Room was clean but a little shabby, very few amenities in the room especially for the price we paid and the lift was more than a little temperamental. Staff were absolutely lovely though! We were at the back of the hotel and got an awful lot of noise from a nearby bar on 3 of the 5 nights we stayed. The cooked breakfast was excellent but the continental options were very limited- mini croissants, cereal, plain yoghurt- no fruit or anything like that. Also finshed serving quite early on weekdays- no lie-ins for us!!

The room was clean but very dated, staff were friendly, breakfast was not very warm as we stayed there 6 night's it would have been nice to have had at least 1or 2 hot ones. The car park was none existent as you were not allowed to park unless you were disabled so it cost us for 6 days in the BIC car park which came to £135.00 .

Dinner was excellent, both food and service. Bed was comfortable and everywhere was clean. The only thing that let it down a little was a very ordinary continental breakfast, with cereal packets, choice of onlygrapefruit and prunes for fruit and only croissant and toast offered.

After reading the reviews I was a little surprised, the hotel has a dated feel about it and although the breakfast was free, a new thermos of coffee arrived and it was cold. Certainly would not pay that amount again, Nearby parking that was recommended as secure wa £22.50 for less than 24 hours!

The facilities were ideal. We booked in last minute due to another booking falling through. This was directly opposite our venue, and it was central for pubs and restaurants. The hotel was clean and well presented, and the room was spacious with a TV and Tea making facilities, and an en suite bathroom. I will remember this hotel should I come back to Bournemouth.

Mit meiner 9jährigen Enkeltochter verbrachte ich 2Tage in Bournmouth, somit 1Übernachtung in diesem familiengeführten Hotel. Mit unserem Zimmer 203 im Erdgeschoss waren wir völlig zufrieden; es war alles da, was wir benötigten (incl Bügelbrett, Bügeleisen, Ventilator) und alles war sauber. Wirklich alle Personen am Empfang waren so hilfsbereit und super freundlich. Das Frühstück bestabd aus einem kleinen Buffet für Croissants, Marmeladen/Honig, Getränke, Obst. Anderes wie Full English Breakfast (auch vegetarisch) oder Eierspeisen standen auf Bestellung zur Verfügung. Spezielle Kaffeegetränke wären extra zu bezahlen gewesen. Auch hier war alles sauber und die Speisen gut. Ein zusätzliches Plus ist die absolute Nähe zum Strand, zum kleinen Ocenarium, Lokalen und der schönen Grünanlage "The Gardens" Ich würde das Hitel jederzeit wieder buchen.

C’est le pire hôtel que j’ai vu depuis 45 ans de voyage. La chambre n’est pas propre et le mobilier est complètement usé - les tapis très sales - si bien qu’on a pas déjeuner à cet endroit même si payé. Expédia devrait se dissocier de cet hôtel qui entache leur réputation.

Booked this hotel at the last minute and boy did we get a great deal. We were greeted on reception by a lovely friendly lady unfortunately I did not get her name but she was really welcoming. Our room was large and spacious, large comfy bed the view was over looking Bournemouth conference centre but step out side your room and the views our of Bournemouth pier. Bathroom with shower was spotless. Inside wardrobe was safe for personal belongings oh and an iron. Breakfast. Was help yourself to cereals juice tea coffee etc then you could have a hot breakfast I choice the vege option my partner full English both delicious. All in all a really pleasant stay. We were hoping to stay another night but unfortunately the hotel was fully booked up and I can see why.

Room was clean and spacious. I got the signature room with great view of the pier and ocean. Bed mattress could be replaced as it was quite hard and springy. Had a really good full english breakfast which was included with my online purchase. Would stay again if they upgrade mattress.

The first room was not right for me. Although a big room, mattress needed changing. Also very noisy from outdoors The staff were so helpful and changed me to hugh floor , nucer view of the sea. Very happy

I was in room 501. The room was OK but the natural light was not great. The room had two skylights and one normal window which was tucked away behind a wall. I couldn't get a picture on the TV, although the audio was working on the TV channels. It would have been helpful to have some more shelving/cupboard space around the sink as there isn't anywhere to put a personal grooming items. It was impossible to stand up in the shower due to the roof slope. This is actually quite annoying, especially in a 4 star hotel. There was a great view of the sea from the stairwell. I can't help but think this is a bit of a waste of the best aspect of the building. Breakfast was very good, especially the Eggs benedict.

I needed a quick break just before Christmas in Bournemouth. This place looks out on the pier and the big wheel. It backs onto the Square. It’s near the BIC. My room was a double with en suite. Sometimes that’s a bed you can barely squeeze around and a bathroom where you feel like you’re in a cupboard. This was spacious. The shower was average (not a big fan of standing in a bath behind a curtain) but it was fine. The carpets and decor say “utility” rather than “nice”. But it’s a bedroom. It’s dark most of the time you need it. Breakfast was included. It felt a bit like my Nan was cooking it (a bit average), but it filled the gap.

Exhaust fan noise outside the room from kitchen of seafood restaurant and smell from this too. Mattress with metal spring poking outside so had to leave hotel as cpuld not sleep in the bed. No other rooms available. No aoplogies offered. Very dismissive staff.

The Hotel was very convenient for the BIC where we were attending a Show as I have temporary mobility issues. The Hotel Staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. We really appreciated the use of the disabled parking next to the Hotel. The Restaurant Staff were also very friendly and efficient and the food excellent. Would definitely use the Hotel again.

The perfect place to stay, always a warm welcome perfect location and lovely rooms. Breakfast is always delicious and we had dinner via room service which was exceptionally good! If you’re looking for something with character, this is the Hotel for you book a king room with a view across to the pier and the water. The rooms are very spacious… and breakfast was included. It was an excellent breakfast. Order off the menu plus Continental selections as well. I would like to take the time to thank AJ he made my stay fantastic, really friendly and took the time to have a chat with you. Also, I would love to highlight that I left my passport and credit card in one of the drawers, I spoke with AJ before leaving letting him know where I was heading in Torquay. He rang ahead and left a message for me and secured my passport and credit card. I can’t thank him enough for being so caring and understanding. Highly recommend you stay here.

Loved this place. Opposite BIC so not far to go home! Hotel great communication after I altered room set up. It was exactly as I'd asked. They were so friendly, particularly on reception. Lovely large clean windows with pier/sea view. Will definitely stay again when attending BIC. Only quibble, very little choice at breakfast. Not a lot of healthy food, no fruit and coffee was odd. Cooked food was good.

We enjoyed our stay, which was just for one night (somewhere to crash after a concert). The parking arrangement at the multi-storey across the road was brilliant and reasonably priced. There’s a nice bar and restaurant on site and our room was clean and warm. Very comfy bed, too! I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was given that it’s on a busy road. We also found the staff very friendly and helpful.

I needed a quick break just before Christmas in Bournemouth. This place looks out on the pier and the big wheel. It backs onto the Square. It’s near the BIC. My room was a double with en suite. Sometimes that’s a bed you can barely squeeze around and a bathroom where you feel like you’re in a cupboard. This was spacious. The shower was average (not a big fan of standing in a bath behind a curtain) but it was fine. The carpets and decor say “utility” rather than “nice”. But it’s a bedroom. It’s dark most of the time you need it. Breakfast was included. It felt a bit like my Nan was cooking it (a bit average), but it filled the gap.

Room was clean and spacious. I got the signature room with great view of the pier and ocean. Bed mattress could be replaced as it was quite hard and springy. Had a really good full english breakfast which was included with my online purchase. Would stay again if they upgrade mattress.

Restaurant “Crab” has supposedly great reputation. It was mediocre at best. Server (and apparently cook) didn’t know difference between two fish on “special of the day.” Ordered Sea Bass-got Bream!! Included breakfast buffet was ok but I suspect no staff member has ever walked through it. Cups and plates on tables but food on buffet other side of room - no plates or cups on buffet. When asked, waiter said “they’re on your table.” Lots of Verrrrrrry strong coffee but no cups. Water for tea barely hot. Lousy!!!!

Dinner was excellent, both food and service. Bed was comfortable and everywhere was clean. The only thing that let it down a little was a very ordinary continental breakfast, with cereal packets, choice of onlygrapefruit and prunes for fruit and only croissant and toast offered.

We had a fantastic two nights stay at this hotel. The service was excellent - delicious food, brilliant varieties for breakfast - just to note not all hotels like this one offer inclusive breakfast and that was one of the reason we stayed here. The seafood was top notch and cooked to perfection - had the seabass and my partner had seabream. The room was of excellent quality and comfortable to stay in - very clean. I would definately stay here again and I would like to recommend others to do so as well. Just to add we were upgraded without asking to one of the seaview rooms which was a nice gesture as it was my partners birthday. Signed off with excellent customer service.
