Rummet var helt ok. Det saknas trevliga och bekväma utrymmen för gästerna som en bar, lounge. Vi själva råkade inte ut för något i incheckningen, men våra vänner som checkade in samtidigt "råkade på" en dubbelbokning och fick byta rum. När de är nere och klagar är det ett annat par som fått sitt rum och när de öppnar ligger det en man i sängarna och en massa flaskor runt om i rummet. Ännu en "dubbelbokning". På kort tid 2 st felbokningar av personal, sådant skall inte få ske.

Centralt beläget hotell. Bekväma sängar. Rent, men lite slitet. Ganska okej frukost. Dålig ljudisolering. Dålig service när man skulle lämna en liten väska i hotellets bagagerum. Man skulle scanna QR-kod, fotografera väskan och betala för förvaringen! Detta var mycket osmidigt och tog lång tid. Personalen hade inga andra gäster att ta hand om, de kunde enkelt låst upp bagagerummet och tagit hand om väskan. Det är inte rimligt att göra allt jobbet själv och dessutom betala för förvaringen. Det är en självklar service när man bott på hotellet att hotellet kan förvara bagaget några timmar efter utcheckning utan extra kostnad.

We had some issues with our initial room that they tried to sort out, but as some remained we were moved to a room with no issues after the first night. The beds are lovely and comfortable, and the breakfast is very nice with lots of choice. The gym is small but have a couple of cardio machines and weights. Not great, but I’ve stayed places with a lot worse. Be aware that the bell tower at the town hall rings frequently until midnight, so can disturb sleep.

Great location! On site restaurant or bar looked nice but not available to hotel guest unless you make reservations in advance we were told. Not convenient for hotel guest just arriving who would just like to sit and have a drink and a bite to eat after long travel day. Don’t think I would stay at this hotel again.

Faded glory. Shower the other end of the room from bathroom. Irregular internet connection. No restaurant other than breakfast in a dungeon. No orange juice or toast for breakfast - a world first for us. However staff were friendly and as helpful as they could be.

Vi har i over 5 år hvert år boet på Scandic Palace når vi har været i KBH, og har altid haft en super god oplevelse af stedet, men ikke i år, selvom vi endda havde givet lidt ekstra og booket en suite denne gang. Da vi ankom var der fingre og pletter på bordene og en sok efterladt på gulvet, da jeg påtalte dette sendte de en fra housekeeping op som tørrede borde af og tog sokken med, senere fandt vi også legoklods på gulvene som i øvrigt bar præg af at de ikke var blevet støvsuget!! Det ene håndklæde var ikke rent (Makeup mv), og vandet kunne ikke lukkes ud af det ellers flotte badekar, der også fungerer som brusenische. Selv om påtalte dette, skete der intet, så vi var reelt uden bad. Endelig var der en lampe hvor fatningen uden fatningen hang ud af loftet. Alt i alt en rigtig æregerlig og skuffende oplevelse. We checked in. Entered the room. The room was dirty. It’s smelled filthy and there was no way we were going to stay there. We checked out and went to stay at another hotel. I will be contacting Expedia for an expedient refund.

Was a mixup on rooms and was given someone else’s room. They fixed the issue and gave me a larger room for the mixup. Room was nice but the only issue I had was no charging outlet near the bed. So had to plug and charge on desk from across the room. Had the option for room service daily if I was staying longer than 2 days. Walking distance to train station, and close to several sights.

Bestilte Presidential Suite grunnet bilde av stor terrasse og separat soverom da jeg reiste med barna. Da vi kommer på rommet er det kun en bitteliten balkong og en sovesofa helt tett opp til hovedsengen i en felles stue. Resepsjonen kunne fortelle at de hadde to ulike suiter, og at bildene på nettsiden var fra den andre suiten. Ettersom det var viktig med separat soverom grunnet reise med barn fikk vi nedgradert til en junior suite hvor det var separat soverom. Her var det en sovesofa jeg kunne sove på mens barna fikk soverommet. Det er den vondeste sovesofaen jeg noen gang har ligget på med flere tverrgående metallstenger under en tynn madrass. Måtte legge sammen sofaen og sove på den tynne madrassen rett på gulvet. Vinduene var eldgamle og knirket og bråkte i litt vind, og støydempingen var helt fraværende. Frokosten var god. Sentral beliggenhet.

The hotel is tired. The decor is grey and gloomy. Our bathroom was ridiculous: a tiny sink that was hidden under the mirror. It was an issue turning on the faucet. The lighting was poor. The door is sliding glass and does not close fully so lack of privacy. The shower is stand alone and is in the room. The floor tile is black tile but is badly stained by soap so looks very unappealing. Extremely poor design. The corridor to our room was half filled with storage racks for towels, etc. We loved the location but were very disappointed with the hotel. 3 stars at best.

The room was fine but the shower was terrible. The water temperature would change from cold to scalding hot without touching the dial. It would not hold a temp and made showering incredibly frustrating. Other than the shower, the room was comfortable and the location was nice

I really enjoyed my stay at the scandic, very clean. Very friendly staff, and very very close to the train station! Room is spacious, bed is comfy. The only thing is the shower doesn’t has a half door, every time after I shower, the bathroom would flood, just had to put lots of towel on the floor. Otherwise, very good experience! Would stay again!

Døren ud til badeværelset er af glas og gaber flere cm., grundet en gummi-stop, så døren ikke slår op i væggen. Dette efterlader 0 privatliv, når toilettet skal anvendes. Badet fungerer ikke optimalt med konstant skiftende temperaturer, vand udover hele badeværelset og den bruser, der ikke anvendes, kommer der også vand ud af. Badehåndklæder er der intet af - i stedet fik vi fornøjelsen af nogle vældig små håndklæder, der er tiltænkt håndvask. Det er ikke en okay standard for en så stor kæde placeret så ikonisk.

The staff are lovely and friendly. I had a slight issue with my door as the hotel building is older. They slightly upgraded my room as I had to come back to the front desk to fix it. The rooms I got had a lovely bathroom and extremely comfy bed. Breakfast in the morning had a good array of traditional Scandinavian and american breakfast options. Hopefully I will get to come back soon and for longer!

Hotel ok but no cleaning service or explanation of how to obtain refused to help my daughter at night when she forgot her card and she had to sleep on patio outside hotel!!!! Not impressed. We asked when checking I. To add her name to reservation and they said we didn’t need to and when she asked for assistance at night they would not give her a new key and then locked her out of the hotel. Paid a lot for an upscale hotel and they let guests sleep outside!

Frukosten var bra men det som drog ner betyget var bristen på security. En okänd man sparkade och bankade på vår hotelldörr under halva natten vid vår vistelse. Detta ledde till att vi inte kunde sova under hela natten. När man lyfte detta till receptionisten vid utcheckning visade han ingen sympati eller intresse av att lyssna på mig som kund.

Absolutely amazing service! My son and I did a stay-cation where we wanted to it pizza in bed and watch TV the whole stay. Unfortunately, streaming was not available. To be fair, I didnt check it beforehand. The staff went out and bought a streaming device, gave us free candy, and later check out for free. Such an amazing staff!

Hotel was awesome and the location is perfect. However! Beware the bell tower is directly adjacent so the clock strikes EVERY 15 minutes. All day. All night. Additionally there were fireworks that shook the hotel at 11:30 at night. Three times in Copenhagen and all three times experienced these fireworks. So don’t expect sleep .The hotel itself was great, I just would have loved to have known about the bell tower and fireworks and I would have steered clear.

We had a great one-night stay at the Scandic Palace Hotel. The location was excellent, right next to a metro stop and Tivoli Gardens. It is so walkable to every site in the city center. The staff was also friendly and the included breakfast was generous and very good. One thing to know is that you can hear the bells ringing until midnight at least, and then again in the morning. It did not bother us much though. We would definitely recommend it to others looking for a convenient stay in a historic building!

Perfect Location for Exploring the City! Great location, easy to walk everywhere. Good spread at breakfast. Only negative was the City Hall bell tower nearby ringing every 15 minutes from 8am to midnight - impossible to sleep through and especially tough when fighting jet lag.

The Scandic Palace is in a great location, next to City Hall and within easy walking distance of many of the sights of Copenhagen. It is a beautiful old building and the size of the rooms reflects this. The room was comfortable and spacious and we enjoyed the views over the square and Tivoli Gardens. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. The main downside was the thin walls between rooms - we could hear our neighbours on both sides - but the positives of the hotel far outweigh the negative.

It's hard to beat the central location of the hotel. Close to many of the major sights, walking distance to the Central Station, metro station a few hundred feet away, the Copenhagen's main pedestrian shopping street begins at the end of the block. For the grand history of the hotel, the lobby is underwhelming. Our room was very comfortable and mostly updated. It's a bit confusing at first as you have to use their web link to reserve the time you want to go to the buffet breakfast. You also need to use their website to schedule if you want your room serviced (must be done the day before you want it cleaned). Breakfast was good and offered something for everyone, including make your own waffles. We saw lots of people making sandwiches for lunch later. A plus if on a budget. Lack of security for the elevators as there is no one checking people going up in the elevators as most big city hotels do. Did not bother us, but others might find that uncomfortable. Overall, we would recommend to friends and family.

Dislikes: breakfast. It was the worst we have had in a hotel stay. Powdered eggs that pose as scrambled eggs were terrible. No syrup for waffles. No fresh fruit. No toaster for breads. Old cinnamon roll Danish was the only option for Danish. No danish is Denmark? No orange juice. A bonus would be an omelette or egg station, but we understand if this is an extra cost. This is the only part of our stay that was very subpar.

Had a 2 night stay. Excellence location near to city centre and transport links. Had issue upon checking in but this was resolved. Hotel is clean with good sized quiet rooms. One disappointing thing was at breakfast when told they had run out of orange juice..don't expect that in 4* hotel at breakfast time. Overall, enjoyed the stay and would recommend.

Very close to the metro and incredibly central position, so very easy to explore the city. Good breakfast even if they can do better as choice. You have to book in ad ance the cleaning and the breakfast. Very basic commodities in the room, anyway it is functional for small breakes
