Pool area and convenient parking

Great pool with enough beach chairs and shade. Private beach space! There are no paddle boards or Kayaks you have to bring your own. No life jackets you have to bring your own. You’re not allowed to eat pool side with food from outside of the restaurant which is inconvenient when the kids just want a box of pizza. It’s an excellent space and a great location!

My new favorite resort in the Okanagan. Facilities are beautiful and wasnt overly expensive. I only wish there was an adults only area.

Outdoor heated pool and hottub lakeside!

This resort has everything you could need for a stay in Osoyoos. It’s right on the lake, with a licensed beach, pool and hot tubs, bbqs for guest use, as well as a restaurant. The room we stayed in was large, clean, and well equipped with a kitchen and beautiful view of the lake.

The hotel is nicely set up around the heated pool overlooking the lake. The beds were comfortable although the pillows could use an upgrade. Our balcony overlooked the pool area and had a couple chairs which were not comfortable to sit in. The resort is a nice family destination!

Had a fantastic stay here, the studio suite we stayed in was nice, comfortable and very well stocked. If we had wanted to cook, we would have easily been able to. The bed was big, clean and very comfortable. My only recommendation is the ceiling in the bathroom needs to be updated (it was ACT ceiling tile - could be more modern). We could hear the guests above us stomping on the floor, so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Also the pool/patio/hot tub area doesn't let you bring your own beverages, you will be forced to buy form the bar - which is unfortunate.

Lake view overlooked the pool area as well, but was still quiet. Very comfortable 1 bedroom. Short but enjoyable stay. Nice private beach. Only drawback was the rule about not bringing your own food or alcohol to pool/beach.

Awesome stay, relaxing and fun. We stayed in a one bedroom suite, and we were very comfortable. The pool area is great. They had dj’s on the Sunday afternoon and that brought some enjoyment to the otherwise cloudy afternoon. Pool was warm so we still hung out there.

We had a fantastic family vacation here, The pool area is wonderful, and love the convenient private beach access. The communal bbq’s and picnic area are great. The floor of our unit was noticeably dirty when baby was crawling around and the pillows were uncomfortable for my liking but we will still be booking back in for next year!

The room was clean and had everything that we needed.

Beautiful area however I was disappointed that the hotel seemed neglected. Exterior needs a refresh and wash, wood around the building is rotting. The room was worn out, lamp shades were dirty. For the price I paid the room was not up to the standard.

We enjoyed our stay for the most part! We found the air conditioner in the room was extremely loud in the nighttime and woke us up often as it kept turning on and off every 7 mins! We were left with only one roll of toilet paper and the one left in The bathroom was was as good as empty! The roll under the bathroom sink was disgusting and had feces on it! Told the fro tdesk & housekeeping never brought in a new roll as promised!

We had a wonderful stay! The room was excellent and impeccably clean overall. The only minor issue we noticed was with the blackout roller blind covering the double doors—when we opened it, we found it was covered with flattened insects and bugs. Other than that, everything else was fantastic, and we would happily stay here again.

Staff beyond excellent. Spotless in upkeep of a pristine property. All staff friendly and seem genuinely interested in making our stay perfect!

The rooms are dated and not as clean as I had hoped. The phone was visibly dirty. There was hair on the top of the comforter. 1 tiny soap bar to both wash your hands and use in the shower was quite stingy. When we walked by on our last day one of the ladies at the front desk was complaining about another guest which was pretty unprofessional. I called down to the front desk to let them know about a small issue and there was no apology or sense of importance which was disappointing. The outdoor area is nice and that definitely helped make our experience better. I would not recommend a room on the 1st floor. It is very uncomfortable having to walk past their hotel offices everytime you go in and out of your room. Overall I probably wouldnt return unless it was really cheap. I did however really appreciate their care for the swallow birds outside - it was nice that they cared about them and made a point of letting guests know about them with a notice in the room.

Property was good, but could be cleaned more deeply. Floors were super dirty on arrival and housekeeping fid not come.

Loved the pool the staff was very nice the only things I didn’t like were the house cleaning, one of the lady’s was extremely rude and the cleaning of our room was quite poor in, and the pool towel situation needs to be looked at you shouldn’t have to ask for new towels every day and have to ask at a decent time or there wasn’t any left other then that loved my stay not my first time here and definitely not my last!

Despite shortcomings there aren't many good alternatives in Osoyoos. Clean hotel with nice and and well kept grounds. Quiet area by the lake. Big rooms. Nice parking. The not so great: dated rooms, soft mattress, very noisy AC and poor sound insulation between floors. We slept with a slightly opened window but had to endure noise from some hotel equipment nearby, avoid room 209. To make matters worse guests nearby partied loudly all night. It could be a great hotel it is average.

Studio space was a good size, bed was comfy and nice bedding. Unfortunately road noise was loud by this room as cars are going by fast. Disappointed there was no fresh creamer option in the fridge to make coffee in the morning.

we upgraded to a lake view 1 bedroom. Very spacious. Would come again.

One of the best hotel we stayed. Staffs were friendly. Checking in and out were quick and easy. Parking was gated and secured. Beautiful Lake view from the windows. Room was clean with a full functional kitchen. We will definitely come again.

Being a older person with some expectations for others with possible limitations on movements, I find that the tub on our room could be slippery after a lathering up to wash and there was no grab bar to help in stabilizing ourselves. Also the toilets are somewhat too low.

Room was very comfortable and spacious! Staff and the grounds were perfect !

There were nice kitchen facilities, but I didn't get a chance to use them. Also, the sofa was so old that the fabric was frayed.

Beautiful view of the lake, great swimming and hot tub. And for the techies, every room has its own modem with high speed internet!

Unfortunately the service it's insanely subpar. They missed my stay over service saying my DND was on, but I specifically told the FD that we were out and DND could be broken. I was provided an additional 30 min for check, and they had no issues breaking the DND then. Pool service was also abysmal. If you have to chase your server constantly to get food or drinks that's a huge problem. Overall, for the price paid I was extremely disappointed. We were celebrating our anniversary and not one staff member acknowledged it and nothing special was prepared for us. We also had requested a crib which was never provided so baby ended sleeping with us the entire stay. I would not recommend this property.

The staff was very helpful. We booked 4 rooms for our family. When we arrived we discovered that the rooms were all studio rooms instead of the 1 bedroom units wiht kitchens that we intended to book (our error). At check in the front desk arranged all 4 rooms together for us and then, even with limited options on a busy long weekend, managed to find us a 2-bedroom unit in place of one of the studios which saved our family weekend, allowing us to share meals and evenings in the larger unit together. We are so grateful for this kindness. All other staff throughout the weekend were friendly and helpful. We loved our stay and would highly recommend Walnut Beach to anyone visiting Osoyoos.

Really nice property, great views, clean. Loved the heated pool and hot tubs. Pool service was terrible. Went to the restaurant to order a drink for the pool, no staff in sight. Asked the front desk if the restaurant was open, they then found an employee who stated that the silverware doesn’t polish itself as that was what he was doing. Despite this, I would definitely stay again but be more prepared to have lunch/drinks back in my room.

We stayed for 3 nights, it was fine. The building is definitely showing its age. The staff were very friendly but it seemed as though no one was in charge of any area and that made everything feel disorganized and chaotic. Our check in process was extremely slow, disorganized and frustrating for guests who had traveled 10 hours only to wait in a line up for 30-45 minutes just trying to get keys. Parking is great, we had a truck and had no issues with the parkade. The food is amazing at the restaurant on site, I would have eaten all my meals on site if the staff were more attentive, unfortunately when we went for breakfast there was a dining room full of people and no service staff to be seen. We waited at least 20 minutes for someone to notice us and give us a table. The service was great and the food was delicious. That poor waitress was running the entire restaurant, I really hope that is not the case every day. It is way too much work for one person. The pool and beach areas are nice but seem very unfriendly with all the signage about offsite alcohol and food not being allowed, but there is zero service staff to order a drink or snack from. The heated pool and hot tubs are very nice but again they have seen better days. Some areas on the hottub lip are quite sharp and its definitely an injury waiting to happen. Our keys were deactivated twice during our 3 day stay. The room was perfect, the bed was comfortable. Overall we wont be back but I hope they do better for others.

No room service that night or breakfast available next day, they ran out of toothpaste/toothbrush kits (they had the toothbrush but couldn’t find any toothpaste in the entire hotel). If I’d known we couldn’t get room service or breakfast, I would have booked another hotel.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The front desk agent was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions and also gave us early heck in.

The front desk manager was extremely rude. We had an incident with our parking garage access - that was 100% her fault. She finally admitted that she purposely disabled the key. But still did not apologize until I demanded that she did - which was pointless by that time. Has left a dark cloud over our stay.

Walnut surpassed our expectations by a mountain & a lake , not a country mile! So relaxing. So accommodating. We stayed longer than planned. The property & staff were excellent. It’s a 10! Going again!

Amazing staff and beautiful property.

Quiet and good location by the lake and easy access to the lake. Parking at nights could be problematic if you are there for a long weekend!

This hotel is in a quiet and safe location and is on the east shore of Lake Osoyoos. The hotel has underground parking and is a walkable distance to restaurants.

A compact property, quiet, and at a good location in Osoyoos. I appreciated the underground parking (although it is tight! Too many pickups and trucks!) and the beach location is nice albeit small.

Walnut Beach is an absolutely beautiful hotel resort. Private beach, quiet away from the main roads. Wonderful amenities and close to so many things.

All was good. dining can be improved

The food at the hotel restaurant was very mediocre, flavourless, there was only 2 tables of 4 people each while we were there, our food was wrong, cold and had to be sent back. We got the pasta deal. The hotel is also not very sound proof, we could hear every single foot step, door closing and conversation from beside us and above us.

The property is nice. Pool area is great. Did not spend any time at the beach, but it looked great. The restaurant was very disappointing. They have a small menu, and a good portion of those items, as well as some drinks, were not available. Service (from kitchen) was very slow. Food was alright.

The restaurant quality and freshness of the food could be better for the cost.

Great amenities & location. The Thursday Pasta special was great. Looking forward to coming back and staying more than 1 night.

Everything about this day was amazing with the exception of the dining room. Those the service was good… There was so many items on the food list that were not available to us. Apparently back order. In case it’s like this… The chef should come up with alternatives.

Overall the place is very nice. But very much lacking those details you expect at a higher end resort. The food sounded delectable, unfortunately came less than luke warm and please don’t order desert, it was dry and old. I do understand the issues of running a restaurant on the off season. But please, only offer what you can make well. The bathroom in the room appeared to have lovely toiletries. Unfortunately they were all watered down and u useable. I chose not to complain while at the resort as it was my birthday and I did not want to spend my time complaining. However, these things were disappointing.

Everything was great besides our visit at the restaurant unfortunately I think we might have been forgotten about as we only ordered appetizers and it took almost an hour to get them and once received you could tell it was rushed.
