Casa Quetzal Hotel Boutique is a really charming and cute place to stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and had air conditioning, which made a big difference. Breakfast was simple but nice—yogurt, fruit, and bread—and started around 7am. A couple things to keep in mind: there are no overnight staff on site, and the parking situation isn’t ideal. They do have a private parking area, but it’s very tight and gets locked from 8pm to 8am. When we returned after 8pm, it was already full, so we had to find parking elsewhere. Luckily, we were able to park right in front, so it ended up being fine overall. Overall, a lovely stay and we would recommend.

Beautiful hotel but the room we were shown was not the room we were given. Also do not stay if you get a room next to the street! (Room 10 was ours).. There are two original old wood doors with stain glass that were not operational and just there for show.. zero sound barrier to the street and cars. Impossible to sleep. When I mentioned it to the staff they told me to book a room further back in the property next time (even though I believe that was the room I booked based on the photos).. it’s a shame because otherwise it’s a beautiful place.

We had an amazing time in Valladolid, there is so much to do around this town, and the hotel is close to everything. The staff is friendly and really helpful in providing great recommendation of places and restaurants. I recommend getting the complete breakfast in this hotel because you don’t want to miss those yummy chilaquiles.
