as always, staff can only do so much. Appreciated the generosity re. use of laundry facilities (FOC incl. detergents). Staff on site was super friendly and very helpful. Would not book again.

Nice stay, the building is calm and clean. Staff is friendly and nice. I would definitely consider this place on my next visit to Ottawa. Our bedroom’s windows were close to the neighbouring buildings but that’s what it is when downtown. You just shut the blinds and that’s it! Great choice considering the cost.

My stay here was disappointing. The room assigned was in poor condition, and noise from the outdoor ventilation system continued throughout the night. Property situated in good area, close to main attractions. The use of your mobile phone as a key was very helpful avoiding the need to memorise the pin. Room was spacious with all expected amenities. Our room was located on the second floor and next to a courtyard. It was rather noisy, but thankfully it settled and we were able to get some sleep. The tv was also not opposite the bed, but off to the right, which made viewing uncomfortable.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, very clean, quiet, close to Parliament Hill, museums, Rideau Canal, restaurants, shopping, public transit, etc. My only complaint would be about the WIFI that was very, very slow

Liked that every room has a kitchenette. Was a nice surprised, but didnt plan for that option. Rooms were clean and modern. Disappointed the beds are NOT a queen. They are all double beds!! This was misleading and uncomfortable. Also be aware most rooms look into someone elses room. You have blackout blinds, but not privacy blinds. So theyre either closed and dark during the day, or looking over at someone else changing!

the unit was overall clean, but the check in process with codes and apps and there is a front desk, is really stupid. just check people in, you have staff. the staff were embarrassed that we are bombarded with links and codes when they just end up helping anyway. the room was clean but the shower was low quality and low pressure. not what you'd expect with the marriot name attached

Have stayed at Sonder properties in the past and love the easy in and out. This is located within 10 minutes walk to restaurants, shopping, and all the parliament buildings. The room was larger than expected, bed super comfy and quit in the evening. We stayed three nights and never took an Uber or bus. Everything we wanted to see was no more than a 30 minute walk. Location is outstanding.

Easy access to all the main attractions- parliament/senate, close to Gatineau, etc. Safe facilities with good amenities- close proximity to restaurants, grocery stores, gym and laundry onsite, stove and full size fridge, dishes, and other small appliances, etc. I just wished there was parking in the actual property. We had to park at the other Sonder property (Rideau). It’s close enough, but it would have been more convenient to have parking on the actual property for convenience of luggage drop off, etc. Otherwise, we had a good experience in this well-equipped apartment.

Property was very prompt in responding to questions prior to check-in and all staff were very friendly and helpful. Team member on Monday night provided a couple of excellent restaurant recommendations and shared a list of other restaurants in the area. The storage lockers for luggage that remain accessible after checkout were a great bonus since I had meetings all day amd my train didn't keave until 6 so this saved me lugging my suitcase to meetings. This was my 4th stay at a Sonder and definitely my favourite so far.

The staff on the reception desk were very friendly. The room had a small kitchen area which we found useful just to have a light breakfast there before going out for the day. There was a quiet room near the lobby we could use if wanted and we sat there while waiting for our Uber to take us to the airport. We would stay there again if ever we were back in Ottawa.

Comfortable bed and pillows. I even had a small kitchen with full size stove and fridge. A few doors down there is an Olly Fresco store selling all sorts of cooked food options so if you don’t want to cook pop in here as it looked very good

Really close to everything! Walk to Byward, parliament and restaurants. Hotel has a coffee maker, kettle, pots and pans so you can save some money on a few meals and eat in at the hotel.

Everything was fantastic. The biggest complaint was the one single light in the bathroom. Which is not that big of a deal. Other than that I would highly recommend staying there.

They do recommend several options that are about 2 blocks away at a cost of $20-28/day. Overall the service and hotel were fine, but I felt blindsided by the additional parking costs and would've likely gone with another place had I known.
