Staff was hit and miss. 1 told us she just works weekends and can't help address any issues. We had another who was extremely helpful in any way she could be. The property is in rough shape. Ice machines were disgusting (only one that even worked!) We had a room by the stairs. The door was broken and SLAMMED every time someone used it, all day and night! Towels were very thin which could be expected but they actually had large holes in them as well. It seemed that every person had an issue with their TVs. We talked to several people who said it still didn't work even after they came and looked at it.

Stayed here one night while traveling. Staff was very friendly and helpful with local restaurants advice. Even though an outdoor motel, it has an elevator to get to second floor. Was clean, quiet, and good for the budget. Would stay again.

Several construction workers loudly played music outside and drank. Pool was not what we expected. The room was clean but bathroom needed an upgrade. They ran out of morning coffee and hot water for tea or cereal.

Room was filthy. Stains on bedding, stains/ food on walls, Chair had stains all over it, tv didn't work, smelled like mildew/ mold, looks like throw up on light by bed, and light bulbs out. Both beds have a huge dip in the middle and need to be replaced. Also, towels look yellow. Pretty disappointed in the stay. Would not recommend nor would I stay here with my family again.

I was very upset because we used a hotels.com gift card that now seems to have been wasted. To start photos did not match room we were given. when first entering it smelled wet like mildew. We had to open the window to air it out. The tub had rust and the carpet seemed damp. when returning home our suitcase had a roach in it along with another bag we brought.

Filthy carpets, ac smelled and was hardly functional, sheets/towels may have been clean but were dingy. Could smell what our neighbors were smoking. Didn’t even bother to check out breakfast..just wanted to leave asap. One wall was updated in our room, but otherwise the furniture, walls, tiles, carpet and fixtures were busted. Pretty sure the toilet was leaking bc the bathroom floor was quite wet in the morning.

Horrible- the room smelled like mildew, it was bug infested, I pulled back the cover on the bed, the bed had been slept in and re-made. There were stains on the sheets and long black hair (not mine, I’m blonde). I spent all of 3 min in the room and left. The best part was the girl at the checkout who understood and refunded my trip. This place is hazardous.

The staff was super friendly, but the rooms were disgusting. It looked clean at first look, but once you sit in the bed you can just see roaches crawling everywhere. From babies to full grown ones it’s was truly disgusting. I had higher hopes, but they were crawling on the night stand, the walls, dresser, bathtub, and more. I even went and got fast food and sat my drink down on the night stand and I look over and there are 2 roaches crawling on it!!!

The Tv did not work. Three of the 4 lights over the sink were burned out. Soap holder in the tub was missing and there was lots of mold where it use to be located. The mattresses were extremely worn. However, the staff was extremely nice when I cheked in on Saturday.

The motel itself is basic. The first room we got smelled absolutely horrible, like burning plastic. We quickly discovered that the microwave had suffered a fire of some sort and the microwave door was melted. The smoke detector had been completely removed from the wall, the furniture was extremely dirty and the bed covers had multiple burn marks on them. I requested a room change. The second room smelled better, but was pretty dirty. There is a white paste-like splash of something on the night table, but I am trying not to focus on it, because there are not any other rooms available.

Went to the room after checking in....no TV! The place looked fairly empty so why would I get checked into a room with no TV. They brought one and the remote had no back so batteries falling out. The "free" Wifi was SOOOO SLOW, I couldn't open new messages in my gmail account. Nothing was available for breakfast either.

I stay at this location pretty regularly every check in is a mystery. You never know what you will walk into when you open the door. I have never got a room that had everything it’s supposed to. Either missing a TV, microwave is missing or broke, no fridge, cable out, missing couch mattress list goes on.

Severe cricket problem. Don't put anything on the floor, including shoes because crickets will be in your shoes in the morning. Turn on the lights so you don't step on them in the middle of the night! During my recent visit, the ice machine was out of order. The night clerk shared a bag of ice, which was above and beyond. In the morning, a medical situation arose, and the manager denied my request for a short extension to checkout. Most hotels will allow a few hours delay for a partial charge of the room rate. Not here! It didn't matter that this request was related to medical needs. Manager had NO empathy or offered any solutions. Attitude was "too bad. Wont help you". Manager was not empowered to achieve customer satisfaction. Overall, it makes sense why this property is 2stars!! They could try and do much better!

Positives: quiet property. Close to wherever you want to go, staff is super friendly. It’s an old property with stained carpet, and beat up furniture. But we wanted cheap, and for what we paid abs needed it for was good. Check if your door locks because the first room we were at someone glued the lock. We discovered as we were leaving for dinner. They immediately moved our rooms, but it wasn’t the same amenities (we booked king). No coffee maker in rooms but there is in the lobby. Breakfast is basically cereal and grab n go. But there is a food truck (Lupe’s) walking distance that’s incredible.

This is a hotel for constructions workers. When my teenage daughter and I checked in early Sunday everything seemed okay. But late evening and Monday the hotel was filled with construction laborers. Every afternoon it was filled with guys in the parking lot drinking, playing music and smoking. I wish the hotel management gave my daughter and I heads up this might not be the hotel for you. We felt very unsafe and uncomfortable. The property it’s self isn’t horrible but needs some work. The hotel staff is friendly.

The AC did not put out cool air and the AC made an awful noise.. made it hard to sleep. The bathroom door did not completely shut and the sink faucets were filthy. The front desk staff was very friendly. Not much of a breakfast, we decided not to eat. It was very minimal selection.

The price is ok, some bugs on the floor inside the room. Tv is slow and often unresponsive, with the signal cutting out at times. Breakfast options are limited, Cereal and milk, oatmeal, yogurt, orange and apple juice, and muffin or hunny bun. Portions are small The water was hot and fast and the beds were clean. Overall I would not mind going again at the current costs.

No real problems, late night check in desk clerk was nice. But on Business I specifically choose hotels with breakfast, cereal and muffins aren't breakfast. Its lazy. Need a hot option. Room was clean an spacious. Again overall the breakfast was the only real thing that turned me off.

It is not the newest hotel in Stephenville, but they have updated the property. It was a good hotel room, bed was very soft. It was clean and quiet. Breakfast is mainly cereal, but that didn’t bother us.

When I checked, the worker, who was very nice, said that i checked in with a master card, even though I paid with a visa. This was very unusual as this never happened before. She said it might have been the travelocity website. This made check in more difficult. The room had bugs and had a cigarette smell. This may have been myfault as I didnt choose a nonsmpking room, but i didnt think it was necessary. The breakfast was lame because it was only cereal, small yogurts, and preqrapped muffins.
