The room itself was clean and the shower was nice, which we appreciated. However, there were a few issues that made our stay less comfortable. Upon sign in the system sent me to room 510. There was no direction to room 510 which required the use of one single staircase in a building with multiple staircases. I spent an hour roving the hotel looking for my room. The elevator to my floor was broken. I therefore had to haul luggage up 5 flights of stairs after an hour of much the same activity. I encountered a hotel employee in the lobby and asked for directions to my room. He provided them and when I said thanks the tone apparently did not meet his standards because he then berated me for my tone emphasizing it was not his fault the hotel was set up as it is. As a solo female traveler I felt unsafe. Upon arriving at my room and using a punch code to get in, I realized there was no way to lock the door from the inside. Anyone with a code could gain entry to my space. As a result I had to pile a table and my luggage against the door for my own personal safety. I then noticed there was blood splattered on the wall beside the bed. A disgusting display of uncleanliness and furthering my fears for my safety. The toilet in the bathroom was running consistently with no way to shut it off or make it quiet. There was a stain mark on the bed.

I parked out the back & came in the back door of the property. The signs inside the foyer on ground floor for Swiss star check in are WRONG! The machine to get the door code is outside the front door. ALSO BE AWARE take a photo of the code the machine generates because the NEW code is the code to the door of your room (not the code you generated when you booked!)

Good location and overall good for our short stay. Kitchen only had 2 chairs for the 4 of us. Our hairdryer was not working, we sent an email and a text through the app as no one picked up the phone and we never received an answer. It was hard to wash hair and then go out. We understand that it was during the holidays but if totally digital hotel, someone needs to monitor messages and fix what is wrong. We also paid for 3 days to park our car and someone took our reserved parking sign off after the 2nd day. We also got a nasty note on the windshield the day we were leaving that they would tow our car. I had emailed the person who confirmed the reservation and payment the 2nd night but never received a response.

It was a little hard getting in since you had a code. Just had to find pad - then it was easy. Didn't know where to park but was a large lot to the north and it worked ok. It was comfortable and bed was nice. If in Zurich again and leaving from airport this would work for me.

This property was extremely disappointing. The apartment smelled like a pack of cigarettes this includes the beds, sheets, towels, etc. (this place is a “non-smoking” building), the sliding doors were left unlocked and opened when we first walked in, the sink was not draining and also leaked the following day, curtains stained, light/blind switch covers missing, glass in the cupboards were dirty, we found condoms under the bed, headboard faux leather is peeling, mattresses looked like they had little dirt balls under the bed sheets. I expressed the state of the apartment to the property and they said they would clean the room and we saw the cleaning lady when we left in the morning and we came back at night and nothing was done.

The hotel was in a very loud area, the room was hot and stuffy and the window was over a very loud bar playing loud music all night. There was no airflow or fan. The room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable. There are no amenities not even soap to wash your hands after the toilet which just made me worry about all the fecal matter that might be lurking around the hotel. The halls were dingy and the carpets were very dirty. Overall I would not stay here again and it was the worse hotel experience I have had in years. It would have been better and more restful and cheaper to just stay at the airport.

Appartamento grande . Letti molto comodi. Abbastanza accessoriato. Pulizia non adeguata visto la presenza di formiche . Balcone molto grande. Bagno comodo ma manca un piano di appoggio. Le tende oscuranti sono praticamente inutili visto che alle 6 c'era luce come se fosse mezzogiorno. Ho dovuto chiedere il codice per il check in dato che non lo avevo ricevuto. Si chiama hotel ma non c'è reception. Sono appartamenti all'interno di un condominio.

Die Bilder weichen von den veröffentlichen Bildern ab! Mein Zimmer war in der Endetage, das Wetter war gut und es war sehr warm, die automatischen Rollladen funktionierten nicht, sodass es kaum auszuhalten war im Zimmer aufgrund der Hitze. Die Sonne schien den gesamten Tag in das Zimmer! Eine Air Condition gibt es nicht! Die Terrasse vom Zimmer ist super, leider nicht nutzbar da es keine Stühle oder Tische gab. Zimmer sind sauber, Bett war bequem! Lautstärke durch langzeit Mieter in der Unterkunft unerträglich! Der Eingang und Treppenhaus des Apartments ist sehr heruntergekommen, der Lift extrem schmutzig von innen. Ich hoffe das die Sauberkeit in den Zimmern beibehalten wird!! Preisleistung eher im unteren Bereich, für die Preise verlangt man etwas mehr.

It is an ok place for the price, not bad, just cheap. Perfect if you just want to sleep and then head to the airport. It was a little bit confusing to find the right building. Not sure if it's always like that but there was no hot water for hours, yet, it worked very early in the morning. Internet is filtered and restricted so not good for some jobs. I could not work from there.

There was zero moving air. No air conditioning, no fan system, no ceiling fan or even a floor fan. Window did open but zero breeze. I could not stay the night. I was sweating even after a cold shower so I booked another hotel and left.

We stayed one night in Zurich at the beginning of a 14-day tour through Europe and one night at the end of our trip. The first night we stayed at Swiss Star Zurich Airport and the last night we stayed around the corner at Zleep Hotel Zürich-Kloten. The cost difference was less than 10 euros and the difference was night and day. This place was run-down with no air conditioning. The place around the corner was new, efficient, with a staffed lobby, a bar and great working AC! the only reason I didn't rate it lower is because it felt safe and the bed was alright. But when I compare what you get for the money, I recommend you skip Swiss Star and head to Zleep Hotel.

Kind of a weird place. The window was wide open when we arrived (on the first floor), so someone could have easily sneak in. The room was fine but near the door it smelled like cigarette. Same thing for the hallways. We were supposed to have info about the wifi in the room, but we found nothing. Luckily, I wrote an e-mail and got a fast answer. I guess it was fine for the one night we spent there. It’s very close to the airport, which is nice for travelers like us who just wanted a place to stay before our flight.

Honestly, I would stay here if you have an early flight or need to get to the airport. The hotel is walkable to the airport which is nice, about 15-20 minutes. The hotel itself seemed very clean but the sheets had stains and the bed was not comfortable. The room was extremely hot which resulted us opening a window and allowed all the bugs in. The building is near other residents and it is very loud and you can hear everything that was happening outside so it was not quiet, especially since the window needed to be open or the room was stuffy. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the train station so if you need to go to Zurich proper it’s convenient. Only recommend staying here if you’re on a budget or need to get to the airport fast.

The windows had been left open so there were mosquitos to contend with, there was a thermostat on the wall but it didn’t do anything. Access is through a self service point outside the front door, you check in with a code that is emailed to you then it shows the room code on the screen. The display is quite big and there is no privacy so there were some people stood around outside who could just see the code and as this is the access to the room, it didn’t feel very safe. Overpriced for what it was.

They did not communicate the full instructions on how to check in. They emailed me one code thats all. I emailed couple of times to ask the room number etc.No response . After a long day we reached there around 11.30pm and we have no idea which room or where to go. I called the hotel so many times and no One answered finally around 12:30 middle of the night one lady from the same building helped us on how to get in. There is no communication from this hotel. I will not return or recommend to anyone

You get exactly what you pay for with this hotel rental. There are no frills. You need to read the welcome emails carefully and confirm before you come. When you get to the building make sure you use the touchpad in your native language. If you do that, all the instructions after that are simple, straightforward and very easy to follow. If you don’t do that, like I did and get the instructions in a different language, check-in becomes more difficult. Room is clean and simple. My only complaint about the facilities is that it’s probably time to do a little maintenance on the shower handle that doesn’t stay up as a shower and you have to use it as wand. Other than that it was fantastic.

Automatic checkin had failed and it took 20mins to even get to talk to someone on the phone by which time there was a queue of frustrated customers. Window shutters in my room had failed meaning I got no natural light. Promised to be fixed but wasn’t. Had these things not happened it’s would be a good option at ZRH if you don’t mind an easy 20min walk (although parts are not lit at night). Room itself was clean and well equipped.

It was a nice one night stay. It wasn't bad actually except I got confused with code to check in, good thing 2 tenants help me and assist me to get through and get the code. They don't have a reception actually its just a email code that works but the room was nice and very clean its kinda hot in the room so I open my sliding door but everything was Ok. And its walkable to the airport like it took me for just 15 minutes walk. I will definitely come back next time for my trip to Zurich.

Honestly, I would stay here if you have an early flight or need to get to the airport. The hotel is walkable to the airport which is nice, about 15-20 minutes. The hotel itself seemed very clean but the sheets had stains and the bed was not comfortable. The room was extremely hot which resulted us opening a window and allowed all the bugs in. The building is near other residents and it is very loud and you can hear everything that was happening outside so it was not quiet, especially since the window needed to be open or the room was stuffy. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the train station so if you need to go to Zurich proper it’s convenient. Only recommend staying here if you’re on a budget or need to get to the airport fast.

It wasn't very clear, how to check out. The bathroom curtain was moldy! The dining options nearby are decent enough. The TV has alot of blank channels, & other broken channels. Most functional channels are either French or German. Only 1 keycard, wifi login was rather difficult. People smoking in the doorway was awful! No hand soap or sanitizer. The outlets were a bit confusing at 1st, but the EU adapters still work fine. The kitchen was fine, the bathroom toilet has issues flushing! There's no way to blind the windows at night. The pillows sucked!!

It was a 20 minute walk on hiking trails from the Service Center at Zurich airport where I securely store my checked bags overnight. Many travelers, locals and flight personnel using this walking route. Clean and safe area. Many kind local residents in this area. Lots of local restaurants. I had dinner next to a tree lined stream listening to birds at dinner at the facility. Highly recommended

This is a bare bones hotel room, which is fine if this is what you need. There is no reception area and you check in on a kiosk. There aren’t even drinking cups or glasses provided for water-like I said, basic and just the essentials. Check in was easy on the kiosk and the space was clean and accommodating. I didn’t realize the room didn’t have AC but thankfully in Zurich it doesn’t get hot in July. We opened the window and cooled the room off with no problem. The hotel is very close to the bus and we used it to get around the city and to the airport. Overall good place to rest your head for the night.
