The room was fine. It was one of there newly renovated rooms. There was no hair dryer in the room, which you normally would see. The breakfast was only minimal take and go due to renovation. No pool open. Wish we would have been informed ahead of time of renovation, so we could have stayed elsewhere with a pool. It should be a beautiful place when renovations are done.

I reserved a room for my pregnant granddaughter and her husband for their 1 year anniversary. I thought I had got a room with a jetted tub so they could relax but I guess I didn't. When she checked in there was a sign on the counter saying ' the pool was closed for RENOVATION...' I said what bad timing because here in Michigan it was Dream cruise weekend, the middle of August and hot! One of the workers behind the desk ( I'm sorry I did not get her name) said it was not being renovated but she chose to close it for maintenance waiting for the pool person and said it was supposed to reopen. I guess it did but the problem is the front desk said the sign was never up in the first place. I went up in person the next day and was told someone would call me...that didn't happen. So in conclusion I will not use Expedia to rent a hotel room again because it seems they don't believe you unless you take pictures for proof.

The property is under construction. No pool, no breakfast, no gym Expedia website defaulted to dates I didn't want after I changed my dates. I changed dates looked at room, looked at another room, selected and booked, Expedia returned to default dates after me looking at second room. I ended up paying double for a room at a place under construction without amenities I paid for. I am about as opposite to happy customer as you can get. This experience makes me sick.

Checking in was very smooth. But the pool was closed even though I called and they said it was open. No bathtub just a shower whichs sucks and the water pressure was not good. Bed was way comfy and check oit eas smooth and fast.

My husband and I stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Waterford, MI for 5 nights. The hotel was clean, even had mattress protectors. Housekeeping did a fantastic job. The complementary breakfast was delicious and had good variety each morning. The hotel offered a fitness room and pool. It was relatively quiet even with construction. Staff was friendly and when I asked about switching rooms because of an uncomfortable mattress, the front desk clerk was courteous and took our room number to give to the manager. That being said, my husband and I did not sleep well because the mattress was so soft there was no support. I am 5.5 months pregnant and the bed gave me horrible back, shoulder, and neck pain. It was hard to roll over and when I did the bed completely sucked you in. My husband did not sleep well during our entire stay because the mattress was too uncomfortable. When we asked if there was a better bed option, we were informed that renovations are being made to the hotel and mattresses will be replaced. However, at the time none had been and the reservations are not scheduled to be completed for another 2 years. In 2 years, my husband and I will book another stay but not until mattresses have been replaced.

The shower curtain was broken, there was a towel with a hole in it, no toiletries in the bathroom, no microwave in the room, the window curtains didn't close properly and the carpet in the room was so worn that the pattern had vanished in high traffic areas. The front staff were amazing, i did find it very difficult to talk to the cleaning staff who had to translate on their phone. Our adjourning room was incredibly loud and we didnt sleep the last night.

Nice hotel, convenient to pine knob if you’re going to see a show. Friendly staff and great choices for breakfast. The mattress in our room was way too soft, we sunk in and had trouble sleeping. Should have checked when we checked in and requested a room with a firm bed. Nonetheless would stay again.

The front desk staff was very friendly. I was happy about the cleanliness of the facility. Breakfast was good!! Beds are comfortable!!! The one thing I was VERY disappointed in .. is that there was not a microwave in our room. I was very shocked and unsatisfied. I had to go to the lobby to warm up my sons soup…@ 200$ per night I better have a microwave.

I liked that it was being remodeled at the time of our stay. So, our room was very new,clean and pulled together. The decorating was very tasteful, but minimal. The room we stayed in could have used a comfortable chair , or love seat to sit in to watch t v in the evening. I would stay there again or in other hotels that are part of the group. Breakfast was fine. Staff was friendly and polite.

There was no hot tub in the room. They removed them all so that needs to be updated. The WIFI and TV did not work as well. Staff was very nice and apologetic for the issues.

Suite was outdated and not in good condition. The sleeper sofa was old and dirty, the mattress was disgustingly stained. When I requested to have bedding installed on the sofa I was given a bag of bedding from the front desk staff. The property is undergoing long overdue renovation. Hope that it includes the rooms.

The manager was very helpful with me in regards to Expedia charging my credit card and canceling my reservation without reimbursement to my credit card. They were kind enough to find 4 rooms for my family day of our event. No thanks at all to Expedia. I do not recommend using their service.

Where do I start! This establishment was fantastic! I don’t remember everyone’s names, but let’s start with jazz from the front desk. She was absolutely awesome; she epitomized values, commitment, dedication and kindness! Our ladies who managed the yummy breakfast were just as amazing! We talked about how they are all Virgos; well Vigos rock! The EVS team was also on point! I didn’t encounter not one unfriendly face; everyone greeted you with a smile! Keep up the fantastic work and kudos to your team! I acc not say enough about this establishment….. keep on rocking!

I loved the area, the low deposit was awesome because it didn't take away from my spending! The staff was awesome!! Beds were comfortable. Only complaint was my shower was lukewarm on full blast hot water. I will definitely return! We were there for the concert at Pine Knob! Better experience than Hyatt Place all the way around!!

We had a great stay. The front desk attendants were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the quiet town that this hotel is located in. Perfect place to stay if you are in town for a concert at Pine Knob Music Theatre!
