Great stay and really appreciate the Level 2 EV charging.

Staff was polite and helpful. During our stay only one elevator was operating. Cleaning of the hotel room could have been better. I take cleaning supplies with me when I stay at hotels. It did not look like the toilet rim had been cleaned. The toilet seat was also loose and the room could have been vacuumed better. I also needed a comforter change as on one of the beds it did not look clean at the bottom edge of the comforter. Those few things were my only issues.The hotel itself is fairly nice. My hotel room shower looked to be newly upgraded and my kids enjoyed the pool.

Wow, sorely disappointed all the way around..where do i begin?! Arrived to construction starting at the driveway and throughout the lobby and halls. Dust, noise, debris, furniture covered in dust from the drywall work, pain fumes. I told the guy the website should have mentioned rhis was going in and id have bioed elsewhere. His answer was it suprised him too, but the dining area 'should' be ready for breakfast. Wait? Seriously? Phone in the room did not work. Went downstairs about it and he said 'fast busy signal?!' Yep everyone keeps getting that..BUT HE NEVER SAID WHAT WOULD BE DONE ABOUT IT. To his credit he was nice and later when i went back for extra towels he was very accommodating. Was leery about the hot breakfast, the duat the fumes, the leftover renovation equipment everywhere, having to walk over cords, etc. I checked that out vefire gojng back for my family. They had cleaned off ebough tabkes for ppl to sit and eat..lounge and lobvy area were still in a disassembly and covered in dust though. The lady coordinating the breakfast area was very kind and made sure everything stayed well stocked. That area was quite clean and the coffee was hot and tasted well. Wish they offered raw (brown cane) sugar and more creamer options. The room was clean. It advertised 2 QS beds and a sleeper sofa which is what i booked. The latter did not exist. Room.overall was clean and again, the phone in the room did not work. Nice location but still...

Clean and friendly place. The beds were wonderful! The breakfast was great, like a home cooked meal. The gym was nice as was the pool although it was to cold to swim. Can't think of a bad thing to say!

Property is attractive. Some parts are under renovation so some mess but it is progress. The electric vehicle charging station level 1 was broken so unable to use. Great breakfast room and food offered.

Parking was easy, check in was quick. The remodeled rooms & bathrooms are very nice. No complaints at all.

OK, looking hotel, the free EV charging station would’ve been nice if it was working. Unfortunately, all three were in operable.

The lady that checked us in was very nice. We were not aware the lobby would be having the floors replaced. There was plastic up and concrete floors on day 1. For the rest of the week they were laying tile in front of the elevator. One elevator was taped off but still functioning. This caused issues at times. We were traveling for business the elevator did effect our ability to get downstairs in a timely manner. When you were down stairs going to get on the elevator there was about a 10 inch wide section you could walk on. If someone arrived in a wheel chair or with small children this would probably have impacted their stay. I think it was in poor judgment to have the property open during the renovation. There was dust from the renovations and the down stairs restrooms were closed for renovations. Maybe they could’ve called people staying for longer than a night to let them know there would be renovations as a courtesy.

We travel to Gadsden several times a year. Usually, we stay at a hotel down the street. However, this time we decided to give Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott a try since we weren't blown away with the experience at the prior hotel on our last trip. To get right to the point, this hotel is our new favorite in this area. We are also going to start booking Fairfield Inn & Suites for our other trips too. Here's why: 1. Great FREE parking 2. Wonderful, friendly and QUICK check in process (thank you Carol) and front desk associates 3. Delightfully CLEAN, resort type fragranced type atmosphere in lobby, common areas, pool area, fitness center and laundry 4. QUICK and accessible elevators (more than 1 makes all the difference 5. Inviting and COMFORTABLE room bed with premium clean, fresh and soft bedding 6. SEPARATE seating and hanging out area that helps you spread out and separate day activities from sleeping 7. WALK-IN SHOWER and bathroom that is updated, roomy and private 8. HELPFUL and friendly housekeeping staff (thank you Beth) who actually speak to you and ask, "Do you need anything? Please let me know if you do." Wow! 9. MULTIPLE, updated, STURDY luggage or grocery carts available in foyer. 10. FREE breakfast that was delicious with hot and cold options. And, no scowling if you take your plate back to your room (I like to eat while I'm getting ready for the day) All the reasons we WILL be back and book with Marriott again and again.

Welcoming environment. Room was really clean. Housekeeping was very nice!

There were some type of bugs on the walls. Creepy. Other than that, all was good.

Property overall was not clean. Stayed here three times in June. Every time we went there, it was dirtier. Free breakfast doesn’t start until 6:30. Too late if you want an early start. First room we were given, the door didn’t lock.

The lobby could use a cleaning. Table tops at breakfast was not wiped off from day before. Rooms were clean but could use better pillows.

Rented two rooms side by side. Both were clean, but one room was very musty and had a strong smell of mold. Woke up with headache and puffy eyes.

Missing closet door, iron board extremely worn out, tub not clean, building old, has unplug coffee maker with a cord to short for any nearest plug. Staff was nice and continental breakfast was good. Their pancakes was crispy which I prefer instead of soft. It is a sufficient place to rest for a couple of night if that is all is needed.

The smells. The smells. The lobby and the hallways smelled like a super strong cologne and I mean ALL throughout… The room smelled damp and musty. Even the elevator smelled gross in a whole new way && The hallways were SO HOT. The staff were fantastic though.

Great stay. Clean and safe

The shower only has a half wall with no door. It leaked severely onto the floor. The bathroom door was on a track, barn door style. There was no door stop at the end of the track. Our door became untracked. It was hard to get it back on the track. It was a heavy door. It was midnight we did not wish to change rooms. Also, when we arrived of the four or so luggage carts that they said that they had. None were to be found. There was also no bellman to assist. It was a 15-story building. Suggest buying more carts or working harder to make sure they are available. Getting in late that was an inconvenience. We did not like that they did not have enclosed drawers in the bedroom. Everything was open style. However, the room was modern in the bed was very comfortable. The facility was quite clean.

Other than a noisy AC fan it was a good stay. Breakfast was very good. Room was clean. Walked in but found it cheaper to book on Expedia and did so right at the front desk.

The wifi didn't work, the room had a smell, the facility looked like it was time for an update. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Easy access to Highway and variety of food choices. Stayed twice in one week. The only complaint I had was managing the temperature when showering it was either too hot or would change to cold without touching the knobs so they were short quick showers.

Very clean and comfortable beds

The air did not work properly in our room and neither did the refrigerator.

Room was fine other than the large, wet stain on the ceiling. Really room 323 should’ve never had guests until the ceiling over the bed is fixed; it’s a terrible look for the hotel. Breakfast was nothing special; your typical continental breakfast offerings.

As it is everywhere, AC/heater makes a lot of noise. Difficult to sleep unles you are super tired

When we arrived they said they canceled our room however no one informed us and also you still charged for my room which we did not stay in so we were stuck without a room last night

Mistake with room. We were given a key, opened the room door, and someone was already occupying the room. Not good. Amends were made.

Front desk, Faith was so nice and cheerful on check-in and check-out. Breakfast was great, hot fresh, the lady was so sweet and efficient. The room was comfy and clean, beds were soft and the AC works well.

Front desk told me they didn’t have my room. Then told me they needed to charge me more. Then found the reservation…..20 mins. Poor

Though the hotel sits in an area surrounded by other properties that are run down or where the weeds are growing up high, the Fairfield Inn property was very clean and well-kept.

Area was like an industrial park

Hotel is somewhat older and is in the process of being renovated. No issue with noise from construction. Employees were all super helpful! Great location with lots of conveniences nearby.

Easy check in, great location. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Breakfast was pretty good.

Clean and convenient. Right off the interstate.

For a roadside stay on the interstate, this is a clean and quiet option at a reasonable price.

Short Walking distance to a few restaurants

The desk was courteous when we checked in and leaving, the room was clean and comfy and breakfast was good and well stocked. Thanks for the excellent stay.

I am new to this chain of hotels but am extremely glad that I gave them a try. The rooms are super clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is amazing. Last but not least, the staff was friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great stay!

The staff was very friendly. Clean well laid out facilities. Breakfast could be a little warmer, eggs were luke warm. I would stay again.
