Excellent location for touring Old Montreal on foot while still very car accessible. Modern, clean, quiet and with great in room amenities, including kitchen and laundry.

This is a small but fully equipped apartment. There is no front desk, concierge or other amenities, and contact with management is strictly electronic. Once we adjusted to the coded door locks we really had no problems. The location was perfect for our needs, for sightseeing, restaurants and we enjoyed walking the streets and waterfront -- even rode the Ferris wheel. Notre Dame basilica is a block away. A wild display of 19th century architectural excess that somehow feels just right. Bach's d minor Tocatta and fugue, which was played on the 7000 pipes of the organ while we were there really rocks in a venue like that.

Great hotel that is located within 5 to 8 minutes walking from the convention center. We stayed there four nights for a convention in early October. The area is safe, within a block of the cathedral of Notre Dame. Lots of coffee shops and boutiques in the area. The room was huge. There is a full kitchen with dishwasher. It’s well equipped, although we did not use it. There is a washer and dryer which came in handy. Overall, a great value for the money. Travelers should know that check in/out is via a webpage. There is really no one at the front desk. If you’re not reasonably technically savvy, or without Internet access, you will have a bad time. So make sure that you have good Internet connection on your phone. Also, if you need a lot of constant support, Dele housekeeping, this is not the ideal hotel for you. If you want a great large space for a great price, this is it!

We had not planned to stay in an apartment type hotel but that is what was available and it worked out well for us. The location of the property is ideal for exploring Old Montreal in the port area and it's easy to get to other parts of the city. The staff was expert and friendly.

This hotel got everything right. Self check-in, no staff on site - but everything was just perfect. We booked a loft, and the room was large, clean, and comfortable. It had amenities like ample closet storage, a medicine cabinet in the bathroom (no more balancing your toiletries on the sink ledge!), newer appliances, including a full size washer/dryer. Even little things...like there was a bench that accommodated two open suitcases...they really thought of everything. Our unit had a view to the street but it was very quiet. The only times we heard other guests were when they were exiting their rooms or talking in the hallway. The location was amazing - quiet street, 1 block from Notre Dame and 3 mins from all the restaurants/shops in Old Montreal. We also spent some time on the 6th floor deck, which was very nice as well. The only thing I want to note for other guests - I booked a loft that had pictures with the wooden beams on the ceiling. The room we got was not that one - which I was disappointed about at first. But ours felt like an upgraded room, as it had a sunken living/dining area, and seemed bigger than the other one. So you may not get the exact room you pick, but it'll still be a great room with all the promised amenities. We liked this hotel so much that when we moved on to Quebec City, our accommodations there really highlighted how good the Bresoles was. We would 100% book this hotel again.
