Hampton Inn & Suites Ocala - Belleview

Stayed for 3 weeks on business while hotel was being renovated. Room keycards didn't work most of the time, no laundry facilities at hotel, in-room fridge froze everything inside with no way to adjust the temperature, electrical issues in room, just a very poor overall experience. Way overcharged for a barely functioning hotel. Definitely did not meet the expected Hampton Inn standards.

Property is under renovation. The guest rooms are finished and are modern and nice. They have a big overflow parking area which is great if you are towing a trailer or camper. Nice quiet place to stay, have stopped there many times. Street out front is under construction, once it gets done the area will be good. Traffic is kind of a hassel right now.

This hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Pillows were good. Breakfast was the usual offerings and was good. Staff was friendly and professional. Theres no business center.

The property is being renovated. Hence, the lobby was not available. The breakfast room dining was limited. The business center was not available which I had wanted to use. Unfortunately, our bathtub was not well cleaned. There were some long hairs in the tub which I believe were left from a cloth. Otherwise, the room was updated, clean and the rest of the property not under construction was clean. The front desk staff were very nice. The breakfast room staff were very nice and helpful. We would stay again after construction is done.

The breakfast is excellent. The staff is very professional and very welcoming. I was disappointed the gym hasn’t been finished. I was there in Feb and then again in May. We’re now at end of August. I would strongly recommend the gym be finished soon. Otherwise, I may need to book at another hotel from now on.

The property is undergoing a renovation, so the breakfast room is makeshift and there is no lobby seating. My room was clean and well-equipped. No complaints. I believe when they're done it will be worthy of a 5 star review.

hotel was great but its extremely noisy if you go for a swim or sit outside as the hwy is right beside you

The staff here were excellent. Very friendly. Great breakfast!!! We were in that area for Allstar softball games. It would have been great to have some washers and dryers. We had to wash uniforms every night.

The new rooms on 4 th floor were great. The breakfast and the service were amazing. Unfortunately because of the renovations going on the gym was not available. It was very nice to have access to the pool. There is new outdoor furniture. It would be nice to have more lounge chairs for poolside:

Clean. Friendly staff. Nice outdoor sitting area. Nice outdoor pool. Pet friendly with a nice grassy area for them. Close driving distance to restaurants and convenience stores. Would recommend.

It was clean at least but very outdated and up to date...furniture had stains, carpet had stains and room smelled like urine.

The staff was really nice. The hotel overall was clean however, my room did not smell good. It smelt like urine. I don't know if it was the carpet but it was unpleasant.

The room overall was ok. The bathroom floor was filthy though. Lots of hair of all types so it didn't look like it had been cleaned in a while.

The carpet was rip up so you could trip and the shower had a hole in the ceiling and a stain on bed sheet

I had a serious issue with my room #329 on July 2 2023. I booked my room thru Expedia When I opened the door to the room, it was HOT in the room, just like the hallway. I proceeded to turn on a light to inspect the room. I found the carpet was excessively warn & dirty. I continued to turn on lights and noticed the furniture in the room had large stains on them. The desk chair, sitting chair in the corner & the bench at the end of the bed. This furniture should be deep cleaned or replaced. I proceeded to the window to see my view and was overwhelmed by the MOLD growing in the window frame. The sheet rock is crumbling down. I was disgusted at this sight. I took the elevator down to the front desk for help. There was no help given. I asked for the managers phone #. I left 2 messages, for the manager, but NO return call. I have stayed at a lot of Hampton Inn hotels with no issues. This Hotel is not up to the Hampton Inn & Suites Expectation. Please contact me to discuss a refund. I am a business owner & understand the importance of reviews online. I would like to give your company a chance to solve this problem before I escalate the issue.

The place was dirty for a Hampton inn …both carpeting in room and the furniture/put down a towel in chair before sitting in it

Everything was good but, the Sofa bed and the pillows were lacking.

Incredibly noisy

i was disappointed in the bed. i always stay in hampton properties and the bed was so hard and the pillows had no support

I like this hotel due to the closeness to my daughter's home. This hotel is the nicest one in the area which is the reason we stay. Both times staying the noise is extremely loud on the back side of the property facing an area that must have a car club in the shopping center next door. Both times, the noise is so loud that the music shakes the building. Also, the WIFI wasn't working either days. The tub would fill up soon after the shower began.

Renovation in progress - that’s temporary for a few weeks. However, we got a room facing the highway and had road noise ALL NIGHT LONG! Sure wish there was a way to choose a room based on outside noise, light, etc. not much sleep!

They’re updating the hotel some expect some construction but the new rooms are beautiful!

The place was wonderful but the tv only showed one channel nbc. We went to front desk he said there was no food be around to fix it. It made the night long without tv.

We booked this as a stop over before our final destination in Gainesville. We arrived at 11:30 pm and were welcomed by Joe by name. He was so friendly and amazing, a real asset to the brand. Our room was comfortable, clean and breakfast reliably good as it always is with Hampton Inn. The only issue is they are doing serious construction on the Main Street the hotel is located on and it was hard to find the turn in. That of course is not the fault of the hote and will be temporary.

Super friendly staff and great hotel!

The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. Check in took 2 min. The entire building was beautiful, clean and smells great- even the elevator. The hotel felt very safe, I even allowed my teenage children to go the pool by themselves. Breakfast was delicious, many options.

It was a great stay. I had a situation with the bathroom and the gentlemen that helped me was outstanding and helped me out and when it couldn't be resolved moved us to another room. Great customer service. Other then that the rooms were clean.

We flew from Pittsburgh to Orlando to spend some time with family for Christmas. We spent a considerable amount of time, searching the Internet and websites for hotels that had the amenities that we were looking for. Most of the hotel prices in the Ocala area were competitive and very close in price. After vetting multiple hotels, we settled on Hampton Inn and suites located at 2075 SW hwy 484, Ocala, Fl 34473. When pulling up to the property, we observed debris, machinery, clutter everywhere outside. Once we parked and made our way to the reception desk the environment did not improve. There were common hotel areas were closed n disarray; ripped apart with debris lying everywhere; sections of the hotel lobby roped off with dust and dirt everywhere. First impulse was to walk out and get another hotel but it was already 8 PM when we arrived. I asked the front desk attendant why were we not informed that your hotel was under construction? We should’ve been given the opportunity to make an informed decision about where we wanted to stay. The attendant snapped at me saying that hotels.cm should have known and told you. The next morning I spoke to hotels.com customer service and they said that they were not informed of the situation. Hotels.com promised that they would resolve my refund request within 72 hours. 72 hours came and went and no one contacted me. 24 hours later I received an email saying that they were still working on my concerns. My stay was December 22 - 27th

Rude reception. Phone in room didn't work. Outlet by bed didn't work.

Great place to stay and close to horse park. Plenty of eating options around the area. Enjoyed our stay!

It was convenient to what I need to attend. Located very close to I75 and builder's office.

Hotel itself was fine, area sucked. Difficult access and limited restaurant options.

There was construction on the road in front of the property that made difficult the access to the hotel. The sign was located in front of a previous property that confused me.

I chose this property, because it was conveniently located and has several dining options within walking distance. The staff was friendly, helpful and check in was quick and easy. On the down side, the property itself was under going renovation and the main road was under construction. Being right next to I-75, it can be a little noisy, but it’s not too bad. The next time I’m in town, I would stay here again. Hopefully the construction will be finished by then.

Location pretty bad. Very few eating places around and those were low end chain. Highway traffic is a factor. Would not stay here again.

Our stay was very pleasant. The building was showing some age, for example, there was a fair amount of duct tape on the carpets to hold down the seams, but it was clean and respectable. Our room had plenty of space, and appropriate furniture. I loved the large shower! The choices for breakfast were very good. Too often there is only starch, I appreciated two choices of eggs, and all t he fruit!

Great breakfast

Not impressed with the free breakfast. I know should not complain about free but it is advertised as a way to get you to stay. But it is horrible. The quality and the healthiness of it is terrible

The breakfast each morning was fantastic. The kitchen area was very clean and well managed.

Booked it late at night on a road trip coming from Miami. Had no issue with the reservation, check-in was great, and they even gave us late check out without even asking since it was late when we arrived. The front desk person was amazing and so kind. The breakfast was seriously amazing, had so many options I was shocked and it was delicious. The room and building were really clean and everything was well kept. I’d happily stay here again!

I stayed here a few months ago and had a good experience so stayed again next time I was in the area. Good stay in every way again with nice breakfast!

The hotel is under construction, there where no notification to our reservation The room was not done on our first day of stay, no clean bath, no bed made we alert about the shampoo missing and we did not got a response I had to go to main front who were more diligently I ask for hand cream they could not give any This experience was no good The breakfast was no good, because of renovation Bernice Marrero
