The Hotel staff were excellent. Very helpful. The room was clean and had all that I needed. There was a happy hour fro 5 to 7pm with free drinks and snacks. Breakfast was very good. A large selection of foods. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.

The staff were very welcoming when I 1st arrived, explained all the amenities the hotel has to offer. I enjoyed that the hotel offers late check out for a reasonable prices since most hotels don’t offer that. The hotel had vending machines, laundry machines, and a hotel food/bar lobby which was very convenient. The best thing about the hotel is that it’s near a lot of subway stations which makes it easier to explore Tokyo.

Absolut Super. Sehr freundliches Peronal. Top ausgestattete Zimmer. Grosse Auswahl an Kaffee, Tee, Kamm, alles was man halt vergessen kann. Jeden Abend von 17 bis 9 Uhr kostenlose Getränke in der Bar. Wir freuen uns schon übernächste Woche wieder zu kommen.

Good hotel with reasonable sized rooms, friendly staff and convient location to travel around Tokyo. Laundry facilites on every 2nd floor. Location is limited for food options but there are plently of options a short walk away around Shimbashi station, which also makes it easy to get to Ginza, Shibuya, Tokyo and Shinjuku etc. I would stay here again.

I don’t know why Expedia says the hotel has no elevator, which is incorrect. Shiodome may not be the most convenient location like Shinjuku or Shibuya, but it still offers very convenient access to all the popular destinations via the Oedo metro line. The hotel is right above the metro station and within a short walk to Shimbashi station. The hotel is clean, has self-service laundry facilities, and vending machines on guest floors. The staff are super helpful.

浴室のバスタオルが、どう見ても白くありませんでした。畳み方も、自分で畳んだ方が絶対綺麗だと思う程。疲れていたので交換希望の連絡はしませんでしたが、帰宅して今回の旅を思い返す度に、清潔なタオルに交換してもらえば良かったと後悔しています。翌朝、朝食ブッフェに向かったところ、入り口受付けでチェックインの時にチケット受取りと朝食の案内をされていなかった事に気づきましたが、早めに並んだにもかかわらず後続の外国人が先にどんどん案内されて抜かされ、結局食べたい席に座れませんでした。

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience at the Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo - Shiodome. Unfortunately, our stay was marred by a very unpleasant issue that affected our entire experience. In the middle of the night, one of our three rooms was infested with cockroaches. We filmed them and immediately contacted the hotel staff for help. The staff member who came to assist was apologetic and did offer to switch us to a different room, but the switch could only happen the following day because it was already early morning. The disruption to our sleep was significant, particularly for one of my family members who has allergies to cockroaches and dust mites. The staff were courteous during check-in and tried their best to address the issue when it occurred. However, when we spoke to the front desk the next day about the discomfort and health concerns caused by the cockroach infestation, the response was less than satisfactory. We asked if they could cover breakfast for the five of us to help make up for the inconvenience, but they only offered to cover breakfast for one person, possibly two at most. Considering we had rented three rooms and the issue caused considerable disruption, this response felt petty and inconsiderate. The area around the hotel was quiet, safe, and well-located with good dining options, which was a positive factor in this experience. Overall, this hotel did not meet expectations.

Hotel is in a nice area. Close to shops and easy to train stations. Very nice staff and very clean. Rooms are way too small, I guess since it’s Tokio. But it was hard to manage since there was no closet and beds occupied most of the room. It’s good for a couple but three adults I will not recommend it.

Great - location, amneties, happy hour (daily from 5-7pm), reception staff - and very clean rooms. However, the mattress wasn’t comfortable (hurt my lower back) and toilet felt claustrophobic. Perhaps I’d choose a different room next time.

Had a very difficult time checking in on first day as the front desk clerk insisted that they are following policy of Expedia the 3 rooms I booked should be in different names. Since Expedia did not informed me of such policy, I was put on the spot when the hotel would not allow me to check in unless I settle the matter directly with Expedia. The issue was between the hotel and Expedia, but I was the one caught in the middle. What a bummer!

Check-in is at 3pm. This is taken literally ie they start checking people in at exactly 3pm and hand out tickets to form a queue… a frankly bizarre experience in a hotel if this standard! Many guests arrive very early because of flights from Europe and it’s not unusual for room not to be ready. But usually you can check in and simply go to your room when ready. This rather took the edge of what is pretty good hotel in a convenient location.

I stayed at this hotel twice on my trip to Japan and booked 4 rooms each time. The room I stayed at had a queen bed and a sofa. I asked for sheets for the sofa bed and they said the only way they would give them is if I paid $53 more a night. The bed was against the wall and hard to get out of to use the bathroom. So we wanted to use the sofa. If there’s only two people in the room and I want to use something in the room. I don’t think it’s fair that o should pay an additional $53 for sheets!

Enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The hotel, localted in a metro train station, is about 25-30 min train ride from most attractions. The hotel offers a free happy hour every night during my stay ( wine and beer). Staff were friendly and professional. I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is overall good being modern n clean looking with a touch of class. Location is ok with Shiodome odeo line being under the same roof nearby n the Ginza Asakusa line bit further away. The smaller rooms are tight but there are larger ones. It has everything u need with Japanese clinical efficiency. It felt a bit robotic. A negative would be their strict check out policy. I wanted to check out at 12pm instead of 11am..non nego 2k yen.. "Even if u stay 10 nights said the night officer in charge" .. that is rather cold.

Hotel was clean, location is convenient to 2 stations but does require a little bit of walking. I had an incident on communication of parking with one staff and the manager came out the next day to clarify the situation and take responsibility of the scenario , professionalism was shown. I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo - Shiodome! The location couldn’t be better — it’s right next to multiple subway entrances, which made traveling around Tokyo (and even to other parts of Japan) incredibly convenient. Room was a great size along with provided amenities. Having a station right outside and in the same building made navigating a breeze. As well as another line of subways just across the street. Staff was very nice and accommodating with handling our luggage as well as a late check-in. A scale provided in the lobby made it easy to verify our luggage weight would meet our airline criteria.

We stayed at Villa Fontaine Grand Shiodome during our Tokyo trip, and overall had a really good experience. The location is fantastic — right by the Shiodome and Shimbashi stations, which made it so easy to get around the city. It’s also within walking distance to Ginza and lots of restaurants and convenience stores. The hotel was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff were always kind, polite, and ready to help with anything we needed. The room wasn’t very big (which is pretty common in Tokyo), but it was well organized and had everything we needed for our stay.

The hotel staff was excellent compared to canadien experiences. The room was tight no drawers or wardrobe i guess that is Japanese standard. Directly connected to Shiodome subway and 15 minutes walk to Shimbashu station with train connection to Haneda airport.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo Shiodome. It is conveniently located between Haneda Airport and Tokyo with access to subway and train stations nearby. I knew this hotel was in a Business district before I booked it and it was actually not bad. The location is super convenient with a short walk to Oedo line and a few more steps to the much larger Shimbashi station it offered an easy way to get around Tokyo and because you’re in a Business district just avoid the rush hours and it’s quite nice. Evening time may not have as many dining options as other areas but there was a decent selection close by. Room was clean and well kept. They offered a free baby crib which was a huge plus for us. Garbage bins and towels were changed daily and the bed was made but the sheets weren’t changed daily but that was okay with us. Room size was typical for a Japanese hotel but it had just enough space for us. Upon checkout we left an item behind in our room and we called the moment we noticed it was missing and the hotel found the item and they held it for almost two weeks while we travelled Japan and picked it up on our return to Tokyo before our flight home. We would definitely stay here again.
