Enjoyable Stay with Parking

Came for a 2 night break. Service was good especially in the restuarant.rooms were good, bed comfy. Pillows far too hard for both myself and my friend. The pool is small. We had treatments booked which were very nice,

Listed building, no stairs. Small fridge. Room was a good size (had the triple). Water pressure was excellent. Very good storage/draws/wardrobe. Probably best I have seen in any hotel. Spa is a little walk on other side of hotel. Spa is small, steam room was not working, pool is small but adequate. Jacuzzi not working. Need £1 coin for locker. Restaurant attached, looked nice did not have time to use/. Large carpark. Would recommend.

The halls and outdoor areas look fancy — great for event photos — but that’s where the good part ends. Room booking was a disaster. I booked a triple room (king + single bed) because three singles weren’t available. No connecting rooms either. I booked FIVE weeks ahead, confirmed by phone, and still got stuck with a double bed + single bed. No choice, no fix. Accessibility? Forget it. There are NO lifts to first or second floors. The only wheelchair lift was broken. If you need level access, avoid this place completely. Every towel had orange stains — too gross to even take a photo. Breakfast was another letdown. “Breakfast included” means English breakfast only, nothing else. Want an omelet? That’s £5.03 per person. Food was greasy and way below expectations. Housekeeping after 1 PM? Doesn’t happen. One of my rooms was freezing because the radiator was dead. The wall AC blew hot air until the room warmed up, then blasted cold air. I got sick after this stay. Bottom line: not worth it. Come for your event if you must, but book a different hotel unless you enjoy stress, confusion, and disappointment.

I stayed for two nights with my two children (11 and 8) for my birthday. I’d mentioned the occasion when booking, but nothing was acknowledged – not essential, but most hotels usually make a small effort. The hotel has a spa and pool, but under-18s aren’t allowed to use the pool, which was disappointing. Breakfast doesn’t open until 8am (a bit late) and was fairly standard. The staff were excellent – professional, friendly, attentive and always smiling. Easily the best part of the stay, 10/10. The room, however, felt tired for the price. Loose wall lights, an unfastened duvet cover revealing an old, stained duvet with hairs on it, and bathroom silicone/tiles showing age. Noise was also an issue on Saturday night from a wedding reception. We’d been told about events, but despite having young children, our room was placed right next to the function hall, which made no sense. Overall: staff are fantastic, but the rooms and facilities don’t justify the cost. A very average stay, and I probably wouldn’t return.

Unfortunately both the pool and jacuzzi were unavailable at the time of our stay. We had booked specifically for this and didn’t know until we arrived that it was closed. Sadly, staff weren’t very helpful and just told us to speak with Expedia. When we did this, Expedia could not do anything about it as they couldn’t get in touch with anyone from the hotel even though they tried to contact them multiple times!

Its was a nice stay the staff was nice aswell the food was amazing too. And dessert was really good aswell... i would say doe the coffee was not good at all the breakfast wad really good did really enjoy myself doe the pool not good at all sauan and stream was ok gym was poor was not good at all need updating

It was enjoyable. The first night was very noisy in the only bar as there was a private party playing Asian music, it was just disappointing there was no alternative bar to sit in

2 weddings going on at same time meant nowhere in hotel open besides tiny reception room.

My initial room had a damp carpet. I was then given a room one floor above and the shower had a blocked drain so water was draining very slowly and would have flooded the bathroom gad i not stopped halfway through my shower to give it some time to drain! The shower head needed to be propped up against the wall to stay in the holder and shower controls barely turned to change water temperature. The hallways smelt of damp/drains.. Not would i would have expected!

Phone not working , swimming pool in difference building. Room wasn’t clean, rubbish was everywhere in a room .

Overall the hotel was amazing, the staff were polite and parking was very convenient. The only issue I had was in the room when I arrived there were some previous stains from food/drink in the carpet and on the curtains

Check in was smooth, however when we got to our room about 2.30pm bare in mind check in opens at 2pm, our bathroom bin had not been emptied and the toilet was not fastened to the floor properly. I paid more money for a king bed and they tried to pass off the room was Correct. I had no time to argue as I was boxing that day in a tournament. It was only until my missus went back to the hotel after she made them look at my booking properly. They moved us to the correct size room, but no apology for the small room, or used feminine hygiene products in our old room. I would not stay here again they just have a nonchalant attitude for customer care. During one evening we could hear a full blown argument with a customer demanding a refund for non working air conditioning.

Hairs absolutely everywhere on all the towels on the floor and in the bed including a bundle of fluff and hair in the towel folded on the bed. Made me question if the place had been cleaned before we arrived. Other that that no complaints but feeling like you are staying in a used room gives gives no choice other than a one star

Parking area was good and close. Main issue was with room cleanliness. Two times we had to get bedding or towels changed after cleaning had been. Very poor standard of hygiene with the room and room amenities. Also smelt of mould

Definitely not the luxury stay we were expecting despite the hotel looking so pretty on arrival. We needed a fridge to store food so paid the extra for a family room. It was pretty shabby, bathroom needed a refurb, really dirty headboard on the bed, big black marks on net curtains, leaves on floor. No soap in the bathroom or vanity products and only one tiny shampoo and body wash. No bottled water in the room. The fridge didn't even work and the duty manager tried to persuade us it was working when clearly it wasn't. Eventually he said we could put the food in the hotel kitchen. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was nice if you wanted a cooked buffet, but not the variety or selection or service we expected from this type of hotel. You also have to take a receipt with you to prove you've paid for it! Bonkers! Make sure you put your car details into the terminal in reception or you'll get a FPN too! Sadly, disappointed with our stay and apart from the lovely lady on reception, the staff weren't great.

Carpets dirty smells in the room of sweat Dusty caused me to cough through out the night Would never of stayed here if someone had told me

Hotel gave us a family room which had more space (yay! but standard), however corridor was noisy with people getting back from their parties very late at night. I would have preferred upper floors where the rooms are more modern with walkable space and less noisy ( checked a relatives room).

Superior double room was very compact. Barely room to move around for two people. Could have been cleaner too.

Almost perfect everything other than my room was a double room with king size bed but my bed was a basic double bed

Had a message before I checked in suggesting I download an app. I used this app to book a table for dinner but when we checked in they didn't have the booking, and it turned out it had booked me a table at a different hotel in another part of the country. I double checked and I definitely chose the right hotel on the app, so evidently there is an issue with the app. I also had an issue with the spa - I had booked a treatment which I ended up having to cancel. I tried to cancel online but it said I had to ring a number, which was not in service. So I left a message with reception and I also emailed, but evidently they didn't get either of these messages because I had a call asking where I was. Overall a nice hotel but a few small issues. Location a bit weird, on the edge of a housing estate, was expecting more rural. But otherwise good.

Room is fine but dated. Bed alright but not particularly comfortable Was warned about there being a party on Saturday night but didnt realise HOW loud it would be and how impossible sleeping would be. Means to an end of a hotel but wouldn’t stay again

Notified after booking about noise from an event, which is fine but it was VERY noisy so worth considering. The room was in terrible condition. The toilet was literally hanging off the wall. It shouldn't have been used. The shower is also poor quality

Lovely building, friendly helpful staff. Excellent room with countryside views which was clean, tastefully decorated and had fridge, iron & ironing board, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities and toiletries. Very comfortable bed.

Staff were all excellent

I was woken at 03:30. First by people talking outside my room, then more people, then knocking then banging. This went on for around an hour and a half. Nobody answered when I called down to reception. Being a lone female, I didn’t want to come out of my room to check. When leaving, the receptionist told me that someone had locked themselves in the bathroom. So they not have a master key or was breaking the door down absolutely necessary. A courtesy knock or call would have been nice.

We arrived at 1:55pm and had a phone call 5 mins previous to say that our reservation had been cancelled. There was no longer a room available for us. This was after a 5 hour car journey and we were delivering training to a host of Schools at 3:30pm

We were not provided with the room service breakfast which was promised, and our request for a refund in this respect was totally ignored and denied on both the morning in question and in a follow up written request. The hotel was given over 2 weeks to respond and we have not been contacted at all or acknowledged in any way. This was our first stay here and we did anticipate that very many more stays would follow over the next few months, but we shall now stay elsewhere.

Staff lovey and friendly

False Advertisement and rude staff. Raising a complaint has to go through 3 levels of so called management (Face to Face, over the phone and then attending on site after phone being put down rudely). I have paid for a 2 night stay with a King Size Bed with a Deluxe Room. I get given 2 single beds and 2 single mattresses joined together. My sleep was disruptive due to my Sciatica being aggravated and this was highlighted at around 5AM several hours before checkout I highlighted concise instructions for a full refund of my money as this is not what I've paid for knowing comfort is essential for my medical condition. After failing a call back that day I spoke to the person checking me in who was rude, overtalking and very defensive when challenged with my dissatisfaction and the call terminated. I then drove to the hotel to Speak with the front of house manager again someone in charge of the process who needs to go away and speak with other managers for a decision. I then get told I've stayed 2 nights and I've not highlighted a Medical Condition upon check-in. Please see attached my booking form highlighted and marked by Pen by the Front of House manager for me to highlight my disabilities. Part of any diligence exercise the staff checking me in didn't ask about any disabilities. The question asks if a I require assistance from a potential building Fire. Yet normal official forms ask the direct question Do you suffer with any medical conditions? Trading Standards involved

From Reception to the cleaning staff in the morning we were made very welcome. The bartender couldn’t do enough for us- very refreshing to see

The hotel looks beautiful but check in was a little chaotic and we were sent to a room which was in no way ready. We were then given a new key to a different room which didnt open so third time lucky we made it into room. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and not really fit for purpose, the phone was not working, the hairdryer was broken and the air conditioning didnt work and needed maintenence so we were continuously returning to reception to have it fixed. Some of these were fixed but not all. We ate at the restaurant but was disappointed when i returned something to the kitchen and was not offered a refund for the item. Overall it was a confortable stay but disappointing for the quality of establishment i expected.

The staff are very friendly, the hotel is quiet and peaceful, twice had steak, a bit tough for the price, the rest of the menu is good

Surprisingly a great hotel tucked away in a quiet area of houses.

Nice hotel but its in a very residential area, unfortunately I didn't use the spa as I was there for work, but hotel is clean and tidy, breakfast was good too, lots of free parking and just 2.5 miles to the centre of Wolverhampton, parking in town is not great, so I took a taxi for £8 each way

What a fabulous hotel. Friendly staff, great amenities and great location. First morning we were let down by the water pressure but were offered another room to shower in until it was fixed. The hotel work force had it fixed by lunchtime. Food at the hotel was outstanding and generous, it was surprisingly affordable for the standard of food.

The clean and tidy and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast quality could have been improved. The breakfast availability was limited and we had to ask the staff for various items. The food was cold in parts, a microwave to allow quests to warm up their food would have helped.

The room was comfortable and clean.. Nice shower and bathroom TV channels a bit confusing, but good TV. The food was stunning.... Fabulous Indian and Lebanese food on offer, plus usual burgers, steaks etc.. Very impressed by the food... With good, friendly estaurant service

Very good stay. Food served in grill was very good.

Parking and charging was fine. Breakfast was stone cold. Restaurant meal took exceptionally long to come out. 6 people that sat after us were served first. Fries came out last after the mains had been served

I stay in chain hotels regularly and suffer the average to un-interesting food all the time. Not so at Park Hall Hotel. The food was really tasty, the people were great and the room was a refreshing step up from anodyne chain hotel blandness.

Couldn't be more disappointed in this hotel. My husband suffered severe food poisoning after consuming the hotel's room service (chicken) and was incredibly unwell for 2 days thereafter, resulting in a lot of distress and cancelled plans. We registered a complaint with reception and was assured we'd be contacted by hotel management, yet there's been no follow up. I've chased by email and not even had the courtesy of a reply - it's now been a week since our stay. The quality of all the food we ordered was dire, the hotel room was tired and the bath was dirty with a non working shower - and we were supposedly staying in one of their superior rooms! A horrendous experience - do not stay here.

I was Unable to access the room as the incorrect room key was provided, limited tea and coffee facilities, and no milk was provided. I had to request and go to reception ( a 5-minute walk). Only some of the lights in the room worked. Noisy in the room as families were accommodated below. Very noisy in the restaurant, and the food was lukewarm, having been left at the counter for 20 minutes.

I’m really surprised that the positive ratings for this hotel. It was a best, average. The room was very dated, like going back in time. The food in the restaurant was okay, however it was ruined by large groups of people vaping in the dining area not caring about those around them. I would’ve thought the managers would’ve stopped it, but they didn’t seem to care.
