Lobby appeared to be clean. I knew it was a smoking room because the attendant told me it was. We got to the room and noted carpet had a lot of debris. We pulled back blanket and noted burn holes in the blankets and a lot of hair. I tried to use a towel to sweep it off but the more I tried the more I found. There appeared to be mold under caulking at the bathroom sink. We did not spend the night there. I have yet to get our money back. When I checked in the attendant told me we got the last room. When we told him we were leaving and asked for a refund he offered another room. We declined. The last thing wasn't terrible, you could see on the wall that it had been patched and not repainted.

The room was filthy. The bedding had stains on them. There was food and dirt all over the carpet. The room stunk and had dead AND alive beetles and roaches in the room. I immediately checked out and refused to stay there. I would not recommend anyone staying here.

The moment I opened the door to my room, it was immediately clear that no amount of sleep deprivation could make this acceptable. The condition of the room was genuinely shocking — not in a “budget hotel, manage your expectations” way, but in a “this should not be rented to human beings” way. Everything looked worn beyond the point of no return: the kind of wear that tells you maintenance hasn’t been a priority in years, not months. I travel enough to know the difference between a place that’s modest and a place that’s neglected. This was neglect. I didn’t unpack a single item.
