All the reviews I've seen state that this hotel was the loudest place they've ever stayed. I had the opposite experience. We were front and center within the hotel on the second level and it was the quietest accommodations we had on the entire trip.

Passing through on an Ireland driving tour. Port Hotel was exactly what we were looking for. Not a new retro "boutique" but the real thing in good condition for its age. Great experience and excellent Staff. Walking distance to everywhere in the downtown area.

Staff were so friendly and helpful! Hotel is looking a bit run down. Shower door was difficult to open/close and shower would not turn off.
