Mostly good, especially as for me it was just a spot to stop to drop my bags and sleep a bit in between exploring the area. Had a great view from the room. Breakfast buffet was extensive and mostly tasty (plenty worth whatever small additional cost it added to the reservation). The elevator system was annoying (two sets going to different blocks of floors, so always having to transfer to get from the guest rooms to anywhere else). The bidet was kind of lackluster. Biggest gripe is about not being able to use the onsen due to having tattoos (yes I knew it could be an issue; did not recall them being a place with that stipulation, but could've just missed that detail among the booking of a half-dozen different spots for my full trip).

Chose a sea view room and left the rest default setting. Then when checked in, being assigned a smoking room. Asked the reception for exchange and be told all sea view rooms were booked out, and gave me a city view room. Hotel Refused to refund the difference. Asked Hotels.com to contact, being told that all sea view rooms are smoking rooms!!! Be very careful when you book yours if you decide to check in this hotel. Smoking sea view is a default. It even shows that my request is Smoking on my receipt. I did not request a smoking room. Use Hotels.com as a platinum user so I know how to book a hotel room on hotels.com. Very small room.

The staff during the checking was not interested. The lady was not friendly and really not happy to be there. She give me strong instructions and never give the ticket for the public bath. Otherwise the room was good the bed very large and comfortable. The public bath was really good . The restaurant Teppanyaki was good too .
