Beautiful hotel to stay. The infinity pool on the roof top is amazing with a drink and snacks. There are many restaurants as options to dine every night. The spa was great. I used the paddle board once and was fun. The breakfast buffet was delicious with many options for food. What we loved the most is the room. We have a hammock, hot tub, amzing view, mini bar, room service, with smart fixtures. We would like to stay again.

Beautiful property built in the middle of a jungle, such a great spot with a pretty but small beach. Built for a very relaxing vacation with plenty to do. Staff are absolutely amazing and you’ll never want for anything. Food/drink are 10/10. Not a party scene relatively quiet. Lots of bugs outside make their way into hotel if that scares you.

The property gives you the beauty of the jungle behind and the ocean in front. The rooftop pool has the most mesmerizing view.

30 minutes from airport, amazing views of ocean at Mousai resort, have access to other hotels on Garza Blanca property, great food, great service, perfect for relaxing!

Stunning views and top notch service. Everyone was wonderful from the room staff, bell boys and desk attendants to the personal concierge. Would definitely recommend. Make sure you hit the rooftop bar and pool on the north tower!!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool and grounds were beautiful. I would say the gym was adequate but nothing special for equipment. The room was very big, but has a lot of space that was poorly utilized. There could have been more storage for clothes and personal belongings. In our room one of the windows/motors for the automatic blinds was popping over and over again during the day. Our door didn’t shut on its own. These were small issues overall. The bed was very comfortable and the room automation was a great feature. Resort food was an 8/10. We had an excellent time and we will go back.

The outdoor balcony on our ultra suite (6th floor, north tower) was TO DIE FOR!!! And both rooftop pools (north and south tower) had the best food. All restaurants on property were 10/10!!! NOI, DAO, and Hiroshi did not disappoint or miss a beat.

The service, food, and staff were a 10/10 across the board. The only issue we experienced during our visit was the broken fridge we had in our room. It was also forming some kind of mold on the drinks that were on the top shelf, I’m assuming from condensation. Didn’t bother us at all but it would probably bother someone in the future. We will absolutely be back as soon as possible and we can’t thank everyone in the establishment enough for an amazing trip/birthday. Thanks again!

Trato excelente de parte de todo el personal, tuve inconvenientes con el Jacuzzi y el sonido en la habitación y lo arreglaron inmediatamente. Toda la comida es riquísima, limpian a habitación todos los días y la dejan pulcra. Vale totalmente la pena

This property has really gone downhill since I visited 2 years ago. Our room leaked and no one said anything to us after a long day away. Returning to find a pool of water in the middle of the room and the bed moved! It took another hour to get service and then very minimal acknowledgment and compensation for our problems. I paid too much for crappy customer service at a place falling apart!

Several issues, the first night, dirty room with urine one the bed and stained sheets, mold in the shower and many other issues. I didn't even sleep due to bugs in the room and there was no room available, staff disregard their guest and brush away their issues and keep giving you run around. I was so disappointed that no one cared. Only Octavio on the roof top new what is customer service and Alejandro the manager but we were only able to see him the last day.

Excelente estancia y servicio, alimentos y bebidas de alta calidad y las instalaciones son excelentes también. Solo una pequeña área de oportunidad en detalles mínimos de mantenimiento que no se corrigen de raíz y solamente se reparan pero no no permanece la compostura y vuelve la falla (tornillos del ventanal que se rompieron y solo colocaron uno nuevo pero ya no servía la rosca del mismo y se volvía a salir). Un detalle mínimo pero que no pasa desapercibido.

The hotel itself was beautiful, but unfortunately, our stay was affected by an issue with our room. From around 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., we kept hearing a loud and constant noise coming from the window and curtain area. We weren’t sure what was causing it, and despite bringing it up to the staff multiple times, nothing was done to fix it. Each time we reported it, we were told it would be addressed, but the noise continued every morning throughout our stay. No one offered to change our room, and there was no effort to offer any kind of accommodation or gesture to make up for the inconvenience. What made the situation worse was how it was handled — when I spoke with the manager, he was dismissive and even rude. He told us it wasn’t their problem and blamed the sun and the window, but clearly, this is a design or maintenance issue, as this kind of noise doesn’t happen in other hotels or even in other parts of the same building. Sadly, the mornings were a very unpleasant experience because of this, and it really took away from what could have been a great stay.

The food and drinks were good and the service was excellent. The property was well kept and very clean.

Mini fridge was not working from the time of check in until the last night. Issues was repeatedly brought up to staff from the time of check in. Maintenance was sent 2x and problem not resolved the night before check out. Hot tub on the private deck ( the primary reason for booking here) inexplicably selfed drained on night one , had mamaitence up and he filled it but couldn't use it due to cold water. The next night same issue , so we couldn't use the tub two out of a three day stay. I did talk to manager the day before we left and he did offer a credit if we came back or a small stay. I said that I wanted to talk to his manger who was said to be off property. The manager on property said he would have that person reach out at 10 the next morning. Never heard any thing! At check out talked to the manger on duty who said she couldn't due anything due to booking thru expedia and would have GM manger reach out. I'm still waiting on that! Butler was nice and helpful until we had issues and needed to speak with management. Then she disappeared until we happened to run into into her. Important to note* the staff was very good except for management and the 'butler service'. This is a place I would not recommend to anyone.

I reserved a North tower corner suite (ocean view) and was pushed to a South tower suite with a view of construction on the mountain side.

Property was beautiful! The all inclusive package was money well spent. The staff was amazing! The room was spacious with beautiful! ocean views! The only downside was room 6013. We heard constant banging, dragging, dropping etc. until 2-3am every night. It was so loud we thought they may be doing construction. The next morning we found out the room was directly under a restaurant. We made several complaints to the concierge with no resolution. Which was very disappointing & frustrating. If we didn’t have room 6013. The stay would’ve been a 10 out of 10

It is basically a fabulous place with wonderful service . . . but . . . everywhere you go the music is far too loud - in all the restaurants, at the rooftop pools. And the high-tech room was frustrating - the AC had a life of its own and keep resetting the temperature; figuring out the lights, the curtains was hard

Great views great pool great room

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mousai From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff, bell service, and restaurant team provided excellent, attentive service that made us feel welcomed and well cared for. The property itself is beautiful and offers a relaxing, enjoyable atmosphere. On another note, we were disappointed by the persistent push to attend the 75-minute presentation. We kindly told Alejandro multiple times that we weren’t interested, yet he continued to text us, even saying this was how he fed his children. The next morning, we ran into him again and were met with the same pressure despite our clear “no.” We also noticed a slight decline in service once it was known that it was our last day. Overall, the hotel is stunning, and we would definitely recommend it and hope to return in the future. We just hope future visits are free from the overly aggressive sales approach.

I have traveled around the world and stayed at so many resorts and all inclusive hotels…but Hotel Mousai is definitely the all inclusive resort I’ve ever experienced. I can’t say enough about how much I love this property. The staff is excellent and will go above and beyond to make sure you’re satisfied. The resort itself is beyond exquisite!! We stayed in an Ultra Corner Suite South (King) - that over looked the ocean and the mountains. Breathtaking!!! And for all the comments you see that say the decor looks like Vegas is absolutely not true. I have been to Vegas several times and this is not even a comparison. The layouts of the rooms are so well thought ahead. They are super large with wonderful open layouts. In regards to the food… I’m a foodie and it’s hard to get me to like anyone’s menus or food. But I give them a 10/10. Every meal including their room service is amazing. My husband and I are planing to come back in the fall when they have the new additional towers up. If you’re thinking about staying at this resort…don’t think any longer. THIS WILL BE YOUR FAVORITE RESORT! If you don’t mind kids, consider Garza Blanca…which is the sister property and they are all connected. Hotel Mousai is an all adult property with north and south towers. South is the newer property.

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and our stay was excellent. The property itself is beautiful, full of lush trees and lots of greenery. The staff very friendly and helpful, they made our stay enjoyable. You literally get treated like royalty. I recommend paying extra for the all inclusive option since it comes with lots of perks including all food, beverages (both alcoholic and non alcoholic), access to all sister hotels nearby and activities. The only part I didn’t care much for was that the concierge staff kept pushing us to attend a meeting where they were pretty much trying to sale a yearly package/similar idea to a time share even after clearly stating we weren’t interested. I do understand that is their job to sale, but they were pretty persistent. Other than that our stay was very enjoyable and we are planning our next visit already!!! The amenities in this place are above amazing, they’re a 5 diamond hotel which is the highest rating they can get.

Second time staying here and everything was great except one setback. After room was cleaned mini bar was not restocked. Found housekeeper and asked to have water re filled in mini bar seeing room was cleaned but mini bar wasn’t restocked, she said no problem give her a minute and she’ll be right back, this was 4 pm. 5 o clock she never returned, called front desk to explain they said so sorry somewhere will be there shortly, never showed up. Called back at 1800 and once again they said someone would be right there, 1930 nobody had showed up yet. Went down to front desk at 2000 to explain we been trying to get mini fridge restocked sense 1600 and all we cared about was water seeing we had none and can’t drink outta tap. They gave us two warm waters and said someone would be up shortly. Explained we were tired and wanted to just go to bed seeing we been out all day and just wanted a few more waters and didn’t want to be bothered as we were tired. They insisted and had someone in our room within 10 min to restock our fridge. After housekeeping was done we noticed they did not give us any water which was our number one request, housekeeper apologized and had to go get water and come back. Very disappointing that getting water turned into over four hours, did not feel like a luxury resort. With that said even with this setback all staff we encountered were extremely polite and professional around property, they truly make you feel special, but 4 hours for water a let down

Mal servicio desde el checkin hasta la salida. El restaurante exageradamente lento. Todo es lento. Socio expedís gold. Nada de lo que ofrecen lo dan. Se solicitó la botella de vino de cortesía así como check in anticipado o check out tarde y nada sucedió. Lento el proceso. Y muy mal capacitado el personal. Se solicitó hablar con el gerente y este nunca dio la cara. El check in fue a las 9 pm y las habitaciones no estaban listas ni de acuerdo a lo reservado.

Now I had my third visit to this hotel and with my next visit the hotel is getting worse and worse in service! The service is always very long: Check-in: we arrived at the hotel and no one greeted us, we wait 30 minutes, we do not have the opportunity to have a drink. Check-out: there is only one employee and we wait again for 20 minutes! We go to breakfast every day and again wait 20 minutes to place an order and again wait 30-50 minutes for our cooked breakfast to be delivered to the table! We make a dinner reservation, come to the restaurant and again wait 15-45 minutes! We arrive at the roof top-pool and again there is a problem: there are no free sun loungers, again we wait for at least an hour sitting on chairs. But a bad surprise from the hotel was waiting for us ahead!!! on the day of our check-out, after 12 noon we are not able to get a drink, even plain water, get a snack and eat! I have never experienced this in any hotel in Mexico! We will never return to this hotel again and we do not advise our friends and other people to come to this hotel. The hotel staff does not react in any way to complaints from customers! I told the employee that I would not leave a bed review for the hotel, but he told me anyway!

Mousai is everything it advertises online + so much more. Staff was incredibly hospitable and warm. Greta was our butler and Benna osvaldo ricardo were all amazing at helping to make our short stay unforgettable. Outstanding job Mousai- you’ve made an imprint of the beautiful puerto vallarta in our hearts for life. Can’t wait to return in November!!

Very bad customer service the ac broke in the middle of the night and there was no one in the front desk and no one will answer the phone ...... very bad for an ultra corner suite 800 dls a night ..... this was my second time there b im never going back

Es muy lindo. Recomiendo que aclaren que si bien tiene playa no es recomendable nadar en el mar. No hay arena amigable, es una superficie de pura piedra. Mi esposo se lesionó el pie y el botiquín de primeros auxilios no tenía lo indispensable. Dicho esto, Mousai es una belleza. El entorno natural es mágico, las habitaciones son de primer orden y la amabilidad del personal es insuperable. La piscina y restaurantes del rooftop son 10/10. Atención, vistas, instalaciones, bebidas y comidas excelentes Fueron unas vacaciones que no olvidaremos.

The resort and staff were amazing. The only issue we had was paying for the North tower, but they were out of rooms so we were put in the South tower. I can’t say enough about how friendly the staff was. The rooftop pool was very relaxing. The restaurants and room service were also really good. It takes a little bit to get used to always having to “tab” out when eating and drinking, even with the all inclusive package. It was a very quiet resort compared to others we visited in PV.

Loved staying here, totally worth it. I did not do the all inclusive, but I did eat at the rooftop pool twice. Food and drinks were great… don’t be afraid to travel outside of the resort it is very calm and safe. Open table has amazing restaurant options.

Not walkable. Not close enough to the beach

We just returned from our second trip to Hotel Mousai. The food and service are excellent. The check in was quick and easy and the property is clean and well kept. There is construction at the beach that can be heard from your room. Other than that, the stay was perfect.

There was always someone right there when you needed anything. The property is beautiful beyond words and very well kept up not a leaf out of place. The staff is just remarkable they watch you and if they see that they feel you they need you. They are right there. The food was good at the hotel. There were several options which was very nice. If I were to say, anything, was detracted from the beauty and the service we got would be how long the ride was between the hotel and town

Great, clean and amazingly beautiful property, suites are beautiful, luxury and super clean, customer service is average and not a 5 stars hotel, make sure you reserve for dinning at the restaurants before you arrive, otherwise it won’t be available, staff are average not exceptional it would be a perfect 10 if they had a better management in some of the areas. The property is about 20 minutes drive from the city center. Not walkable

We enjoyed the food, the roof top pool/bar. We also enjoyed our breakfast at Blanco Blue with Alexis and Ronaldo serving us. They did a wonderful job.

We had an amazing time at this resort. The food and staff were excellent. However be aware of using resort credits. My brother and sister in law got charged $2500 dollars at the end of their stay for using resort credits. They were told they could use these towards dinners, drinks and other services the resort offers however this was not true. It appears to be some sort of bait and switch. There are other reviews that talk about this on trip advisor so check it out. Too bad for everyone had a great time tell check out.

This reservation was made through Expedia for my boyfriend’s birthday week. Our stay would be 6 days five nights. He enjoys lounging by the pool, jacuzzi, and beach as well as the convenience of having all inclusive. After reviewing many resorts i thought the best option for us would be Hotel Mousai, as the restaurants from its sister resort, Garza Blanca was said to be included in this the all inclusive. I am not one to bash a business but they need to be more transparent about their pricing. I ended up paying one price, which was all ready in the high end, only to be told it would be another grand for the all inclusive option. By the time I was told, it was too late to cancel without being charged fees. Mousai is beautiful non the less, I would have stayed in the infinity pool the entire time. The outdoor jacuzzi is amazing as well. The bidet toilet seats are a great touch in every bathroom you use in the facility. Staff is friendly, gym is kept clean. Room service was disappointing. No refill in coffee pods even after calling receptionist to refill. Room service was inconsistent. Bocados steakhouse was disappointing, my boyfriend is a steak fan and was eager to dine there. Service was not good at Bocados. Not attentive. We chose to upgrade to their other steakhouse, Karuma for his birthday dinner. Again, they need to be more transparent on what you are paying extra for. Dinner at Karuma had good service and quality food. Waterfall tour and kayak tour were the best!

This resort/hotel is amazing and an incredible place to stay and enjoy a relaxing vacation. The biggest issue for me was food options. I am vegan and beside the sushi restaurant the rest didn’t have much Vegan options. I ate guacamole And chips and fries pretty much every meal. Even for breakfast there is not many vegan options. If they can add that to the menus then it will Be 10/10 place!

This hotel was beautiful. All the staff were amazing. The only problem we had was we paid for all inclusive and we couldn't get reservations for half the restaurants in the property because everything was booked.

This is a great property the food is ok but the drinks were amazing. Dont get the Wagyu steak at the Chinese restaurant it is 372.00 american and it came out gray and tasted weird. The rooms are insane and amazing.

We had a great time at Hotel Mousai North Tower. All staff was very attentive and provided great customer service. Noi & Dao were the best restaurants on site. Steakhouse & Hiroshi have room for improvements.
