Great location if you’re staying in the gaslight District close to Petco Park and there’s several restaurants and bars in walking distance. The valley parking was extremely expensive ( $60 per night) however there is several parking garages and street parking available if you’re able to grab it. We really enjoyed our stay! definitely would stay again!

The roof top bar was cool. The room was very nice and clean. Great stay for a padres game. It was a good room. The street entrance by Valet was kinda dirty for some reason but the hotel was very clean and nice on the inside. Parking is over priced.

This hotel was fine. The staff were friendly, and the daily room service was nice (I forgot how much I miss this post-covid). I was there during a time when the gym was shut down and then the water was shut off...which was not a big deal because it was overnight only for one night-- but whatever they were fixing resulted in a hammer drill and a lot of clanging ALL night. I couldn't sleep at all and I was a mess for my meeting the next day. They didn't even reduce the rate for the night. Every other night was good, but it took me days to recover after zero sleep and then no gym to work out the stress.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The gym was clean and the equipment was nice. Great açaí bowl at the 509 restaurant. The neighborhood was very walkable and close to the action. The only thing I did not like was the resort fee. As we already had a breakfast package, we spent most of the fee at the roof top bar/restaurant. Would have preferred more healthy take away snack food options .

Visit was a let down. Last time I was there the visit was close to perfect. This time, we were right underneath the rooftop restaurant. Very noisy, particularly last evening. Cleanliness lacking in that room was not correctly made . Another day inundated with Clorox. Slippery bathroom. Felt that resort fee was a rip off . Breakfast was excellent. Beautiful boutique hotel just a block from Petco Park. Very walkable and close to so many restaurants and Seaport Village. We were lucky to get a free parking space in front of the hotel. Easy walking area and safe. Hotel was very updated and had so many amenities such as water and snacks in the room. Free coffee and tea also. The rooftop bar is also spectacular! We absolutely loved this hotel and will definitely book here again!

Visited SD to celebrate wedding anniversary. Hotel is in great location near Petco park and even has a nice view of Petco field from Rooftop. Upon check in, the room we were provided was dirty, there was pubic hair on and around toilet. I provided pictures to front desk and we were moved to 722. The front desk attendant made it a point to state that housekeeping had just checked this new room and it was clean. Issues; went to take a shower and shower soap was empty, housekeeping had to bring a new bottle, the hard vinyl floors were sticky and dirty. Tried to secure our valuables in safe and it is not bolted to top of closet shelf and almost fell on my head. The safe is just sitting, protruding from closet shelf. Very heavy, a bad accident waiting to happen. My husband rolled over in bed next morning found an empty vodka bottle left from prior guest on shelf under night stand. As we were checking out, we looked under bed and discovered underwear from previous guest along with trash and a hair tie. The hotel hallways were dirty with crumbs and debris. There was a half eaten cookie sat on the table outside of 7th floor elevator for over a day. The rooftop bar, service from Felix was the best thing about this hotel. Michael front desk attendant was also really nice. We explained a glass had accidentally slipped off counter in bathroom in our room and broken. He was gracious and thanked us for letting him know. Side note, drinking glasses provided in bathroom near toilet is gross.

I was having a great stay. Food is excellent and staff is very professional. Everything was excellent until on my second night I found part of a condom wrapper in my bed so I decided to rip the sheets and found disgusting stains on the mattress cover it was 2:30 am and I had to check out by 6am. Did not get any sleep after that. Then as I was making coffee I found a half rotten orange under the coffee table. Cleaning staff need to do a better job. I took pictures and showed counter staff on my way out. That is all. Thanks.

PROS: Nice, modern hotel. Rooms were very spacious with lots of storage and a safe. Beds were very comfortable, especially the pillows. Bathroom was large and spacious as well. Restaurant for breakfast was nice with good options, along with the bar in the evening which had a good range of food and drinks. Staff were polite and helpful. CONS: Shower heads could do with a clean as the holes were clogged and didn't let that much water out. Room servicing was very good, however they always seemed to arrive in the late afternoon when we were using the room so we had to leave and come back which was frustrating. Our main negative was how expensive the hotel is. The daily charges of £25 dollars added to your bill at the end for amenities was a bit much - so really the free WiFi and free water was not actually free! I'd stay again but would have to think about all the additional charges first.

Overall a pretty below average experience for our three night stay. On the plus side, the hotel is centrally located. The rooms are small but nice. They provide two free bottles of water. Very nice rooftop bar. My main issue is with the staff I dealt with. Front desk staff was below par. We didn't get our two free water bottles on check-in. We decided to add on a third night to our stay and I spoke with the front desk beforehand to make sure that the extra night got added on without issue. Instead, we got locked out of our room when we got back and the room wasn't cleaned on the last night. The employees always seemed to be eating simultaneously while talking to me. A few other minor things Absolutely zero view other than looking into other people's windows. For $400 a night I would expect a little better than a view of a dumpster and other people's bedrooms. Ice machine didn't work. Elevator access was fairly frustrating because the card reader only worked intermittently. The shower floor is literally the most slippery I have ever used out of probably thousands of hotels I've used. I'm surprised more people haven't slipped. $65 a night for valet seems a bit high. It also seems understaffed as there seemed to be only one person at any time to pick up or drop off vehicles. So overall, a below average experience. I'll stick to the Hard Rock next time I come back to that part of town.

We had an incredible birthday weekend stay at Hotel Indigo. The moment we walked into the chic lobby we were greeted by a cheery and helpful staff. We got a room upgrade to a suite with amazing views of Petco park, thank you Michael ! The room was spotless and the bed was a dream of comfort. The location was perfect, walking distance to a variety of great restaurants and shops. On our last day we needed to store our luggage because we had a late flight out and Imani was so friendly and gracious helping us with our bags and making sure we had access to the hotel amenities ! Will definitely come back !!

The showers had no safety strips in them to prevent falls, and I fell in the shower and tore the ligament in my left wrist. Eight weeks post visit. I am still trying to get my wrist back to normal. When it was reported to the front desk, their comment was is the management knows about this, but they haven't taken care of it. This is more negligence than anything, but overall the hotel and staff was great.

The hotel and our room were great! We had a nice view of city and could see the stadium and water. It was spacious. Customer service at front desk and restaurant were excellent! Shout out to Harmony who checked us in and was fabulous!! Only thing I would say is walls are thin and you can hear everything from rooms next door. Overall we were very happy and would stay again.

I had a King Studio Suite with a view of Petco Park. It was on the tenth floor, but unfortunately above the Level 9 Rooftop Bar. I stayed on a Friday and Saturday night, so they were open until Midnight. It was quite noisy from the music and people just outside the window. Overall the room was nice, but I would choose a different room next time.

Would not recommend staying here. Extremely rude front desk staff. Very noisy rooms that kept us up almost the entire night. Stayed 2 nights and complained about air conditioning both nights, were told that they’ll be sending in some sort of a fan that never arrived. Espresso machine not working at breakfast. Didn’t get the feel of any other Indigo property we have stayed at.

We had to ask for valet parking as all the employees were too busy conversing with each other. It seemed like an inconvenience for them to assistance us. The front desk was rude and she was originally outside occupied with the valley workers to assists us. Not very professional. And when we did have questions instead of answering us a paper was handed to us.

we stayed for just one night - but it was an easy and comfortable stay. kudos to the valet who found us a street parking spot just across the street. and everyone at the front desk were very friendly and personable. the only downside was walking around gaslamp district at night - saw some homeless people with mental illnesses screaming and throwing things. so sad, that is something as a country we need to fix.

Stayed 4 nights for business, hotel is walking distance to Convention Center (about 15 minutes walk). Arrived at 10:30am, official check-in is 4pm, but they gave me a room early, without charge. Breakfast at the 509 restaurant was very good with very nice service by Sergio. Gym is open 24/7. Room is comfortable and clean, and general service is fast and efficient.

Would not return. They have an advertisement on their 12 that says 24 hour room service and it's not true. Their rooftop restaurant closes earlier their advertised. We were give a $15 credit to use that we were not able to because the restaurant closed early.

Located in walking distance to restaurants and bars. Check in and out was a smooth process. I was greeted by friendly staff. Room was clean and spacious. The only thing that I was not impressed with was the service at the roof top bar! 3 bartenders that seem to focus and serve who caught their attention while the gentleman I was with was by passed and ignored for quite a length of time! He waited patiently and held his cool while I almost lost mine! The food and drinks are not cheap so the service really should be better! I would recommend staying here but definitely would not recommend the roof top bar!
