Nice room. Room and property were clean. A bit pricey (as were all of the surrounding hotels). Lobby had a strong ‘pool smell’.

Tidy and quiet hotel. I was pleasantly surprised to find free weights in the gym. I was able to maintain my workout routine!!

Clean, quiet, comfortable beds, nice shower, good breakfast, kids enjoyed the pool. Close to several restaurants.

Would prefer to know in advance that it was another hotel that was purchased and renovated in advance. We've been to better Holiday Inn Express locations.

Motel was in good condition apparently been remodeled recently. Well maintained. Had to wait on the desk auditor to appear from somewhere behind a wall. They were not there when we checked in and had to wait for them to appear when checked out. The room door was hard to open and close.

Room was immaculately clean! The breakfast was great, only to be exceeded by the gentleman working there. They were meticulous in maintaining a clean breakfast bar although there was a very large group of a rowing team there. They were quick to refill all items, ensuring everyone was able to partake of the breakfast items offered. Fantastic service!!!!

The staff made no attempt to greet us or thank us for our stay. The breakfast staff acted as if we were in their way when getting the food. The room was clean “enough” but not under the chairs, corners or around the bed. There was a stain on the bathroom floor that could probably be removed with scrubbing. The air never got cold enough. The bathroom door creaked loudly (for lack of a better word) everytime we shut it during the night, it woke whoever wasn’t using the restroom up.

I was impressed with the cleanliness and staff here and the other 3 I stayed at on or trip my have to make this my number one pick!

The beds and pillows were subpar. The hotel in general was fairly clean but it wasn’t pleasant to move a pillow and discover a dead bug.

Friendly staff at check in and overall very clean. Somehow the keurig in our room was overlooked and was pretty yucky but the breakfast in the lobby more than made up for that.

First of all I want to say that my experience with Ms. Fowler was professional and excellent. However, the front desk person during the day was not. Ms Fowler had noted I would be checking in early. I understand rooms may not have been open at the time I first arrived, but 2.5 hours later the lot was pretty empty and I was met with contempt again when even trying to check my bags before going to the game. After the game, Ms Fowler looked puzzled when I told her I was checking in and stated she thought I was checking in earlier. I told her that it didn’t happen and proceeded to tell her our experience. She was very apologetic and said she hoped they could make it up to me. The room I was in #110 must be near a pump or some sort of equipment and that was annoying, but overall the location is very convenient and it was a clean property.

HVAC system was bad! Very loud, and room was either very cold or very warm, never a comfortable temperature. I was constantly pulling on covers, then pushing them off.

We tried all night to get the air to work and it never did. Stayed on 77 degrees the entire night. We might have slept 2 hours. That’s not ideal when you’re traveling and it is 90 degrees outside. Couldn’t ever find anyone at the desk to complain to.

The first night I checked in our room was small but nice. It had one king size bed. The toilet clogged the first time someone tried to take a number two. No one came to clean the toilet and when we came back the room smelt funky. They moved us to the first floor from room 304. Down to 130 something last room on the left-hand side at the front of the building. I felt for $200 a night each night that my second room was concrete ceiling, concrete walls and echoes. The ceiling was high. The carpet was funky. There were stains on the carpet. The bed was lumpy. The springs popped out in the middle of the king bed so whomever slept in there only slept on the two sides. The lady at the front desk you could barely understand her English and she told me that’s all she had left. However, there were still rooms because I did a fake call to book a room and there were still rooms available. I coughed all night long. The AC was cold, but it gave out an odor. I will never stay at Holiday Inn express again. It was such a bad two nights of sleep. I don’t understand if people who work at hotels don’t like their jobs or have an attitude. Why would they be hired to deal with people? It’s not just that hotel Knoxville in general has the dirtiest hotels and the rudest people.

This Holiday in Express was very clean and a great place to stay for anyone looking to break up their travel. The suite we stayed in accommodated 6 of us and there was plenty of room. The breakfast was great.

This was a great place for families! The room was extra spacious with two king beds and also a little couch area. We had more than enough room for the whole family!

This was a very clean hotel. Well laid out. Our room was had a king size bed, but the room was large and spacious! Breakfast was good, but nothing spectacular. Waffles and biscuits were great! I'd stay there again!!!

Absolutely amazing staff and cleanliness. The breakfast bar was over the top, clean and the staff very friendly. This was our 4th time staying at this hotel and have told other family members, and they stayed as well. We will be back.

The stay was amazing. The staff at the desk went above and beyond to help us. We had an issue and when we returned from shopping, amazingly, it was corrected.

I have been using Holiday Inn for a while now. In error, I booked this hotel for the wrong day which I full take responsibility for. They were not able to accomodate me AT ALL, not even take the charge they already did to my card and book another room and let me pay the difference. Instead they told me nothing else could be done and I was stuck paying for a new room down the street. What a shame that such a large company is only after people's money and not their satisfaction. I don't see myself going back to any holiday Inn's anymore - not when so many other hotels are able to at least work with the customer to keep them coming back.

The property is very nice and clean but the man Andre I had my encounters with was not. He did nit make any eye contact with me when checking in or out and then charged my card when I had already paid through Expedia so I am now paying twice. When I called he said the money should be back to me in 2-3 business days and it's been almost a week and nothing and when I called again got a different person she said I had to talk to someone else and he is not in and his VM was full so can't leave a message. I am so annoyed with this place but the facility itself is very nice, clean and quiet

Easy off interstate. Very quiet and safe. Warm breakfast and the beds were comfortable.
