Very comfortable bed and fabulous shower! Lovely welcome gift and very spacious room. Bar food was very good…the battered fish and chips were light and crispy! On the negative side, when going to the bedrooms you have to walk through the bar…the outer edges of it but still not nice having people pass rolling suitcases when having a bite to eat or a drink. Strange lay out.

Reception staff were very helpful. I was allocated an older room, room 6, which looked tired. The room was clean, and of a good size, although the room windows had a privacy film applied due to a huge air conditioning unit being situated directly outside the windows. Water pressure in the bathroom was very low, and should be looked into. The evening meal was good, especially the cheese board, and the restaurant staff were attentive and helpful. I wouldn’t rate my experience as 4 star, and would probably not revisit this hotel.
