Faraway Jackson Hole

The hotel is under construction and was dusty everywhere. The hotel management is not sufficiently prepared to run a hotel. There is no pool or restaurant available. There is only one elevator for the entire hotel, and it doesn't let you park in front of the hotel. You have to park in a public parking lot and walk to the hotel. There is very little professionalism and there is no cleanliness.

Paid $750 for a stay here and the had zero amenities available. When I have to pay “resort” fees for a hotel that offers literally zero amenity, that’s a rip. The hotel is under a rebuild/ remodel so spa, pool were not accessible; no restaurant available; parking was limited; nothing else was there.

Hotel was under renovation. Pool wasn’t available. No restaurant on site. Had to park far away as no spaces at hotel. No one at desk over night…had to contact sister hotel if need arose. Room itself was clean and comfortable. Had Keurig, microwave, and small fridge in room. Best part of the whole experience was Marty at the front desk everyday from 3-11. We looked forward to seeing him each day and sharing our experiences. He was always smiling, friendlly, and such a fun guy! He really made a not so ideal accommodation experience seem like not a big deal! Thanks Marty!!!

I didn’t research enough and didn’t realize the entire lodge is under renovation. Amenities were unavailable. They did upgrade us to a suite. Location of Teton Village was 10/10.

The Snake River Lodge and Spa is an adorable place in the Teton Village with lots of dining options and walkable shops. The indoor/outdoor pool is very enjoyable and we would definitely come back for longer!

Property has been remodeled and is getting outdated again… there is a nice outdoor pool spa area that had not been cleaned in months, at least, tubs not operating and trash in pool, spoke to management and they didn’t care, nothing done. David the bellman was the pillar of the property and apologized recognizing the issues.

Great location- ski and out with a free ski valet. The resort itself needs a good renovation to compete- but affordability makes up for some of that.

I loved the stay at the Snake River Lodge. Beds were comfortable, the pool was great and hot tub was clean. Love the shampoos and body lotion products they provided. What I didn't like was we got a window that looked out to a wall. We did try to swap rooms but there were no more rooms available that we could be together as a group. Just didn't expect such a beautiful place to have a room looking at a wall. Other than that, it was a great stay and would recommend it. Also close to the airport.

The pool was dirty. Our air conditioning did not work. The phone in the room did not have a cord and when told they would fix it, just handed us a cord. Definitely not worth the price we paid for the room.

The hotel is really run down! Pics are misleading! Room was dirty and worn out. More like a $50 motel on a highway! Roms are dark and gloomy. My child suffered from allergies due to dust and mold! Front desk did not show much interest in changing room or find some other accommodation. Early check out was not granted…because contract when booked did not allow it!!! Lounge water/cookies and teas were not replenished. Especially front desk personnel were giving the feeling they did not want to be there and work. Check-in was a disaster! I had to ask all the questions regarding internet, breakfast time , facilities ecc. oohh breakfast….avoid it …expensive and average food at best! We were happy to leave at the end of the vacation! If i can give an advice….do not be fooled by the internet pics …stay away! Shower was not working properly distributing warm and cold water. Bathroom sink was clogged and also was not working properly. Please do not look under the bed….unless you are searching for left overs from previous guests. Shame on the hotel operators! If anyone is allergic to chlorine ….stay away from the main lobby corridor leading to one side of the elevators….smell is potent! Rooms are not well equipped for skiers …not much place to hang jackets especially for a family of 4. Overall very disappointed especially when nothing was even attempted to assist in my son allergies! It seemed they didn’t care.

The property has a 40 mins drive to Grand Teton and we had two encounters with moose along the road, both in the early morning. It's quite amazing. The room is spacious and clean. Staff is really nice. 20 mins drive to Jackson and no lack of dinning and shopping options.

The photos online are incredibly deceiving. The pool was littered with nicotine pouches, tobacco pouches, leaves, debris, trash, etc. The inside pool area looked like a Super 8. Our room had someone else's trash in it too! Receipts, etc that did not belong to us. Not worth the $ at all. The staff was friendly though which was a plus.

The lodge is undergoing construction on much of the property, which we knew beforehand, but this did make it more difficult to drop off luggage. We found out that, even without construction, parking for this lodge and most of the accommodations in the village is in a large parking lot separate from the lodge. The room itself was very nice and clean. We could walk to get breakfast and ride the gondola.

A charming and comfortable hotel in the heart of Teton Village. The staff we interacted with were all professional and kind. Parking was easy and free. The room was clean upon arrival and housekeeping did a wonderful job of refreshing it daily. We visited the spa which was great also.

This used to be a very nice place to stay in Teton but is now just a sad reminder that when hotels decide to neglect maintenance and upkeep, it really affects the guest experience. The condition of the property is poor with the scraped up walls and dingy carpet being the most noticeable. Somebody also had the brilliant idea to cover up a bad smell with an overwhelming musk spray in the lobby and bar area. This drove us to another property for happy hour. Drakkar Noir is not a substitute for property maintenance! I love the idea of this hotel and we always enjoy Teton, but until they part with a few dollars and do what needs to be done to this hotel, we will find another place to stay.

Pillows were flat and lumpy and clearly ancient. Sheets were pilled and rough. Room is dated---stains on carpet.

Booked a room with a balcony and all you can see is the side of the next building. Complete waste of money. Also for a room with an upgraded price the bed is absolutely terrible. Very disappointed with this stay.

Excellent location with easy access to Teton NP and Jackson. Unfortunately our 3 night stay was in a basement level room that was dark, had short windows and was right next to the resort drop off location for large trucks supplying items. All night I heard the safety back up alarms as the trucks pulled in to the building. I regret that I didn’t insist on a new room!

Far out of town, very average food options, noisy rooms, high prices, and the most aggravating elevators I have ever used. All balconies are shared and public… weird. We would probably stay in Jackson next time.

The rooms are nothing like what is shown online. Rooms were small and dark, but they were clean.

This was a great property. The lighting inside the room was very dim and hard to see when getting ready, but still a great place to stay!

Absolutely amazing! From the gorgeous location & views of the Grand Teton’s & the Jackson Hole Ski Resort to the beautiful rooms…..we cannot wait to go back! The plunge tub was a nice surprise & the Native American art work made this a memorable stay.

Our room was next to an elevator and every time it was used we could hear it. We tried to get moved but they were all booked up. The management should have made some concessions but nothing was done and no apology for the inconvenience.

Poor service, amenities not stocked regularly, no manager in site to assist with billing issues and front desk staff could not handle it, surly treatment from front desk staff, who were never helpful. will not stay again.

Marty at the front desk was delightful! Extremely helpful, friendly and personable. He’s a true asset! The room was nice but the lighting was abysmal. Property was under construction so amenities were limited.

Snake River Lodge has an unbeatable location in Teton Village. The decor and vibe of the place is comfortable but maybe a little dated. Upon arrival we tried to use the hot tubs. One was closed and the other was cold. Luckily they were able to get this resolved within a few hours. A couple of weird Maintenace issues - I had to re position the sink drain stopper to get water to drain- the rug wouldn’t let the bathroom door close. Overall it was worthwhile although I can’t say anything will bring me back.

We enjoyed the decor but the space is on the older side, our doorknob didnt work and there was a old panel with unfinished paint. Coffee got taken away early in the lobby. Overall the access to teton village is unbeatable.

Maid service was excellent. Restaurant and restaurant room service were VERY poor. On day 1 of our stay, around 5:00 PM, I ordered a half rack of ribs for dinner. They were delicious. Later in the week my husband and I had dinner at a table near the bar. It was around 8:00 PM. This time the half rack of ribs that we each ordered was very dry and difficult to cut. We could hardly eat the ribs. How can the same dinner be prepared so differently? There’s no continuity to your service. On Sept 29. My husband and I each ordered a sirloin hamburger. I asked for catsup for my burger, however, the burgers arrived soaked in mayonnaise. They were terrible! I couldn’t even scrape the mayonnaise off the buns to add catsup. I should have sent our dinners back to the kitchen. For $21 each there were also no onions or tomatoes on the burgers, which accompanies any burger I’ve ordered costing more than $15. The hamburger was split into 2 extremely thin patties which were very crudely prepared and overdone, and certainly not juicy. Your kitchen staff needs a lot of improvement. I would image it would be a great place to stay if they were not closing for the season. The restaurant ran out of just about everything. The two dinner plates that we ordered were no longer available, after they went back in the kitchen, they ran out of white wine and gave my wife a quarter. No ice cream for the hot fudge Sunday. They charged us the whole amount and a 20% service fee. I did have a word with the manager.

It is a bit dated, but great location and everything you can want. The bar on the lobby, closes really early, so not a hangout place

1) Rooms had awful smell upon arrival 2) Room carpet was old and dirty 3) Hallway carpets were old and nasty 4) Ski drop off was good 5) Breakfast Buffett cost $160 for four people and was horrible. Would not recommend it at all. Waste of money. 7) we payed $3600 for three nights ( Presidents’ Day weekend) and when I asked for a bottle of water the room service told me the water is for new arrivals only. I asked her to please charge the room. She said she couldn’t and was not willing to give my daughter one water bottle. The cost was way too high for a motel service and feel. Would absolutely not return.

We wish the restaurants were open a bit later.

Dining was delicious and fresh. We had an issue with our first room and the hotel provided us with a complimentary upgrade.
