When we booked we were not told of the major renovations in progress. We planned on dining & watching the Matilda soccer in the dining room but we spent the evening in our room with delivered evening meal. Food was good but we would have loved to been in a bar watching the game

Great place to have a few beers and a lunch with some mates or work colleagues. $13 for a Captain Morgan and coke is a bit steap but the facility and the vibe is amazing. If ever I had to book a hotel again this will be my first choice. Staff could be a bit more friendlier.

It was excellent. The only down side was that we had to park quite a distance from the door. I think parking exclusively for accommodation guests would be a great idea.

We found mould was on our bed linen. Was given a $100 food voucher and the manager was very apologetic. Disappointed in an understatement. My daughter had day surgery on Friday on her mouth and had been in the bed and on the linen and pillows. She was sick on Saturday and is still unwell today.

I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. The staff were so tremendously nice and helpful. The room was clean and spacious with great character. There were dining options onsite and several things within walking distance to the hotel. Plenty of parking options available as well at both entrances. Would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Position of our room. Ground floor. Could not open curtains because of outlook and onlookers. Needed more lighting because of this. Mould in shower recess. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

Staff very friendly & the room was ok. Unfortunately when I put the aircon on there was a very musty smell. I don’t think the aircon filter has been cleaned in a long time. Room is a little tired & dated looking but otherwise fairly comfortable

The spa suit was absolutely stunning. I really felt confortable, just felt like home away from home. The entertainment system was also on point. Was able to connect to my Netflix and watch show on the large TV. Wifi worked flawlessly, not slow or anything. Another nice touch was the room controls by the bed where you can turn on and off lights, aircon etc right from your bed. When I'm back in Adelaide I wouldn't stay anywhere else

All the staff were super friendly and helpful, couldn’t fault them for anything. My room was on the top floor and some machinery outside, it was extremely noisy, like generators going all night.

Nice hotel, great having the bar/restaurant/gaming on site if that’s your thing. All the staff were friendly. Parking was relatively easy, could get a bit busy with the shop etc but I always found a park. Rooms were nice, clean and good bedding. The only downside was the windows were less than soundproof, so road noise was an issue - more so was the neighbours Gardner using a blower vac at midnight and 4am.

Was on the fifth floor and it sounded like a construction site from the floor above timber floors the people above me had kids running around all night the noise was shocking I will never stay on the 5 th floor again and it was a free up grade it was punishment I must say

Staff where very caring and accomodating of my post operative needs including early check in and provision of a wheelchair from reception to my room. Spacious room and bathroom. Kitchen staff accommodated my request for ice for my foot.

Check-in told us everything we needed to know about what our stay would be like. The entry way, lobby, reception, and restaurant are well designed. Duncan checked us in perhaps in the most friendly manner possible and helped us feel like we were friends even though we had just met. He even remembered us throughout our stay and if we needed anything, he didn’t even have to ask our name or room number. He recognised us after just one check-in. Our room was warm and clean and the spa tub was large with a view to television. I recommend paying for the breakfast in advance. The hotel food is actually very tasty and the restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere with friendly staff.

Charged us over 50 dollars more due to booking though wotif. Akaba make these prices. Arkaba state prices change due to whats going on on that day. Price was still cheaper direct vs wotif price on the same day. Questioned Arkaba staff about this > said we should of booked direct. Probably wont stay here again after this experience due to having stayed here multiple times previously and then to get ripped off. $$$$ OVER 180 FOR A STANDARD GROUND ROOM. Not impressed

Perfect location for our Gather Round footy trip. The staff were great. The room was great and the complimentary breakfast was awesome. Sporty’s Bar was the perfect stop for a beverage before heading into town for the game. Public transport was only a short walk. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent. Family of 3 in deluxe twin. Room v spacious. Comfy beds and pillows. Room v.quiet eventhough hotel on main road and above gaming lounge/bar area. We had a car so easy to get around, 5mins to city , bout 20mins to beaches.free self parking on premises.2 big supermarkets next door. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would recommend and would stay again.

I accept dining facilities were undergoing upgrades. No problem with that, but, as I didn't want to eat alone in Sporty's Bar, I was slugged with a $10 room service charge. Harsh! $3 to have a splash of mass-produced gravy on a schnitzel is a rip off.
