Huge impressing grounds but then a tiny pool and nothing behing the hotel so nowhere to really go for a walk. Rooms don't have AC so it was HOT (though they do provide a fan). On the plus side, the staff are amazing and try and help out even when things go wrong at dinner (over crowded one night and took forever the next)! Great location for Winchester and surrounding.

Overall a very good stay. Room spacious, bright and quite. Well equipped. All the staff very friendly and helpful. We were travelling with a dog and she was very we catered for and everyone made a fuss of her. Breakfast was buffet (which suited us) plentiful, varied and tasty. We had our own seating area outside the restaurant for the inclusion of the dog but were made to feel very comfortable. Spa, although nice was, I feel dated. It had sufficient facilities, and staff again were lovely, but it was more gym than zen. There were facilities for children only swims and aqua aerobics if you felt inclined. All clearly stated on a hand out sheet at book in. The hotel is sprawling but you soon get your bearings and soon learn the cut throughs. Bar was relaxing and again excellently staffed. Overall a most enjoyable, and welcoming stay. Cannot highlight a staff member as all were very very good. Plenty of grounds for dog walking. One idea - maybe a picnic area - weather was excellent and we sat on the grass near our room to eat lunch. It would be lively to have designated picnic area.

We had a lovely weekend break. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool area was great with a large steam room,sauna and good changing areas. Breakfast was very nice with a good variety and items you could order. The only issue we had was access to the ev chargers. The hotel did not know the cost of using the chargers, and from the app they did not seem to work.

Well worth the money as although hotel spa was small it was very quiet on the Friday, so facilities were available and not packed. Hotel staff were all very friendly and professional. A really lovely find and very easy to get into Winchester.

The breakfast was buffet help yourself. It was a good selection of cooked and continental. The broom was a great size and the bed was really comfortable. The Pool and leisure facilities were very good.

A lovely stay at the Norton Park Hotel. A good nights sleep and a great breakfast the next morning. The only disappointment was the pool. It was Freezing !!! My wife who loves to swim could not even get in it. But all in all a good stay.

The staff were nice and that’s the only polite thing I can really say . The bed was the only thing clean in our Superior room .The dust was disgusting, I had to wash the tea cups as they still had stains from the previous people, the four glasses in the room had to be washed . The toilet was covered in human pubic hair and splashed by faeces. Went to have a shower and found even more pubic hairs . Brought this to the intention of the duty manager. Short story was moved to another room where the air con didn’t work . Furious I explained this was not good enough. Thankfully a lady called June finally sorted us out a working air on room and gave us a free drink. Will not be revisiting this hotel .

Room not very clean, bathroom tile on floor. Mould on shower door paint splashes up door. Kept awake all night by the noisy wedding guests. Promised breakfast to go back at 5am night looked for 15 mins couldn’t find it. Smoke alarm had tissue attached !

My bathroom was dirty, shower door was a nightmare to open, shower head clasp didn’t work meaning trying to shower and rinse my hair was an issue. No air con and was not advised in this prior to check in. Pool area dirty and pool is packed with kids until 6pm so not ideal. It’s just an unpleasant environment generally not a relaxing spa! In the bar I Waited 45 mins for a sandwich and they were not busy! In the evening the Restaurant was so hot it was impossible to say too long so we ate just a main meal. At 10pm I went to reception to discuss my room’s issues. When I spoke to a male member of staff about my bathroom he was rude, unhelpful and defensive. The staff generally need training in customer service most of which was pretty appalling. It’s such a shame as it has the potential to be a nice hotel but clearly they need to tighten their cleaning procedures and room checks the stay was sub par. I stay in a lot of hotels and for £176 this was overpriced and not what I was expecting. To be spoken to like I was piece of dirt is unacceptable and frankly being nice costs nothing! I was not asking for refund merely informing of the problem so the next guest didn’t experience what I did.

Wonderful stay, the hotel is in beautiful grounds and all the staff are amazingly friendly, professional and courteous. The rooms were a great size with all the normal Amenities. Whilst it was all clean, I would say that the bathroom required a deep clean, but that would be picky. The dog loved the grounds as well, he had a great time.

The room was clean but noisy as it was near the fitness centre. Could hear people walking past and talking etc, however mostly stopped after 7.30pm when centre closed. Bar staff were super friendly and helpful. Had very late breakfast (after 10am) and still lots of food.

We stayed here for a night while attending a wedding nearby and our stay was very pleasant. The staff were helpful and accommodating and the breakfast was pleasant enough. The hotel accommodation is set over a large area so there might be a bit of a walk from the hotel reception to your room but the rooms are fine for a short stay. Clean and comfy with good water pressure. Would stay again.

The team on site was very friendly and helpful but the state of the room was pretty dated. My sheets were stained and had a hole in them. There was very little water pressure and even found a hair in the shower. That being said, the mattress was comfortable, and considering the fact they were fully booked, it was pretty quiet, I actually slept quite well.

Friendly welcome, however unfortunately things deteriorated quickly after that. The room was not overly clean. Tile had come off the bathroom wall. Shower screen mouldy. Smoke alarm had toilet roll round it. Arranged for breakfast to go at 5am but they couldn’t find them after a 20 min wait. Extremely noisy room kept awake most of the night by wedding guests.

Arrived early,we were told it would be £25to check in before 3pm.As we looked like nice ladies that would be waivered. Room was ready. Room189. Felt extremely cold, windows were slightly open as room smelt slightly musty. Started to unpack and noticed how dusty the room was. On the glass surfaces you were able to write your name in the dust. Also along the bed head wiping with your finger you could create a small pile of dust! The upturned water glasses had a layer of dust on them. The glass shelves in the bathroom were also covered with obvious dust. We mentioned this and were offered the room opposite which was also extremely dusty so we remained in room 189. We were told that these rooms were used regularly which I dispute. Would think it had not been used for a few weeks. The beds were comfortable. The ladies toilet , near the the bar , had no hand towels in it for the whole time we stayed at the hotel! I booked our room on 5th march 2025. I was meeting a friend of 55 years and looking forward to meeting up for a couple of days. May 19th to May 21st We spoke to the Manager who offered us a complimentary drink at the bar for the inconvenience! Our get together was tarnished by this incident!

We had booked two room for a family’s over night stay. One of the room was dirty with a cotton bud which someone had used on their ear and a champagne bottle top were under the desk. The bathroom was dirty with hair in the shower / bath area , towels were used and one one and the bathrobes had makeup around the neck of the robe. The other room was clean and tidy . The breakfast area appeared disorganised . But it was busy with I assume wedding guests .

Apart from a little dust by the radiator, the room, bed and bathroom were very clean and very well appointed. Large tv. Plenty of tea making facilities. Fridge, with bottles of water, safe, ironing board and iron. Lovely.

Towel replacement and a room service missed on 2 of the 3 nights that we stayed. Had to chase up reception in the evening when we returned as nothing had been done. Reception staff initially maintained that it was not part of contract. Rude guest pestered us on arrival, which reception staff found humorous instead of dealing with. Room located at farthest end of Hotel even though plenty of empty rooms in central area.

Me & my wife stopped over for 1 night on the way to Southampton for our Cruise, lovely place to stay, very warm conditions but the Air Con in our room was very poor struggled to sleep. Went for something to eat in the bar but had no Fish & Chips left & didn't fancy anything else on the menu so jumped in the car travelled 3 miles to a local pub The Swan had a fantastic meal 10 out of 10

Stayed here for a night, and found the overall experience to be good but nothing outstanding. Staff member on check in was really friendly and informative. Room was of a good standard with a comfortable bed but the bathroom was cramped and could have done with more attention to detail in terms of cleanliness e.g. mouldy grout, only 1 bath towel between 2 guests. Lack of toiletries, I guess in an attempt to be eco friendly but would have been nice in a spa hotel. Nice to be able to use the pool and spa facilities. Restaurant was decent and staff in there were very attentive. Man who checked us out quite rude, no good morning no how was your stay, just "Room number?" so no opportunity to feed back.

Norton as a hotel was fine, bit lacking in care with the breakfast outdoor seating area. Room we had was quiet and plenty of room. But they ran out of water for the rooms on the second night. Breakfast on the second morning being bank holiday weekend was a sham. Coffee machines dishing out very weak coffee and that was the ones working, ran out of yogurt, pastries, glasses and mugs. Let alone the sporadic hot food coming out and quite a que forming!! we walked into breakfast and no clear tables to sit at, a lot hadn't been cleared. so sat outside. no sight of a manager to help their staff out in the hotel!!!

Unfortunately we arrived the day after the hotel had been full by a large group and the staff had great difficulty in catching up, rooms delayed, breakfast a bit of a mess up, this is the third stay at this hotel, previously excellent.

Reception staff and welcome was great. Hotel room was 2 buildings behind the hotel and was very dated. The room was cold but there was a storage heater to use. Food was very expensive considering the quality was poor. We waited an hour for our food order which once we complained, it came out straight away and was not hot. It had clearly been sat waiting to be served. There was obviously another function as big trays of food were being taken past. Gym was good and well kitted out.

Nice check in and checkout but unfortunately everything else was let down by service or lack of it should I say. The so called restaurant and in particular breakfast was one of the worst experiences. I will not list them. It was unclean, dysfunctional and totally understaffed by people who had t a clue about hospitality and service. If I could give it a big fat zero I would, sorry

Service in the bar yesterday early evening was very poor, not the staff fault just understaffed, at one time there was a queue of over 20 waiting So busy I couldn't order food. No room service either, you had to order at the bar!! Very disappointed

Paid for late check out was woken up no less than four times by housekeeping even with a do not disturb sign on the doors. Shame to see the restaurant not open on a Sunday lunchtime either.

A conveniently placed hotel to visit attractions in the area. Plenty of parking & lovely grounds. The standard room was a good size and clean, with everything required for a 2 night stay including a fridge. The shower was great! The breakfast buffet was well stocked with all the items you would want & the only issue was that if you wanted dark toast or had to go through the toaster 3 times! The check in & out processes were smooth and all the staff courteous & helpful. An issue with the heating in the room was satisfactorily resolved within 10 minutes of a call to reception. Would stay again.

Hotel and facilities were good but could only eat evening meal at hotel due to distance from anything else. The service was poor and lacked organisation. The outgoing manager was more clock watching until 9.30 instead of looking after tables that had booked for after 8. It took 20 mins after we were seated for our order to be taken. Starters arrived 20 minutes later and drinks about 5 mins after that once we reminded the waiter that we had not yet had our drinks. Food was just about ok, steak over cooked. After 9.30pm there were just 2 staff left to look after the tables and they were lovely. Shout out to Alex for his service which helped to save a poor meal.

Great hotel to stay in for a trip to Winchester if you don't mind a short drive into town. Lovely hotel with good clean rooms. Nice breakfast. Dog friendly although we did think a £25 surcharge for a dog was steep. £10 would be fairer.

Arrived in the dark so didn’t realise the car park was a distance from the hotel. The hotel is very spread out. Must be a lovely location in the summer. Nice welcoming reception and comfortable room. Took advantage of sauna and steam room.

Food - Not good - Ordered and told after no food available - Both starter and main came out at the same time - Then 20mins later - Brought same food back out - that had been put under heat - It was hard and burnt . Did not want to eat here again

There were 20 of us staying here for the weekend. Everyone agreed it’s a smart, cool, friendly hotel with good decor. Rooms are very clean, bed comfy, shower good etc. Friendly staff, lovely spa area, not too busy. BUT We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the service is not good. They clearly need training with regard to splitting the bill across rooms in a more efficient way. And the food is very average for what you pay, and the portions are small. (But the fish and chips / burgers looked fine). Bar staff are brilliant and very accommodating. All in all, a very good place for large groups, just need to sort out the restaurant menu / portions / service.

This is the seventh time we have stayed here and unfortunately each time has gotten worse than the last time! If you are prepared to wait an insane amount of time to be served bar food and then receive cold food then this is the place for you!!! Staff are generally good but understaffed, we keep giving them another chance but im not sure why

The most comfortable bits and pillows we’ve ever slept in. The mattress was divine we truly had a beautiful sleep. The breakfast however was shocking there were so many people queueing the kitchen kept running out of breakfast items on myself queued for 25 minutes and when I got to the breakfast counter, I had to wait for another 10 minutes because, they had run out of eggs and bacon.

Overall a good hotel, it was smart and clean with great grounds and facilities . The only slight disappointment was the prices and quality of the food! A chicken Caesar salad at £20.50 you would have expected a little more than a small amount of salad with a fairly tasteless dressing, around 5 small croutons and a dry, barely warm piece of charred chicken breast. The breakfast was also a bit of a shambles as not one of the staff really looked after the hot buffet. The buffet ran out as soon as it hit the hot plate, so you then had to find a member of the service team to see if they could get some more food out . The hotel in our eyes could be much better if there was just an eye for detail in the service and food quality as it was a wonderful experience other than this.
