Room was ok and had a decent sleep, could do with a lick of paint throughout but wasnt in hotel that much anyways so fine to sleep and shower. Staff were friendly but seemed very overworked and could do with a few more. Breakfast was very disappointing and we didnt bother going down the second morning, you also have to order it the day before. Im guessing its still better than a lot of b&b’s though but unsure whether i would return here

The staff were very friendly and rooms clean. Breakfast could be improved by being warmer. Managed to park in one of the 5 bays for the 2 days we stayed. Only very slight niggle about breakfast from my friends.

Raffles on Hornby Road is a gorgeous small independent hotel that makes an instant impression with its stunning lounge and bar area, alongside genuinely beautiful bedroom decor. Our room was a little on the smaller side, and the television positioned facing only one bed could make movie nights tricky on a stormy evening in, but the room itself was cozy. While the shower took a moment to get going, replacing it with a modern dual-head rainfall shower system would be a fantastic finishing touch to the room's comfort. What truly sets Raffles apart and elevates it far above standard Blackpool accommodations, however, is the exceptional breakfast. Served in a beautiful, elegant dining room, the food quality and presentation were flawless. Alongside cereals, yoghurts, and great coffee, the little touches of sophistication were wonderful—like chilled apple juice served in elegant stemmed glassware, and fresh milk brought out in charming little individual glass bottles. As a visually impaired guest, my son read through the menu options for me, starting with the full English and porridge before we spotted the Eggs Benedict. It turned out to be one of the absolute best I have ever had—the eggs were spot-on and the hollandaise sauce was rich and perfect. It is a rare, high-end treat that feels miles away from typical Blackpool hotel fare and ranks as one of the finest breakfasts I have ever enjoyed in the area. Overall, a truly special boutique stay.

Friendly and attentive staff, lovely fresh hot cooked breakfast with quality bacon/sausage, not cheap rubbish! Cosy bar area, very close to Coral Island, but quiet at night. Ten mins walk to Opera House if seeing a show. Free parking, tea, coffee & water in room. Good competitive price for how central it is. Well done all!

Positives - good breakfast, parking outside hotel. Negatives - room very small, never had any maid service to empty bins, bathroom sink was dirty, the sink plug was covered in mould and cleaned this ourselves, towels were old and fraying, one pillow (not pillow case) smelt of dried human sweat and when I asked for this to be changed I was told they didn't have any spare ones. Never felt safe especially after sunset walking along Hornby Road. Not a 4* hotel in my opinion.
