Excellent entertainment bingo every night can pay for food at hotel. If you want it I did struggle for parking and received a parking ticket even though it was on the hotel land, but apparently we needed a permit. We did ask staff if it was okay to park here which they said yes if we were staying at the hotel but didn’t mention we needed a permit only had one meal in the hotel and the food was very good

Really enjoyed our one night stay. Room warm clean and comfortable bed was great and plenty of towels. Staff excellent. Called ahead to see when we would be there. Very welcoming at check in. The entertainment really sets the hotel as soecial. Great compare and 3 top acts both doing sets in 2 seperate entertainment lounges meaning you got to see everybody who was on. Drinks reasonably priced and checkout at 10.30 is ideal for those of us who like a leisurely morning. A little jewel in blackpools crown and all very resonably priced. If you like proper traditional seaside and entertainment like ut was back in the great days give them a visit. You wont be dissappointed. Sunshine indoors.

Entertainment was good ,food was so-so ,2 lifts were broken during stay stairs to floor where room was very steep,even though i paid through hotels.com they somehow got my credit card details and charged me for 6 nights again, they admitted it was a mistake but it took me till last day to get a refund

This hotel has so much space 2 entertainment rooms with different acts on each night not too far from shops central pier and pubs and if you had a issue in the night the staff were more than helpful to sort the issue out. If you have dietary requirements they will make sure they have what you need before you come

The hotel was nice just stayed for 1 night to see what it was like. First impression good, reception staff very polite and friendly. Was able to park up then return back to check in. My only issue I had was when my partner and I came down for the evening entertainment they was nowhere to sit. The layout of the seating is not very good unfortunately we couldn’t see the entertainment only hear them from where we finally found a seat. Both rooms were extremely busy. Breakfast was nice, staff were pleasant. Overall we had a nice stay Thank you.

Room was way too hot, bathroom was very small, shower head dirty. Paid extra to check out late but was told we had to leave an hour sooner. Was given the room key but not told way to go apart from go in the lift and floor 1. Breakfast was poor, dinning room unorganised.

Our mattress was full of stains and found hair on it , rip on the bottom sheet, my husband had to stand on a chair to close window, chair wouldn't fit under desk, bathroom too small, i am disabled and unable to get to shower,had to sit on the toilet sideways , no room to sit properly

Bedding stained on arrival, had to pay additional 9.00 to park elsewhere. Mattress was awful not fit to sleep on, I had already had to report the bedding, and was told this bedding should have been rejected. The first night I noticed the mattress, but as we were only staying one more night I didn't want to have to report another issue nor move all my things to another room. These things should be checked by paid staff not paying customers

The lyndene was awful so much so we couldn’t stay there. General hotel was ok but our rooms were filthy. Tv & mirror all smear mark, walls & carpets very dingy and full of stains. Pubic hair in sink and last but not least bed covered in stains & blood. Needless to say we left and book elsewhere.

The breakfast was stated as buffet but actually wasn’t the food was on show so u could pick what you wanted but it was served to you, the reason I chose to pay for breakfast at the hotel was so I could pick my own but saying that the food was nice, the rooms need a good clean, although the bedding was clean and comfy beds, I had to move the bed to look for a plug socket, wish I hadn’t, thick with dust and the dressing table very sticky and stained.

The room was fairly clean but the bathroom smelt of urine , the entertainment in the evening was uncomfortably very loud . On our second night the room was freezing cold and there wasn’t any heating at all in the room , so this kept us awake an uncomfortable.The hotel itself was quite untidy tables were not cleared of left over food and drinks. Will not be returning to this hotel again

Terrible room above the main entertainment room. The bathroom door wouldn’t open fully as it banged against the bed. Road noise was awful, double glazing was completely useless. The volume from the acts during the evening until 12:45 was completely overwhelming. No warning from the receptionist about room. Won’t be staying there again.

The Lyndene is a nice hotel with quite good food and really good entertainment. However, I think they need to take a serious look at their processes and facilities. The price we paid for the room we had for 2 nights was quite simply extortionate. The room was so small and dated and the bathroom was difficult to turn around in! Things like the mirror being broken and the door paint all scuffed are easily fixed but there is no attention to detail. It just feels like get as many people in as possible. The breakfast was self service chaos, only 1 toast machine working. I don't care if they were waiting for parts, it wasnt good enough. Nothing is explained by staff, they just assume you know. Meals need more planning. Mange toute both nights and red cabbage to go with it!

Average stay but personally wouldn't return Pros: Staff were excellent, friendly, helpful - definitely a credit to the brand Bar reasonable priced Rooms spacious with good amenities eg good sized wardrobe dresser and hairdryer Clean Pizzas lovely and good price Cons We were in room 68 which meant we had to continually walk through the main entertainment area to get in or out, it was a bit awkward leaving the hotel midway through bingo Toilet very noisy to flush and shower floor very slippery Windows need double glazing replaced Bed is rock solid very uncomfortable to sleep on both of us woke up in pain Overall it was an average stay, personally we wouldnt return mainly due to the bed being so hard. Hotel itself is in need of a little revamp with windows and decorating and if they had softer matresses they would definitely be onto a winner. Couldnt fault the staff we interacted with.

Had a great stay at the Lyndene. Found all the staff lovely & helpful. Stayed half board which was definitely worth it, food was good, bar prces were reasonable. Entertainment was also good as 3 acts on each night. A special mention to Rebecca on reception, had a slight issue with our room, which she resolved quickly and with a smile. If back in Blackpool, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. :-)

The staff made the stay what it was.From the lovely receptionist on arrival to the helpful cleaner that guided us to our room we were given a great customer experience from start to finish.Room was lovely and clean and the shower was great.The hotel entertainment was super and the breakfast was lovely

We've stayed here numerous times over the past 30 yrs as a family, couple but it seems to have gone downhill. The majority of staff are unfriendly, unwelcoming, in the way they speak to people, very blunt and snappy, they make you feel wary to ask them anything, plus theres a strong smell of drains in reception, so off putting. The rooms look has though they have spilt them all in two, shoving beds and furniture were they sort of fit, and the shower..... if you're bigger person, forget it, you wont be able to get through the doors. The entertainment seemed to be really good, bingo prizes were very good, but like everywhere if you don't sit on a seat at 6pm theres no room. Breakfast was decent enough, the staff in there were nice and helpful. Overall we wouldn't go back, too many people and not enough room for them all.

We had no heating in our room (6) the first night there Friday. It was so cold we put our coats on the bed, early hours of Saturday morning, spoke to a lovely lady at reception, & within 30 mins there was someone there to sort it for us, so thank you. It was our 2nd stay there this year, entertainment was really good Shirley bassey was fantastic, food is always beautiful, so thank you once again for a lovely stay, be back in the new year. Love the Lindean..

Very slow check in, about 35 minutes. Requested coffee sachets from reception, after 8 hours went and collected them myself. My room was less than a minute away from reception; not impressive. Room and other facilities fine but spoiled by the former.

Very slow check in with no apology for the wait from the woman who finally dealt with me. Was told that the spaces along the road in the preferred parking were all booked out so I couldn't park there. They were not all booked out as empty spaces after 11pm so could have parked there. We were woken at 5am with the fire alarm due to some inconsiderate guest smoking in the room. No we will not be staying with you again

Perfect base for our 2 night stay in Blackpool. The Lyndene is located in a perfect, central position. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

A very good choice if you want a full on Blackpool experience. Half board gave us a full English breakfast each morning and a substantial four course evening meal. The hotel has three live local acts every evening plus bingo at various points throughout the day. The bedroom was snug but comfortable and the location of the Lyndene on the Promenade makes it convenient for the tram and exploring Blackpool on foot.

Lyndene Hotel was very Pleasant staff were helpful the room was very clean if a little on the small side but it was Ideal for weekend break,food was outstanding we enjoyed every mouthful and the day beagan with a breakfast which was more than expected (bravo to the team).If we ever go back to Blackpool the Lyndene will be my first stop.
