Mistakenly placed my order a month early. Hotel presentation allowed changes. However, Expedia did not allow even same day canceling. In addition, had three rooms in one single order. Canceling the order would have required canceling one room at the time. Could not correct the situation and ended paying twice. Riga center is difficult for parking. Europark is 7 minutes walk away. There is no space to leave your car in front of the hotel to take your luggage out and check in and out.

We visited Riga for the Christmas market. We stayed 3 nights at the Hotel Justus. The location of the hotel was fantastic for the market and all attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable and spacious. We had a superior double. The breakfast was a good selection of hot and cold food but if you came to eat during last hour many items were not topped up, despite requesting this. In the bar, they ran out of beer and still had none by the next night, and also had no wine glasses on one evening. Despite this we had an enjoyable stay, but the hotel does need to ensure food and drinks are available at the times advertised.

Good location- easy to walk from hotel to main sights in old town. Hotel is very old so exposed brickwork etc. Hotel has a lift. Our room was spacious with two large windows. Big bathroom with powerful shower. Breakfast was average with a small range of cold foods.

Wonderful location and walking distance to the House of the Black Heads and other major attractions in the Riga old town. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, the room is old town style but clean and cozy. There is a variety of food options available in breakfast. Overall the stay is great and I enjoyed it entirely.

El Hotel estaba muy céntrico, y muy bien de precio. Pero la limpieza de las habitaciones eran nula. Me encontré pastillas del inquilino anterior, me limpié con toallas con puntitos de sangre por toda la toalla, lo cual me dió mucho asco, y me di cuenta después de ducharme, y también había otra toalla más que estaba sucia. Lo peor que tiene es la limpieza, lo mejor la ubicación.

Läget var bra. Lite slitet hotel och slarvigt städat under sängen (hittade en strumpa från någon annan gäst.) Frukosten var en besvikelse . Torra hårda plättar som barnen inte ville ha det fanns inte heller någon sylt,grädde eller nutella till dessa . Dåligt utbud på bröd också.

Lovely hotel - large rooms. Hotel is conveniently situated for bars & restaurants. There wasn't a kettle in the room but a staff member was good & gave us one with some teabags & cups. The air conditioning didn't cool the room down so it was very hot at night

Absolutely great location for everything in Riga old town Staff were unbeliveably friendly We had an interesting start when checking in when we got to our room it wasnt ready so we had to go get another room sorted, which the girl on reception did with no fuss and then the next day moved us to yet another room Breakfast was average at best, food was mostly lukewarm or cold as there were no warm heaters under the food containers A good stay made better by the staff and locatio

Great hotel overall. Would have given it a 5 rating but the AC didn’t work. (Could have just been me though; in fairness I didn’t ask for help with it). Nice, English-speaking staff. Huge room by European standards. Everything very clean and in good condition. Good breakfast which included local specialties. Great location though there is some street noise. Would definitely stay here again.

The location of the hotel was perfect and the rooms are very large. The hotel is in the old town so the room is dated but in a purposeful manner. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included which is always a nice extra. The location, size of the rooms and Breakfast makes this hotel value amazing. Was woken by the church bells one morning but this is a central hotel surrounded by churches so not a complaint just an observation you are literally in 5 min walking of all the old town sites from this hotel.

Hotel itself is amazing. Be careful if you can’t sleep through noise as there were several bars outside and the track stag do one night did not get to sleep until 4:20 am

When we arrived we were greeted by a nice receptionist lady who was very helpful with information we need. The staff were excellent and polite. The room was spacious and clean and the breakfast table was excellent and plentiful. We stayed here for an international football match and would definitely stay here again if in the area. Hotel was also very close to all places of interest in the old town.

ヘルシンキからのトランジット便が欠航となり、予定より5時間遅れて深夜0時頃チェックインしましたが、快く対応いただき大変ありがたかったです。客室は広く、アンティークで中世の宮殿の住人になったかのようで、とても雰囲気があります✨ 帰りはタクシーを予約しましたが、タクシーの運転手さんがホテルの中まで呼びに来てくれ、荷物を運んでくれました。信頼できるタクシーを呼んでいただき感謝しています。また機会があれば、利用したいホテルです❤️

Staff was great. There was some issue where my booking via expedia did not show up in their system, but staff did everything they could to accommodate me and provide extras. Really friendly and helpful in pointing out where to go and what to see. Breakfast is definitely worth getting, and it is in an area convenient both to walking around and using public or private transportation. Would definitely come back here.

Hotel Justus is very well located in the Old Town close to most of the major sites (once you can figure out how to get from A to B more efficiently than Google Maps --not easy). The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Our room was large and quiet. Although heating wasn't on extra blankets were provided on request. Breakfast was good and plentiful. We enjoyed our stay.

Amazing staff!! Special Thanks to Einars, Chris, and Patricks!! Extremely helpful and kind. They took care of, even, the minimum details to make my stay comfortable and incrwdible pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel. I'm sure my next trip to Riga will visit this place again.

El hotel es bonito, la comida está bien, hay muchos muchos lugares al rededor. Lo único que no nos gusto es que dice que la recepción es 24 horas y fue mentira, llegamos a las 3 am después de viajar en carretera y el hotel estaba cerrado, había un aviso que decía timbrar o entrar con la tarjeta de la habitación, Y el tombrw no funcionaba, timbramos intentamos llamar a un número que decía ahí pero no teniendo datos del teléfono fue imposible, duramos mucho tiempo esperando que hacer hasta que golpeamos guerra la puerta muchas veces y apareció una persona para abrir la puerta, lo peor es que le pregunto el tim re no funciona? Y me dice no y no dejan un aviso o algo para saber que hacer. Realmente fue un momento muy frustrante . La verdad no me volvería a quedar ahí, esperaba más del hotel. Las fotos se ven lindo pero mi habitación no era tan bonita como las fotos.

Good looking property in the Center of Riga. A short walk to most of the best areas of the city. My only issue is that nobody was at the desk when I arrived. I waited nearly half an hour for someone to arrive and check me in. Outside of that; great stay.

Great location. I stayed in 5th floor and I could see the Riga Cathedral from the windows. It takes 3 minutes to walk to there. All major attractions are in minimum walking distance from the hotel. Staffs are friendly and breakfast buffet is great. I went up to the tower of St. Peter Church twice to see the whole Riga which looks magical with all snow covered roofs. I definitely come back and stay in the hotel again.

A great hotel in the heart of Old Town Riga. It's within walking distance of several museums/tourist sites, great restaurants, a bus stop and a train station. The room was spacious enough, and the bathroom was great -- plenty of hot water and strong water pressure. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Great location in the old town. Take the 22 bus from the airport and just as you come off the bridge across the big river get off. It’s a flat, easy 5 mins walk to the hotel. Bus is roughly 2 euros one way. Free breakfast is ok. It’s a buffet with hot and cold options. There’s no kettle in the room but they are large and comfortable. Lots of bars and restaurants around the hotel, with the canal boats trips about a 15 mins walk away.

Das Hotel war gut. Wir waren im März 2025 da. Die Außentemperatur lag bei ca 10 Grad Celsius. Die Heizung funktionierte nicht. Das Frühstück war gut. Es gab jedoch Brot, welches getoastet werden musste. Die Frühstückseier waren um 7.30 Uhr schon kalt. Die Rühreier schwammen im Wasser. Im Bad gab es keine Steckdose.

The location was excellent! Right in old town, but far enough from all the noise from the restaurants. Also very close to the airport bus stop. The hotel was cute and clean. There was good enough amount to choose from at breakfast. However, if you go to breakfast half an hour before breakfast time ends, they won't bring out any more food if something runs out.

Disappointing Stay – Avoid if You Can I had a very disappointing experience at Hotel Juntus in Riga. The room had no air conditioning, which made the stay extremely uncomfortable, especially during the warmer days. The breakfast was poor – limited options, low quality, and not worth the cost. To make matters worse, I had issues that I tried to resolve through Hotels.com, but the owner did not respond to refund or resolution requests. The lack of communication and accountability was frustrating and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. There are better options in Riga with better service and facilities.
