parking should be included. Rooms are small for the price. Check in while. I had to go back in line to get the key, the room was not ready by the time I was told. If you want to get drinks by the pool you need to go get them yourself.

I saw a worker pick up a slice of bread and place it back in the tray of bread when they were taking all the food back to the kitchen. I was also running in the treadmill in the gym while some workers were working on an AC unit above my head which seemed a bit dangerous. The front desk people were very kind as well as the waitress.

Eas a rainy day. Used the pool and jacuzzi to relax. Saw people getting drenched to get to the gym as the passage is open, uncovered and full of up and down stairs. Other than that, it was an enjoyable experience.

It was a hot weekend AC where not functioning to full potential making the room hot . Switch us rooms and tv was not working . Pool was dirty overall . Very hard to drive in and out of will not be using this hotel again

It’s a 1980s hotel that is beginning to show its age. The pool area needs an urgent make up. Very conveniently located with easy parking and awesome valet parking service. Nice bar area. Pool area needs a good make up urgently.

I paid just over $200 for Tijuana...heard it was 5 star. Maybe 2.5 stars. I switched rooms 3 times. # 1 was on 1st floor with a view of an empty swimming pool not golf course # 2 the Ac didnt work. It took a worker and a manager who disagreed with me to switch me. This time I got to be on the 9th floor with an awesome view of the city. The pillows were so awesome and I got a suite which the bellhop that walked me up forgot to show me. The TV in both rooms of the suite only played Marriott commercials altho it said YouTube was free and my streaming channels were also supposed to work but none did. The Ac did work on the 9th floor room! What I absolutely hated about all 3 Rooms...I like to walk barefoot and all floors were grungy. I wore socks and they were so nasty they became garbage. 1 other thing is so many employees not really doing anything in the lobby, but u come in they practically grab your bag although I said no. Perhaps probably them trying to offer good customer service but it's the opposite. I would know after 25 years as server and bartender in Alaska on a skeleton crew the majority of the time. Marriott is like being in a car dealership that is run on commission only! It's a big turn off. Then you feel obligated to tip which I did and a good amount I may add but service is not the best honestly. I will not stay there again. Worst $200 I ever spent for a golf view. They tried to make it right only after I had to complain so much. Just not worth the hassle.

Internet was not working the entire 5 night stay. On Saturday the main lobby halls was packed with soccer fanatics which made coming and going an issue. No one came to clean the room/ change blankets. They charge for water bottles.

Excellent service. Unfortunately, the floors were not thoroughly clean as I could tell by walking barefoot. In addition, our television had no signal and were unable to get it resolved. The hotel offered to provide us with a different room but as we were checking out the next morning we left it at that. We felt very secure and pampered otherwise. 👍

Room had loud noise from elevator close by, requested switched room and the next the AC was noisy and was not blowing air at all, so not working. Pillows were old and flat not comfortable, curtains stuck could not be closed, so bright lights disturbing our sleep.

The two stars is because iwas given an interior with no windows , which i never stayed in a room like that before, it is really not pleasant. Staff gave me the choice but until next day evening which was not really convenient.

The problems started at check-in; the receptionist was very curt. By the way, I’m fluent in Spanish. She said our room was not ready. We arrived at about 3:15 or so, check-in was 3. She said it would be about 15 minutes. No problem, we went to the bar area to have a snack & drink. I asked if we needed a voucher for the breakfast we had paid for. She said it “wasn’t in the computer” but she’d check with her supervisor. At the bar, the servers were very nice but the service was extremely slow.. We ate, drank, etc. The food prices were high, but the food was tasty. It was nothing fancy, tacos & tortas. We still didn’t have a room. The receptionist approached us after FIVE, to give us our rooms. She said they would not honor our breakfast even though we showed her we paid for it. At this point, we were in a hurry because we had an event at 7, and we had gotten our rooms so late! In our room, the “hot” water was lukewarm at best, and a literal trickle. It took forever to shower. The lamp on my side did not work. Overall, the hotel was shabby. At checkout next morning, the front desk guy was very nice. Some of the staff were very friendly and nice. The afternoon receptionist was horrible. She was rude to us and as I overheard, to her coworkers. I heard her snapping at them rudely, in front of customers. At any rate, I’d never stay here again.

TJ Marriott used to be one of my favorite hotels to stay at. The service has declined tremendously, specifically at the restaurant. The quality of food is not great, and service of waiters and managers is rude. We stayed two days, it took forever to get our food for lunch, not once did a manager come to the table. The manager was at the door laughing with staff. We also went to Sunday brunch, service was lacking. The dirty dishes just sat there, the waiter was nowhere to be found. Check-in staff and cleaning staff were great, they greet you with a smile and talk to you. The beds are very comfortable, and the hotel is in a great location. The pool is also heated which is nice. I hope their service improves, otherwise we won't return. It was a disappointing stay to say the least, I don't recommend it.

Hotel muy recomendable si vas al Estadio de los Xolos, y/o Zona de Aguacaliente, muy cercas te vas caminando, el hotel limpio , toda la gente muy amable , el cuarto muy bien , la cama muy agustito, si lo recomiendo y el desayuno Buffet deli deli !

Great place to stay if you’re going to a soccer game at Estadio Caliente. You’re able to walk there and come back, feeling safe walking amongst others. There is staff at the door opening the door for you and watching you come in.

Do not eat at the restaurant/bar. Did not get my drinks for 20 minutes and had to remind the server about the drinks. I took an hour for me to get my cheeseburger and it was cold. My daughter had to reorder her food and that took another half an hour to get and her cheeseburger was raw. I filed a complaint with the manager on duty and was told everything was going to be taken care of and this was unacceptable. The only thing they did was remove one of cheeseburgers from my bill. The stay in the hotel was ok but this experience ruined the stay.

It was good but the room service was not the greatest 1 st they took almost 1 house to get the food 2nd they forgot some items and I couldn’t eat one of the dinners because the meat was soo hard to chew (like gum) I even show it to the waiter , he did offer to replace it but I had to wait another hour? No thanks ,and it wasn’t that cheap either!!!! Almost $100 dlls

Área del lobby sin A/C , área de bar sin A/C , nos tuvieron que cambiar de cuarto 2 veces porque en ninguno funcionaba el A/C , es un hotel caro para tener que el cambiar en la madrugada a mi familia de cuarto . En general el staff es amable y atentos , en área de bar pedimos de comer , una pasta pomodoro y estaba muy buena y buena porcion , pedí también un aguachile y nada que ver , de entrada venía con como 5-6 camarones , a temperatura ambiente y no fríos , sabor muy incipido y caro para lo que es , la cerveza MUY cara una cerveza corona a 110 pesos , no 45 pesos no 60 pesos no 70 noooo más de 100 pesos por una cerveza MUY caro

Very friendly stuff, and a good hotel in general, but sone areas require a bit of renovation. The pool shower did not work, for example. The breakfast is good, especially its Mexican part, with tamales and chilaquiles and other stuff. The hotel is situated from a walkable distance frim the big Caliente Casino.
