Great stay. No parking on site, but Rose Street Multi is very close by and easily accessible. Dinner reasonable and a great and generous breakfast. All staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was spacious, clean, warm without being too hot, and despite being centrally located, the room was quiet. Recommended.

We stayed at the Pentahotel Inverness for one night. The hotel could not be more conveniently located. It is steps to the train station and the Victorian Market. The room was very clean, bright and had a wonderful view of the town. The staff was friendly and even stores our luggage in a locked room for convenience. Highly recommended.

This hotel is a good location but it’s run down and dirty. They have tried to make the lower entry fun but the service is meh and you get looked at like an inconvenience. We were very disappointed to have the room be extremely hot. No ac and no fan. Windows open and you get bad smells and noise all night. The room has a distinct smell and I assume it’s the mold in the bathroom…. The bed is hard as plywood. I looked for other hotels and had we been able to switch to another we would have. Disappointing to say the least, if it were the cheapest hotel that would be one thing but it’s not

The staff was indeed friendly and helpful. The room was also nice and clean. However, the cleanliness and design of the bathroom could potentially be improved. One could unfortunately observe some cracked walls and mold in that area. Nevertheless, I would still recommend this centrally located place.

Disappointed with the hotel. Very obvious mould in bathroom and no fan to distill steam and smells. No fridge in room either. Drinks at bar were London prices £18 for large glass of mediocre white wine. Staff on the other hand were delightful. Breakfast- along time cooked and again substandard

Dirty and black moles around shower wall tiles. Bath room floor and shower area are in same level surface, there is only 1/3 width of glass door to separate the shower stall to commode area, water bounded to over fall to the entire floor, it is very poor design. I will never stay in this hotel again.

If I could somehow give this a zero I would. This was the worst hotel on our trip. The sheets were dirty with crumbs and hair. There were stains around the room that looked like someone had bleached the room. I would not venture outside at night because there is a gentleman’s club beside the the hotel with more than enough people around to make you uncomfortable. One thing I will say is that the gentleman that checked us in was very nice but other than that this hotel was trash.

I have to say that the stay was pleaseant. Staff was very kind. The only objection is the rooms doesnt have AA. The supervisor provided an small fan. For me that is really important amenity and was not explicit mentioned in the advertising. For a 4 star hotel should be included. Other than that was excelent. The best thing is the breakfast. A lot of good healthy options besides the traditional scottish breakfast

This is the third year we have stayed here whilst we compete in the Inverness Half Marathon. Unfortunately, this year we found the Saturday night quite noisy. We had problems sleeping due to outside noise (bottles being emptied and people shouting etc), and people internal to the hotel, banging on doors and shouting in the corridors. I appreciate it's a city centre hotel but we didn't experience these issue on previous stays.

Easy, easy walking distance from the train station and a main, local bus station. Lots of food and shopping all close by. Breakfast buffet was really good. The room was a good size and the beds comfortable. The shower wasn't my favorite as it only had a quarter wall so was too easy to get water everywhere.

The hotel has a good location and decent rooms, but our stay was marred by several issues. Our shower was broken upon arrival, leaving us unable to shower for a full day. We had to build makeshift water barriers with towels to prevent flooding. Service at the front desk was poor. Our room wasn’t cleaned during our stay, and when we asked about it, staff falsely claimed we had declined housekeeping, which we hadn’t. The elevator smelled strongly of vomit throughout our visit and was never addressed. After the shower was finally repaired, no one informed us or followed up, and there was no apology for the inconvenience. The breakfast area often felt unclean — tables were sticky, and between 8:00 and 9:00 it got overcrowded quickly, with food items running out fast.

Attempted to contact hotel at least 3x re dining and food allergies, my disability, and my daughter’s 13th bday to ensure she’d have a special meal. No call back. We walked in and nobody greeted us. Instead, a woman at bar acted irritated that I’d interrupted her chatting with her friend and responded huffily, “ oh you want to check in”. I asked her about dining and she said dinner closed at 9 and demanded we pay for room and order food now. It was only 8:15 at this point.We checked in and paid. I had to ask what the room number was and what floor it was on. The room bill was significantly higher than what we were quoted on Expedia. At dinner, I got a chicken Caesar with no croutons and got wilted lettuce in a slop of caesar dressing, no Parmesan, no chicken, nothing. I was told the kitchen was out of hollandaise for the prosciutto and asparagus dish I’d ordered. Seems crazy that a restaurant can’t make hollandaise - it’s what - butter, egg, and paprika? But no. So instead they brought uncooked green beans with bacon. No sauce or butter, nothing to negate the very raw green beans. The waitress never refilled our water, never asked how our meals were, never said happy bday after being told 3 times it was her bday. She continued being as flagrantly thoughtless as possible. She destroyed our stay in Inverness and my daughter’s bday - the reason for our trip to the Highlands. The guy who checked us out was fine but she was absolutely horrid. Don’t go here, don’t use Expedia.

Fabulous location, step of the train and only foot steps away from the hotel.. the bus station is opposite the hotel so you can have days out to different towns and beaches, the river ness is a few minutes away on foot, and it is in the town of Inverness so you have all you need, The staff were all very polite and helpful, we would definitely recommend a stay at the pentahotel.

The hotel was in center of Inverness. Location was great in that sense cause it was close to anything we needed. However, if u don't mind the noise of being on the main noisy rd, it's the place for you. Room was clean but too warm. Window was open at all times and although it was, and temperature outside was 13°c, it was still warm inside (but maybe that's just me) while heater wasn't on. When traveling, I'm looking for a place that is clean & safe, I'm mostly out of the room & coming back only to sleep so I expect the place to be clean & safe and it was just that. Next time, I would probably choose a quieter location but that's a personal preference.

Very convenient for access to the city centre. Unfortunately, no parking but there is a multi storey nearby. Let-down for me was that the 'B&B' implies breakfast included - but it isn't... Expect to pay an additional £14 if you want breakfast/#.

This breakfast was probably the best deal that we got during our trip to Great Britain. If you pre-pay 10 pounds you get all the food you want, including fresh fruit, two different styles of eggs and an assortment of breads. Everything was fresh and delicious.

To start....I would stay here again but I wouldn't pay for the breakfast. Positives Big room Friendly, helpful staff. Looks better in person than in the photos. Large breakfast selection. Sausage good Lovely pan au chocolat Room service. Cons Scrambled eggs too salty Bacon too hard Black pudding tasted like washing up liquid hash browns soggy Bathroom needed regrouted. This is not an issue with the cleaners. The shower area should have a lip. Obviously not suitable as a wet room and dangerous. Dinner of steak pie, mashed potato and buttered veg was nearly 40 pounds. Pie was brick hard in outside and boiling in the middle and mash could have been slapped like a rubber chicken. I'm fairly confident that this was all microwaved. Condensation and slight dampness inside window. No damp smell though. Not sound proof. Lift sounded like a trombone was hoovering and kept me awake most of the night. All of this is very fixable..
