The description said there was a fridge. There was no fridge and one single towel to share between two adults. The bathroom window did not lock and outside the window was a flat roof. Other amenities were also missing and again listed as having them.

The place was well maintained except for dirty breakfast plates which were still on the dining table when we arrived in the afternoon, and our room was comfortable and very clean. Parking was convenient and proximity to Heathrow Airport was great. The two complaints we had would be about the staff (manager). We arrived 10 minutes before check-in and rang both doorbells, knocked, and called the phone number to no avail. Finally banged on the knocker several times and she finally answered. She was slurring words and staggering some! We realized she had been in the back drinking wine. She asked us to come back in 30 minutes. Additionally, we set a breakfast time for 9:00 the next morning. When we got to breakfast the table was still dirty from other guests' plates. We waited for 10 minutes and then looked around and called for the manager. We never found her and basically got no breakfast, which had been included in our room price. Talking to another couple this (no breakfast) happened to others the day before us.

This is a difficult one to rate. The service is warm and friendly and the building is wonderful. It's a great location with free parking during the stay and a great price for parking if you're flying from Heathrow and staying before your flight. It's a short bus ride to the Elizabeth Line so you're about an hour or so to central London and for the price, that's fantastic value. But the bed was very uncomfortable and the room is pretty spartan. It was generally very clean but there was no liner in the bathroom bin (but an old teabag at the bottom!) and no other bin. There's also no fridge in the room and it was very warm so we didn't buy any fresh milk for tea. I think I would come back if I had a morning flight from Heathrow and possibly if I wanted somewhere economic to stay whilst working in central London. But my wife did not get on with the bed and so might be reluctant.

Really lovely stay, I highly recommend. Sarah was very warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely cooked breakfast. I asked about airport taxis and was given honest price options and we used the local bus £1.75 each way, very easy 5 mins walk to main road. Also offered £5 per day holiday parking in opposite off road car park. We intend to visit again next time travelling from Heathrow.

I chose the Inn based on the location being near Heathrow. The GPS didn’t get me to the right spot at first, but once I found it, it was easy to check-in and they provide parking. The room was large with a nice bathroom. The bed was comfortable. I didn’t have breakfast because I was heading to the airport, but the dining area was clean and had a Victorian vibe like you’d find in an old house. Sarah was pleasant and helpful. I recommend!

Wonderful for anyone travelling from Heathrow. Only a few miles from the airport, parking and a cooked breakfast included. A cozy place, run by Sarah who could not do enough to make our stay comfortable. We shall definitely be going back here the next time we fly out of Heathrow.

Close to airport, very quiet, very comfortable bed. Beautiful old house. Lovely breakfast room. Home cooked breakfast. A great introduction to England:). I had a very good stay, the room was big, bed very comfortable. Around 10mins away from Heathrow. The only downside is that the room was a bit dusty (not a big deal for me), I’ll definitely come back.

We reserved a room with two twin beds and when we arrived they said, "Oh, well, we don't have that room" I said, I reserved this room and showed them the reservation and they just shrugged and said they didn't have it. Room was very dirty with debris on the carpet, cobwebs everywhere, microwave had grease and food in it. Bed didn't have a top sheet. Bathroom had no wash cloths or hand towels. Description said there was tea service in the room and there was none.

Beautiful, charming house in a lovely area. Very quiet and peaceful. Was nice staying in such a gorgeous historical home. Beds were very comfy and we had a very good nights sleep. Lovely pub nearby, the 5 bells. Room was just what we wanted (although could have done with a long length mirror for me to do my hair with). Great breakfast. Thanks- a great jewel of a find.

We had booked the small double bedroom which was adequate for an overnight stay after a long flight. However, provisions were a bit basic with no space for a bedside cabinet on one side of the bed, no dustbin and one of those compact self contained grp shower, sink and WC units. On the plus side there was a tasty cooked breakfast and a pleasant hostess. Locally, in the village there were two friendly pubs that served food.

Quirky building,our room was clean and warm .Situated off the village green and within easy reach of dining options. Seemed to be ran by one lady and there were items missing in th breakfast room, laundry bags lying on a dresser. Our newly fitted out bathroom was the tiniest and above the rectangular sink was a glass shelf that was so low down due to a sloping ceiling (under stairs) that you couldn’t get your head over the basin to brush your teeth or wash easily! I think the lady might need a bit of help to make this a successful hotel .

The Guesthouse is lovely! We felt like we were royalty our room was so vast. It even has a fireplace! The location is quite close to Heathrow Airport, but so quiet and comfortable. There are also 2 traditional pubs just down the street that offer amazing food and beverages. We will definitely stay here again.

Communication was none existent, only way to contact was email. Lovely accomadation but both days of my stay I requested breakfast at 07.30 which was arranged. Neither day was anyone providing this so because of needing to be somewhere had to go without. This is terrible service & not value for money. Contacted host on return home with my thoughts & had no response. Such a pity as somewhere I would have used again.

I was not able to stay at at this property - no one was there to check us in even though we continuously rang the doorbell and knocked on the door for hours. Completely unacceptable. The most ridiculous experience I've had.

We needed a comfortable bed, close to the airport to meet an extremely early flight.And it was just the ticket. Sarah also was very helpful to me in getting some car keys from someone who loaned us their car --and holding on to them for safekeeping until I checked in. She also cooked us the most marvelous English breakfast. Thanks, Sarah.

I was supposed to stay there and a few hours before my arrival they text me and said that they were not going to be able to accommodate me because of flood. I understand fine. They said that they will shift me to another hotel compatible to theirs which was fine. So I then arrived at the other hotel which was shocking. Twin beds with only 16” between and the wall. No table, chairs, dressing table, or closet. Only two twin beds in a tiny room. Tried to contact them but with no responds. I truly was taken advantage of. We wanted to end my vacation in a beautiful place but ended up in shock.

SCAM - They scammed us! They cancelled our stay on the morning, did not provide a refund and placed us in a more expensive hotel - which we had to pay for on arrival. No reimbursement they have just taken our money and made us more out of pocket with the additional costs of Premier Inn.

Wonderful for anyone travelling from Heathrow. Only a few miles from the airport, parking and a cooked breakfast included. A cozy place, run by Sarah who could not do enough to make our stay comfortable. We shall definitely be going back here the next time we fly out of Heathrow.

Expedia says the property is 1.3 miles from Heathrow which is true if you happen to be a bird. It takes 6.5 miles to and £25.00 to get there each way. Pretty building but the inside could use some reorganizing but friendly and helpful inn keeper

We enjoyed our short stay at this Guesthouse. Wished we could have used the garden patio but our time was short. From LHR it was a quick ride costing £1.75 one way from the bus terminal in front of terminal 4 at the airport. Would love to stay at this heritage home again.

This is a difficult one to rate. The service is warm and friendly and the building is wonderful. It's a great location with free parking during the stay and a great price for parking if you're flying from Heathrow and staying before your flight. It's a short bus ride to the Elizabeth Line so you're about an hour or so to central London and for the price, that's fantastic value. But the bed was very uncomfortable and the room is pretty spartan. It was generally very clean but there was no liner in the bathroom bin (but an old teabag at the bottom!) and no other bin. There's also no fridge in the room and it was very warm so we didn't buy any fresh milk for tea. I think I would come back if I had a morning flight from Heathrow and possibly if I wanted somewhere economic to stay whilst working in central London. But my wife did not get on with the bed and so might be reluctant.

I chose the Inn based on the location being near Heathrow. The GPS didn’t get me to the right spot at first, but once I found it, it was easy to check-in and they provide parking. The room was large with a nice bathroom. The bed was comfortable. I didn’t have breakfast because I was heading to the airport, but the dining area was clean and had a Victorian vibe like you’d find in an old house. Sarah was pleasant and helpful. I recommend!

Communication was none existent, only way to contact was email. Lovely accomadation but both days of my stay I requested breakfast at 07.30 which was arranged. Neither day was anyone providing this so because of needing to be somewhere had to go without. This is terrible service & not value for money. Contacted host on return home with my thoughts & had no response. Such a pity as somewhere I would have used again.

The place was well maintained except for dirty breakfast plates which were still on the dining table when we arrived in the afternoon, and our room was comfortable and very clean. Parking was convenient and proximity to Heathrow Airport was great. The two complaints we had would be about the staff (manager). We arrived 10 minutes before check-in and rang both doorbells, knocked, and called the phone number to no avail. Finally banged on the knocker several times and she finally answered. She was slurring words and staggering some! We realized she had been in the back drinking wine. She asked us to come back in 30 minutes. Additionally, we set a breakfast time for 9:00 the next morning. When we got to breakfast the table was still dirty from other guests' plates. We waited for 10 minutes and then looked around and called for the manager. We never found her and basically got no breakfast, which had been included in our room price. Talking to another couple this (no breakfast) happened to others the day before us.

I arrived during a heat wave in UK, and was dismayed to find there was no air conditioning. I was doubly dismayed when the solution was a fan and an open window with no screen. And yet, it was fine. There were no flies or mosquitos. The fan was enough to make the room comfortable. The hostess was very accommodating and got up early to make my full english breakfast. Very good value for money.
