Our room had to be changed 2 times after we checked in (as the rooms were not even close to clean) and pool was closed for 2 days (it was a factor for us to choose this place) I have a photo of what the toilet looked like but I’m not going to share (can do if necessary)

The stay was good. JAMEL at the front desk was attentive to our needs, and exercised a strong commitment to meeting and satisfing customers needs. THANK you Jamel! Overall the property is nice, easy- fast - access to Busch Gardens (about 10 miles) -appearing to be partially complete in a apparant rennovation upgrade, with options like the game room currently to be filled, and no pool yet available. Summary - good for a clean no thrills value stay, with potential. Thank You!

Very poor management very rude and unprofessional. We were tenants over 30 days and was late in the day with the payment, she wouldn't give us a break and ultimately tried to put us off the property without taking proper legal action. She called the police on us and everything and she was wrong and the officer let her know she was wrong. She never apologized either.

The security doors were broken or missing. Spider webs and broken window locks and parts around windows. The rug was newish but felt like we were staying in a unsecured barn . Drug use was evident with the smell of weed in the air . No elevator in the second barn building we were put in . Each day had to get my door card redone for faulty electrical issues. Front desk at the main real hotel building was very combative over this issue. Not worth the savings for lack of security and unsafe conditions. Do not book ever please !

Staff was friendly and willing to help. The place is under construction/remodeling. They were flexible and willing to make my stay more comfortable but the of the rooms should not be rented out if some amenities are not working due to the remodeling.

We had high hopes based on photos that this would be a reasonable visit. Never expected perfect, but at least clean and operational. The check in lounge seemed decent. But the room? The floor was so dirty I'm unsure it had been mopped anytime in the last month, we had to clean it to assure our pet could walk on it without getting sick. There was rotting previous tenant garbage under the sink and the television was stuck on a loading screen that didn't respond to any button on the remote. The room had a lingering stench of cigarette smoke the entire visit. We are thankful we had our own blankets and pillows, I can only imagine how well anything else was maintained. This was a one night stay and it would have been too much of a hassle on our tight timeline to get a new room or have someone come clean it so we did it ourselves to be sure we were not late to our appointments in town. But it was absolutely was disgusting, we should have known better with Red Roof. Lesson Learned.

After 5 minutes, we checked out, got a refund and found a different hotel. Our room was disgusting and dirty. There were dead bugs, spiders and roaches on the floor. Hair and stains on the sheets. The floor was not clean.

We stayed here for a weekend and we had roaches in our room, the floor in the bathroom had dirt boot marks, the toilet did not flush, the shower did not drain, there was no trash can, the refrigerator stopped working. When we went to complain we waited for over 30 minutes for someone to come to the front desk. We stayed because we had nowhere else to go but I definitely want some type of compensation. I have pictures and everything

Centipedes everywhere in the hallways, bedroom, and outside. Lots of dead cockroaches in the refrigerator. Also on the towels. Mold everywhere in the shower. I wiped down a nightstand and the wet wipe came out black. The sheets were heavily and badly stained. Also the mold was leaving a heavy odor in the room.

These rooms were dirty!!!! It smelled horrible here. It was dog hairs in the AC unit and all over the place. Rooms had roaches and the bed sheets were not changed They had long hairs a stains on them. The floors were sticky. I and had to spend time and money from my vacation to wash the bed sheets. Then I had to buy cleaning supplies and bug spray from walmart just to keep stuff from crawling on us. Alot of people live here permanently. There was alot of yelling and fighting and dogs barking!!! All hours of the night. Police needed to be called. Never again will I stay at any Red Roof Inn. This is not a clean or safe place for children to stay at either!!!

Room smelt like bleach, no towels on arrival, the bedsheets were covered in dog hair, the paint in the bathroom was peeling off the ceiling bad, and the dressed in front of the TV was broken with the front of the draw just sitting on top. Not to mention the entire outside of this place smelt like marijuana.

We reserved a room for 4 for a long weekend, but only 3 of us to travel. 2 full beds n a couch: bed was small for 2 and unstable and moving, bcs bed frame was smaller n not stick with a bed. My friend had to sleep on the couch. Room was covered by heavy and strong smell of smoking. Restroom door could not closed in a right way for better privacy; no room service nor change towels and bin. Microwave was stained n lost a rack for heat. Horrible customer service: Staffs were not friendly, nice, and welcome you. Terribly and embarrassingly, night and day staff referred us to Comfort Inn next door to get breakfast and hot water event we emphasized/checked with them that we did not stay there, which one of them affirmed that they had a connection with them for breakfast. When Comfort In's Staff double checked with them when we were on their lobby, they got back to tell us like we were a liar. That was extremely embarrassing!!! When we confronted with a night staff, who was also working in morning Sunday now, she said she heard her Manager told her that. She didn't even say apologize to us. They set up hot water at their lobby for fun. We couldn't take for the third cup for coffee/tea in the morning, then a day Staff also referred us to Comfort Inn again. So, we hope no one experiences thing like this during your stay/trip with family or friends!

I rate it a three because the TVs barely work and WiFi is SUPER slow. They gave us a dirty room and then gave the room to my mother in law two days later and it was still dirty.

It was ok except for the TV didn't work. After talking to the desk manager it did not get fixed. On the second day it did not get fixed. She told me that she would say something to the manager about us having an unsatisfactory stay. That did not happen either. Needless to say we will not be staying at this hotel chain again.

Stayed in a dog friendly room. The room itself was clean but the hallways were coated in smoke. We were in a room by the stairs and kept hearing people go in and out all night. Overall not bad once you were in the room, however, our TV also only worked on one channel and the remote was broken. We got there at 10pm so it was fine but would have been annoying if we had arrived sooner.

This isnt 2nd time staying at this hotel and have 1 more booked. 1st stay was excellent. This trip had some inconvenient issues. Water issues before we got there. Thankfully we were only without water for a few mins once we got there. Fridge and microwave didnt work (they did come right in and fix it) This room was not as clean as our 1st stay. Was not given the room i booked, and i was still charged initial price. (Booked room with 2 king size beds, was given smaller room with 2 full size beds, there was a price difference when i booked online ) Beds were very uncomfortable and made noise every time we moved at night Came back to hotel on day 2 to find out our keys were not active. Had to go back to the desk to reprogram them All minor inconveniences, but when driving 12 hours one way and limited time to see our soldiers, it took valuable time and energy away from more important things and caused frustration

The entire room had been completely remodeled except the mattress which was very uncomfortable so we didn’t get an entire nights rest the whole weekend. The people in the room next to us were very noisy late at night and early in the morning which kept waking us up and making our dogs bark but other than that the stay was pretty good not to far from malls,stores,restaurants,Yorktown,& Williamsburg which are great places for shopping and dining.

There was no stay here although they did put me up in their "sister" property next door. After a 22-hour day, I arrived to check in to my reserved room. I was initially told they were full. Then I was asked if I needed two beds. Then they found one room but it was a smoker room which I declined. They found another but it didn't have a TV. But upon entry it was obvious that it hadn't been cleaned since the last use - dirt, trash in the trashcans, towels strewn about the room and bathroom, bed unkempt. I went back to the desk and they moved me across the "street" to another hotel - same clerk/attendant was the only person there for BOTH properties. She got me a room (TV didn't work) but used her passkey to get me in. I didn't have a key so once I left the room I was locked out - a small inconvenience that didn't come into play.

I did NOT like arriving after checkin time & finding that they did or did not have a room ready.1st room assigned, 111, I think, became unavailable because not ready but it showed ready in their computer. Staff discussed this among themselves. I eventually was given room 201. I did NOT like being awakened at 2:50AM by someone tapping on my door telling me I had to move from the room, some such nonsense, he seemed under impression I was not in the right room. I told him about confusion at checkin, he left. 2:10 AM? Huh? I had a 5 hour drive in the morning and I had to endure being awakened because someone on staff had made an error in scheduling, room assignments, names, whatever? When I told the woman on duty this AM as I left at a little after 8AM, she didn't seem especially concerned. Facility is fine, my experience was awful. Perhaps a review of scheduling, record keeping is in order.

The guy at the front desk was very disrespectful to me from the moment i walked in then continued to tell me he was going to cancel my booking and i could get my money back by contacting the third party i booked with once i contacted third party they told me they had to contact the hotel and then the guy at the hotel tells them i never showed up so basically he was disrespectful to me, stole my money and lied.

I’m not even sure where to begin. I came with my parents, we booked two separate rooms under two separate names. The first rooms we were put in smelled so strongly of cigarettes, so we asked to change rooms. Then when we switched rooms, they gave my parents a room that someone was in. It was not cleaned, TV was on, so they had to switch again. There was yelling and screaming and doors banging all night. They did nothing to make up for the fact they gave my parents a used room. Then, we decided to move hotels, so I went to return my key by myself. In the lobby, another guest cornered me in front of check-in and started catcalling me and the frost desk clerk just looked and said nothing. Horrible stay, wouldn’t reccomend to anyone trying to get a good nights rest or stay safe.

People live at this property! We were told this is an "extended" stay hotel. There was a guy barely able to stand up intoxicated leaning on the front door. Our room was dirty. No towels, stains on blankets and sheets, black dust coming out of AC unit. TV remote broken, leak in bathroom ceiling, room smelled like marijuana and dirty feet. Our second room was the same except kids and adults were screaming all hours of the night. People in parking lot lurking around cars in and out of the woods all hours of the night. No safe parking. Maintenance and front desk lady said that people live here and it is an extended stay hotel.

One of the best Red Roofs I've stayed at in a while. Not much in the area for food/shopping/entertainment etc, however it's only a short easy drive to find. Staff was very kind. Rooms were updated and clean. Bed was a little uncomfortable and noisy but there's really no bed as comfortable as your own. The hotel was very clean and smelled clean as well. We will definitely stay here again.

Clean and had everything you might need for one night stay. The other guests were pretty loud at 1am. They do not provide breakfast at the time I stayed. Also, the pool was closed for repairs.

Had to drive through construction site to enter building. Some areas are being worked on while staying there. Very polite staff, no dinning, no coffee(the staff sent us to walk to another hotel that was nearby for coffee).

No breakfast offered. No elevator. Due to the type of box springs it squeaked when turning no maid service so trash and towels piled up. Then what do I expect for the price.
