Stayed 1 night

We extended our stay and paid premium price but had to change suites. They promised the room would be done very first thing in the morning for the transfer since they couldn’t keep us in our original king suite overlooking the creek. It is now 2:00 and have been told 3x that “our room would be ready in 20 more minutes”. Over and over. The female working just smirked because she knew she did not do anything and the man working just lied again about our room being ready. Also, the soaps and conditioner are watered down.

Great location. Staff was really friendly. Our room was nicely decorated. Bed was very comfortable. We self parked in the underground ground lot and it worked out nicely. Warm cookies in the lobby in the afternoon was a nice touch!!

Lovely hotel. Very clean and modernized. The rooms were nice. About the same as what you’d expect at an average Hilton or Marriott. Location was great. Breakfast was awesome and was a great perk of staying there. Staff was wonderful. Parking is $45/night or $60/night (valet) - just brace yourself for that added expense. If there’s anything that would keep me from coming back it was the beds. I’m a fan of a firm mattress and these beds were as soft as water beds. My wife and I actually laughed at how much we sunk into them. If you are like me and struggle to sleep on soft beds, this hotel may be tough on your sleep!

The Sitzmark is a truly special place, and we had another wonderful stay. The property is clean, charming, and perfectly suited to the character of Vail Village. The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our visit, and the location simply can't be beat—you are right in the heart of Vail Village. This property also holds a special place in my heart. My parents spent a great deal of time in Vail over the years, and I've stayed at the Sitzmark before as well, so returning here brought back a lot of great memories. There is something especially meaningful about staying somewhere that feels connected to your own history with a place. My only area for improvement would be the cost of parking. I understand parking is at a premium in Vail Village, but I would love to see it included with the stay rather than as a separate charge—without necessarily increasing the advertised room rate to compensate. Overall, though, this was a really enjoyable stay at a charming property in an unbeatable location. The Sitzmark is part of a place that means a great deal to me personally, and it was wonderful to be back.
