We stayed Saturday to Wednesday, then returned after a stay in Salisbury on Saturday until Monday. Saturday’s in the summer means big parties. It is noisy and the restaurant isn’t available. They do offer dinner in a small room to accommodate those who aren’t part of the party. The room we had the first Saturday was awful, AC didn’t work and no hot water! We asked to be moved, which they were able to do by putting us in a smaller room. The smaller room was very much better. The bed was so luxuriously comfortable. The staff and manager were very friendly and will do whatever they can to make your stay great. The breakfast buffet is good, and they offer a la carte from the menu which I enjoyed omelets most mornings. I would stay here again, but I’d look at the room before settling in. There are wonderful rooms and bad rooms. We were so pleased with the wonderful rooms.

Really surprised by how nice this hotel is. The staff are helpful and our room was really clean, with a comfortable bed and nice hot shower. The water and tea & coffee facilities in the room were generous and much appreciated. Didn’t have breakfast but enjoyed an early Sunday roast in the dining room instead. Parking was easy and plentiful. No complaints whatsoever. Thank you.

The hotel is lovely on the exterior but inside is quite dated, with narrow corridors and almost non-existent soundproofing as it was quite loud in the morning and you could hear everything happening outside your room quite clearly. The staff was very friendly and there was ample parking available for a quick overnight stay.

Checking into the hotel was excellent and a complimentary bottle of wine and a nice room, a little tight but acceptable. We travelled from NZ to celebrate my wife 70 birthday in the town where she was born with dinner at the hotel. While we were advised the restaurant was open on the Saturday when we got there it was booked for a wedding so were shuffled into a small room for dining which lacked any sort of ambience and sound proofing/music to drown out other diners. Suggest you check ahead if you are planning anything specail as to find an alterative restaurant close by is not an option.

This hotel is so under rated! Always stay here when we are in the area. The hospitality is friendly. The food is great. The room was excellent. Cannot praise this place enough. They have an elevator and a.c. in the room. There is parking on property.

Originally booked for one night at this hotel but ended up staying for two due to a change in circumstances, this resulted in me staying in two different rooms of different classes so I’m going to base my review over the two day stay. The first room was excellent, this was a better grade of room and is shown in the pictures. I think it was a deluxe room and had more amenities such as robes and slippers. The second room was a cosy room, while still nice, you could tell it was a much cheaper room as the decor was dated and the carpet was filthy. Room 206 needs a deep carpet clean, the stains were pretty terrible. Fewer amenities here but a better view and larger window. The location was excellent, car parking was plentiful and the staff were lovely. There was a party on both nights in the staff informed me that it would be quite noisy, this was fine and didn’t bother me too much but it did mean that parts of the dining area were closed off in favour of the bar or room service should you wish to dine in. Would certainly stay here again, no major complaints just get that carpet cleaned. It was filthy!

I've stayed at the Bromley Court Hotel a number of times now for business. The rooms are always very clean and comfortable with plenty of toiletries and also a good supply of tea, coffee and biscuits.

Stayed in a small twin. It was clean and had alm the amenities i needed. Shower room was a tight squeeze. Few hairs in the shower and in the rubber mat which were not mine. Breakfast catered for gluten free but need more allergy information on breakfast items. Staff were lovely and very helpful...especially as they had several functions on.

Disappointing. The double room was pokey and had a huge wardrobe which was unnecessary, the mini fridge was at the end of the bed and you had to lay on the floor to put stuff in it, poor lighting in the bathroom for make up. The air con unit was old and noisy and ineffective.

Nice property with heating and a separate air conditioner so great in hot weather. Only gripe is the toilet and bathroom is very very small and cramped but the bed as comfortable. You can hear people talking from both sides

Faded British Glamour. Can't fault any of the staff - All were great at what they did. Room looked like it had had a refurb, however, the aircon was so old, the unit had turned that dark cream colour that comes with age and was craked/broken in a couple of places. The door to the bathroom had seen better days and we had to keep it shut as the bathroom was so hot. Checked that the towel rail was off and couldn't see any other heat sources so no idea how it stayed so hot throughout our stay. Food was good and the garden/outdoor area is lovely and well maintained. All in all 7/10

Cosy room very cosy, asked for upgrade as per VIP gold status and was told they do not offer a free upgrade an upgrade would be £20. 2nd day was given a upgrade for being a ‘guest of the day’ the garden view room was very nice. Was going to book for a third day but was told I would be back into a cosy room and if I wanted an upgrade I would be charged. This hotel does not offer upgrades to Expedia VIP members. The cosy rooms are ok but very small and very noisy.

I had an incredible stay at BCH recently. I usually stay there a few times a year. The hotel is always very clean, the staff are attentive and friendly, the food in the Garden restaurant is delicious as well. I always look forward to my stay at Bromley Court. Highly recommend!

We stayed for 2 nights, our initial room was next to the lift and it was a bit noisy. However, after a visit to reception and a polite request for change of room, we were upgraded to a suite, free of charge, which was much more comfortable. The staff at The Bromley Court are amazing, most friendly and helpful.

At the reception we were offered breakfast for additional charge. We stayed 2 days, 2 people. We told the receptionist to charge us for 1 day breakfast. He gave us 2 vouchers. Next morning at the restaurant the host took both vouchers, did not allowed us to sit outside as we requested, then after eating we decided to walk and he stopped us for doing it. His behavior with us, was different than any other guest. When we reviewed oue bill we figured out that we were charge for 2 days breakfast. My husband went to request a refund. The receptionist was nasty and siimply refused to do it. At the end he charge us 4 times. He refused to let us talk to the manager. Nasty employees

The architecture and setting of the building are beautiful. Parking is ample and although a little way out of town, it's on a very regular bus route. Staff are friendly, polite and helpful. The hotel isn't so cheap and on the downside over the years we've been to the Bromley Court Hotel, it is evident that the internal decor had deteriorated noticibly espevially in the communal areas and is in need of seriousTLC. Breakfast has gone from a good 'table service' with appropriate staffing levels, to a 'help yourself' buffet where the food is only just warm at best and too often has run out/in need of replenishment and staff barely visible on occasions. (We go for breakfast at least 1 hour before closing up time). Hot food plates have also been stone cold! We are regulars at this hotel as we have family in the area, however, we are now considering staying at other hotels in the future.

Comfortable bed, beautiful garden (watch for red foxes), easy bus transportation to train and to central London. If you opt for breakfast, it includes buffet and a menu. That wasn’t explained to us until we were ready to leave after finding little on the buffet that we wanted. We would have ordered first then found some buffet items while waiting but didn’t want to wait for the breakfast after that.

The staff were really nice and helpful when I had a problem. Unfortunately I had cause to bother them quite a lot. Including a loud noise in my room. No hot water for two and a half of my three day stay. Very few suitable options at breakfast including no margarine
