Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Jonesboro

Pool was tiny, freezing, and murky. No towels at the pool, so had to go ask. There was a holding fee on our account, which was unexpected. However, there was a welcoming sticky note.

The pool was closed due to vandalism. We switch rooms due to odor from air conditioning units.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great location for what we needed and appreciated the pet friendly option!

After reservation strictly for the use of the pool to exhaust the kids, after check-in, we were informed the pool was out of service for the past 2 months...and our room wasn't clean yet, and...it sucked! Horrible experience! Never will i be there again! Good luck, be 😟 scared

Pros: Room was comfortable, breakfast was good, nice gym and pool, very quiet room. Cons: the room smelled of strong deodorizer, the gym was hot. A/C heat unit was noisy. I was told that the smell was not normal.

Check in was great. Room smelled musty, A/C was noisy, gym equipment needed some attention. Breakfast area was clean and well attended.

Nice hotel, nice lobby and room. No ice maker on my floor, they said it was being repaired.

From check in to check out the staff was friendly and amazing. Love that the indoor pool was heated. Continental breakfast was good, but a bit lacking compared to other Marriott stays. Overall a good stay!

The front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast staff were very nice. Room and areas were clean. We did not like the fact that so many locals used the pool and weren't staying at the property. One person actully said "you've never been to a public pool before" to my wife. Which its not and only should be for guests, other guests came down and left when they saw it. Only one elevator worked (poor facility management) The tub didn't drain well, the ac/heat unit was very loud while running, the led blinking from the smoke detecter was like a photo flash every 30 seconds (made worse night of sleep ever). Sofa pullout bed was stained and about the size of a twin mattress (dont count on this for much of a nights rest) Kids ran the halls well past 11pm and didnt have common decency or understanding for others. Overall will not be back to this hotel.

Never got service for our room the entire 4 days there and had to ask for fresh towels and trash to be picked up. We will not be back.

I was excited to visit Jonesboro but my room had leftover stuff on the carpet from the previous visitor. The bed sheets looked like they had already been slept in. Breakfast buffet was excellent!

There was stains on the pull out sofabed and mattress protector. Staff was friendly

Everything was very nice and clean. We had a pet friendly room and it was nice and clean. Breakfast was the usual with scrambled eggs and sausage. Also had tiny sausage biscuits.

The hotel is very dated. The pool floor were covered in dirt, there were no towels available. The bed was comfy but the bathroom wasn’t clean, there was hair from previous guests and makeup or grease on the shower curtain. The continental breakfast was beyond disappointing, they didn’t have any bread/bagels/muffins/ out at all. The front desk staff was warm and welcoming. If I passed through Jonesboro again unfortunately we would stay elsewhere.

The room was clean, but bed was not to my personal liking. Bed was a bit stiff for me.

The staff was great. The breakfast was amazing. My room was a Suite and the air conditioner was leaking water all over the floor. So the air was barely on and had that moldy smell. They took off $29 from my bill. They didn’t have any rooms like I had to move me in. That’s the only part I didn’t like.

Staff was great; room was clean; only complaint was the middle of the bed sinks in.

The room was great and very comfortable, with a spacious living space and restroom. Beds were cozy. Temperature was perfect. The only issue was a squeaky AC during the night that quieted itself during day - go figure!

Their smoke slarm had a flash light that went off all the time and kept us up all night

My wife and I travel a few times a year. This trip was a driving trip and we stayed at this hotel on the way to our destination and on the way back. Let me start by saying that the staff we interacted with were excellent. We had no issues with how we were treated. With that said, we will never stay at this hotel again. Our issues stemmed from the property itself. Our first room was on the second floor. Due to the number of things we had an issue with I'm just going to list them. - This has got to be the smallest room we have ever stayed in with a king-size bed. None of the pictures prepared us for how little room there was to move around. The pictures didn't make this clear. - The bathroom door was warped and in poor repair. The bottom of the door looked like it had water damage. - One of the lamps on the wall had no shade and due to the size of the room, I lightly brushed it going past. It could have burned me. - The walls and floors are paper thin. We could hear people walking above us. Not being overly loud, just walking. We could hear conversations in the hallway. Toilet flushes, showers running, a truck idling in the parking lot. I think you get the point. - The fire detector alarm was right above the bed and flashed all throughout the night. A white flash and a green flash. - The alarm clock had a nightlight on it that couldn't be turned off without unplugging the clock.

Clean but the heating unit was noisy

Brian needs to be commended on doing a stellar job. He went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable with the hotel and the area and answered any questions we had. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. When we got to our room, the television wasn’t working properly and I called the front desk. Brian was there in minutes and had it fixed in less than 45 seconds. We appreciate you, Brian!!!!!

Staff was amazing! Very helpful and attentive

The staff was very nice and then property was clean and smelled good. They were kind enough to help place our family members near each other. The fire alarm went off one night and the staff handled it very smoothly.

Hotel was pretty good for the price - we only stayed one night - our biggest problem was trying to get the attention of the night attendant so we could check in - she finally came out after about 10 minutes

Disorganized check -in. Had reserved a King executive suite because we had 5 people. Got there, was given a room with one queen bed, then given a room with one queen and a sofa pull out. Then charged for both rooms. The only saving grace of the entire stay was the full on breakfast. I cannot and do not recommend this hotel for any reason. Just not worth the frustration.

Jerad was very helpful getting us a pizza to order on Christmas night. He got us plates and silverware. Great employee

We had a great time at the hotel. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and courteous. We will definitely stay there every time that we go visit family.

We arrived in evening with 5 kids post cruise. Lindsey the evening person made sure we had adjoining rooms and fresh extra linens for the pull out sofas. When I tried to use the washer it wouldn’t work and with days of swimming- cruising- car travel we had one bunch of dirty socks that just had to be addressed for the way home. Lindsey became our Christmas miracle elf when she offered to throw the load in their washer rather than have us go out to find a laundromat on a cold dark night with super tired kids. Instead of being stressed we spent the evening in the warm indoor pool- so THANK YOU Lindsey!!! That little act of kindness meant a lot to 7 tired travelers on Christmas week!

The staff were super friendly and the location is close to lots of easy shopping and food options. The room needed some upgrades as the wear and tear is noticable, but overall was a great stay.

Do not take the back way to the hotel. Not the best neighborhood.

Everything was fantastic EXCEPT trains! How can anyone sleep? No lie there were at least 10 trains during the night laying on the horn... Got little to no sleep.

The property is nice. It was a bit noisy due to being right by one of the main highways. I had a 2 night stay. Housekeeping did not tidy up my room during the stay. But, the biggest disappointment was that I stored leftovers in the refrigerator to eat the following day and the refrigerator apparently wasn't working. My food went bad. The staff was nice. I didn't complain.

My family and I were in rooms 217 and 219. When we checked in The trash cans in the bathroom had not been emptied. We had to call a few times to have the room cleaned which didn’t get taken care of until after 5 pm! Both day and nights we had to listen to loud walking and jumping throughout the entire night from the guests above our room in 317! Called the front desk several times about this and it continued. Breakfast on our last day wasn’t even out at 7 am! Guests had to wait till 7:30 am. I’m requesting at least a refund comp of 1 night back at least. Very unhappy and upset over this.

Breakfast not good biscuits were cold , bacon half cooked and they just mixed the gravy mix with water and put it in a crockpot. It was cold and if you put it on a biscuit it was like pouring water on it , just cold and very soggy. Won’t stay there again.

Been here twice - and while it is not a new facility, both times we were pleased with it's cleanliness, comfort, and friendly staff. And it has the BEST hot breakfast - with lots of fresh options.
