Came for a one night stay on Sunday & loved it. Happy Hour at their bar is ALL DAY on Sunday’s starting at 4:30pm, good food & drinks. The pool/jacuzzi is open from 6am-10pm and that was nice as well. Check in was a breeze & the room was clean w/amenities. I will be back

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was very clean the staff was amazing and helpful very friendly. The staff that runs the kitchen/ breakfast is efficient and very friendly. Everything was smooth. The only thing was that the spa water wasn't hot it was barely warm

The room smelled like dog piss! I complained, but they didn’t try to make the room smell better. They were all booked up and couldn’t move me, but said they would talk to the manager and see if they could do something for me. That never happened.

Immaculately clean! Refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave, surfaces, bathroom, floor and switches. Great friendly service and follow up to ensure we were comfortable. Renee and Gabriela were great! Restaurant burgers were of great quality meat and prepared how we liked them. Great place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, Irvine. We got in pretty early, but they were very accommodating and had a room ready and available for us. The staff was kind. Excellent hotel in many ways. I had a very enjoyable stay. Very clean rooms. Very comfortable bed. I cannot complain about the hotel other than perhaps I wish they made the rooms a bit more spacious. I do want to make one remark however about the customer service I received. The gentleman named Cesar who checked me in was very unpleasant. From the moment I arrived to check in he had a demeanor about him as though I am arriving in his home and my presence was an inconvenience. I paid extra on the hotels.com for the breakfast buffet and when I mentioned it to him, he demanded I show him proof. I did show him the email that clearly states “breakfast buffet” under amenities included. It does not get more cut and dry than that yet he was still not convinced and responded in a very unrefined way “I don’t think you have it but I’ll give it to you anyway”. I was annoyed so I showed him the email again that states the proof. He denied it and got really animated with me saying “I am giving you the buffet so I’m not sure what the problem is”. I explained he was being rude and I walked away. Basically he made me feel like he was doing me a favor for something I actually paid for. This is horrible customer service. I really hope both he and the hotel management read this and take it upon themselves to not treat customers of the hotel that way. It is unnecessary and unwelcoming. I give the overall hotel a high rating it deserves but I hope Cesar works on his customer service skills.

I have stayed at this Hilton a lot while repairs are being done on my house. Whenever a client travels to see me, I always suggest it to them. But now I'm rethinking it. They now gouge you for everything. From parking to renting you a bottle opener or corkscrew. After checking in we went to their bar. We each ordered a drink and they were good but when we ordered the second round, he REUSED the "half-melted ice" from the previous round and the same glasses. When my client said Are you really using the old ice" his reply was, "I have to go down the hall for more ice and I am too busy to do that for just two drinks" My client lifted the glass to see if anything was floating. The bartender walked away without a word and about ten minutes later he returned. With an angry voice, he said he was closing early due to a lack of customers. (every barstool was occupied) This was 730pm on a Saturday night, and it says on the bar closing for food and drink at 10 pm. When one of the customers asked to finish his beer, the bartender said, "NO, I have to clean where you are sitting." He literally tossed everyone their bills. When I looked at the bill I was surprised by the price but I kept quiet. Then he looked at me and sarcastically said "If you have a problem with your bill, then go find a Hilton to complain to, I don't make the prices." I paid for the overpriced drinks even though he prevented us from completing the second one there. Then we left.

Housekeeping forgot to replenish Keurig coffee pods, as well as the disposable cups. I had to text front desk early in the morning as I needed to have a cup of coffee before leaving for the day.Front desk said, "a team member will be there shortly." After waiting for 30 mins, no one delivered the disposable cups, nor the coffee pods.I texted front desk again, they said, "sorry for the confusion. That housekeeping is not there yet. Will be in later"

The hotel is very nice. The biggest disappointment was how the staff handled the 3am fire alarm. There was minimal communication during the hour we were outside, and not a word said at checkout concerning the fairly significant inconvenience.

Our son just moved to college so we chose this hotel to stay the night for unpacking, etc. We are actually looking for a hotel to stay regularly when we are up visiting. Overall we liked the hotel. Very quiet (except the Clydesdale horse that was in the room above us, but not the hotel’s fault) Given that the hotel is right on the freeway, it is remarkably quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the lobby is lovely. Lots of snack options. The downside was the breakfast, not great, and the fact that they are trying to cram everyone into a small area for breakfast when there’s a rather large eating area, was irritating. I’m sure other items were good but we didn’t enjoy our breakfast at all. So we left. Mainly because one of the bussers/server insisted on mopping while we were eating. Such a turn off. When I politely asked the gentleman if he could wait a few minutes, he said “no, I have to mop before lunch.” Meanwhile there was hardly anyone even eating except the people crammed in the breakfast area. I’m mad I didn’t hold my ground, but my husband did speak with the fellow at the front desk and he comped our breakfast (not what I was after, but it was a nice gesture). I thought the guy mopping was rude and no one should have to smell bleach while trying to gag down over cooked eggs. Other than the breakfast fiasco, we might come back because it is a nice hotel, but hopefully this can be remedied in the future.

Very friendly staff, and had a very smooth check in. No parking issues. Rooms very clean and spacious. Good amenities - microwave fridge kurig safe. Bartender was the best and knowledgeable about local eats. Restaurant had great tasting food and inexpensive, especially happy hour. Would stay here again.
