They had scammed everyone in the building and they had lied about having AC which they didn’t have and they demand a £50 cash deposit that they hadn’t mentioned anywhere in the booking. They have very rude and useless staff that accuse us of lying even though we had shown them proof that the booking had mentioned that they have AC and heating. They also were operating with another name in the hotel. On the website it was Las palemas hotel in real life it was called the palm beach hotel. They has said it’s not that big of an issue and that we are being ‘babyish.’ I would never recommend this place to anyone. They had also faulty lights on the way to the room and had stairs that wouldn’t stay in place and that would move around, that is a health and safety issue that you cannot ignore. 0/10 hotel please don’t book if you value your health, privacy, money, time or effort or if you have children it is not safe as the state of the building is worse than a condemned building.

This hotel is horrible and should be avoided by all means. The staff were rude. They asked for a deposit and I gave then my card but they refused and asked for cash only. In my check in instruction I have received from Expedia and hotel policy, there is no mention for cash. I have to walk for 10 mins for the nearest ATM. Next day in check out I realised why they asked for cash deposit as they want to rippe us by picking anything in the room to charge you. I had to wait for 15 mins for the guy to go to the room to check it and he came back and said the sink in the bathroom has toothpaste stains and asked me to pay for that or I have to clean it by myself and also to empty the rubbish bin!!. He went back to check the room again. It was obvious they are after the 50£ deposit. The location was not central or on the beach. The room size was small and had nothing apart from TV and bed. I am wondering why Expedia allows reservations through its platform. Form more than 20 years I have trusted Expedia and Ebooker to make my reservation with high stander hotel not such horrible hotel.
